Ford - Explorer :: 1995 - Replaced Fuel Pump / Filter / Pressure Regulator / Crank Position Sensor But Won't Start?

1995 Ford Explorer, 4 ltr. engine, pushrod. Will not start. Replaced fuel pump, fuel filter, every relay, pressure regulator, and the crank position sensor. I realize there's a whole bunch more parts under the hood, but I am ready to give up. Before the fuel pump would not run. Reason for replacing the parts. Now it won't stop running and you can feel the fuel by-passing at the pressure regulator. When checking the pressure at the rail I get zero !! I used a tire pressure tester for this. And, like I said no pressure. This vehicle has around 170,000 miles on it.

Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: Surging After Oil Pressure Sensor Replaced

I have a 2007 f350 6.0, just replaced the oil pressure sensor in January, now, my truck is surging like crazy! I heard it could be the ICP sensor, how easy is this to change? And where do I find it if this is the problem!

Prius (2010-12) :: ABS And VSC Lights On After Tire Pressure Sensor Replaced?

I took my Prius to get one of the air pressure sensors replaced on a front tire. When they returned it to me they told me that the ABS and the VSC lights were on and did I know that. I told them that was not on before. Anyway they told me they could not fix it an I needed to take it to the dealer to get it re-calibrated which i did.. How can I prove that this happened when the tire was being worked on, or can I?

Ford Ranger / B-Series :: Changing MAF Sensor / High Fuel Pressure

I have a 2009 Ranger 2.3 L manual with about 100000 miles. The engine was bogging down and I just found out that the MAF sensor is bad from testing it. In the process, I measured my fuel pressure to be 73 psi (manual says 60-65 psi). So I have two questions:

a.) Is there any chance of just cleaning the MAF sensor. The sensor has zero volts when running and warm (or .02 v) and barely changes when reving the throttle.

b.) Perhaps then the high fuel pressure is an unrelated issue. Is this so high that I must change the regulator as I have to change the pump as well? Might it be some other issue than the regulator which is what the Hayness manual says?

One theory I had for the high fuel pressure is that the bad MAF was leading to bogging and lean conditions and the computer was running the pump more to compensate but I think the computer might run the pump based on fuel pressure not the o2 sensor.

Honda - Cr-v :: 2005 - Fuel Air Sensor Replaced But Still Getting Codes P0133

I checked my engine codes after the engine light came on. They were P0133 and another indicating an A/F upstream sensor problem. I had it replaced by an independent mechanic. A few days after I had the same code. Mechanic went over it and thought it was loose wiring. A few days after codes P0133 and P0128 were generated. Now the light will come on every few days, will stay off for a few. Do I have to get my computer upgraded? Honda 05 CRV ...

Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: 5 Volt Location For Fuel Pressure Sensor?

I'm looking to use a 5V location for the Dash Boss fuel pressure sensor. I know most of the sensors (except the CMP & CKP sensors) use a 5V reference voltage. Which one to use? AIT & EBP are close to the sensor mounting location.

Prius (2001-03) :: CEL Back On After Fuel Throttle Cleaning And Oxygen Sensor Replaced

I just posted last week that my check engine light was on and the dealer wanted to replace fuel injectors. But after the fuel throttle was cleaned and oxygen sensor was replaced the check engine light went off. However, yesterday the check engine light came back on. I am talking it back to the dealer, in a couple of days. Where can I go to get to get the error codes read so I have them before I go back to the dealer? Around 128,000 runs fine, around 40 miles per gallon. Last time I had the oil change dealer nothing came up on the 30 point inspection.

Ford F-150 (2004-2008) :: 2007 F150 Sputtering After Fill Up - Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor

The ole 5.4l hit a snag today. I was on my way to fill her up and she started sputtering and damn near died! i filled her up and it was like nothing ever happened. Took her to AutoZone and the diagnosis was a Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor.

I have a connection with Bumper-to-Bumper to get the part for cheap but I'm not sure if i want to dive into either moving the bed or dropping the tank. I'd prefer to move the bed.

Ford 7.3L Power Stroke (1999-2003) :: 2002 - Fuel Pressure Gauge - Install Sensor Into Lift Pump?

I am installing a fuel pressure gauge into my 02 7.3 I went to the thread the sensor into the plug hole on the fuel filter housing and it wasn't threaded, turns out the sensor thread is slightly smaller and a different thread ... The directions say to install it into the filter housing or the lift pump ... So I'm assuming I have to go the lift pump direction of installing it but where the lift pump is or how to install the sensor into it while not throwing a code or causin problems ... A step by step and even pictures.

Ford Fuel System :: Replaced Filter - Won't Start

Ok, I've replaced the fuel filter today and my truck still won't start. Checked fuses, and Fuel relay (19th slot). I've found the red fuel switch and it doesn't depress so I suspect it isn't tripped. I'm out of my league if I have a fuel pump problem.

Sierra :: Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor - Code P0453

I have the code P0453 set and believe I need to replace the fuel tank pressure sensor. I have the part and want to know if this part can be replaced without removing the fuel tank. There is a video on youtube that shows replacing the part by lowering the tank with a transmission jack after the straps have been removed. Replacing the sensor by touch and feel maybe using mirrors to see what you are doing? It might be possible to cut a hole in the bed and patch it later but that seems pretty time consuming too.

Golf IV / Jetta IV :: 2001 - No Start After G68 Sensor Replaced?

Monday get CEL with codes p0722 and p0322. Car is in limp mode during these codes. Yesterday I change g68 sensor. Cleared codes, rough start but was sitting most of the week. Drove around fine, no limp mode, shifted fine. Started up a few times immediately after. Hours go by I go to leave and it won't turn over though it sounds its wants to. No clue why this is happening or what changing the sensor could have done. This is a 01 GLS 2.0 auto. Not sure where to from here especially since it drove so well afterwards.

Chrysler - Lhs :: 1997 - Replaced Ignition Coil / Crankshaft Sensor But Car Won't Start?

Drove 97 LHS home from work back at the end of June on a 100 plus day, it seemed fine, no indication of any problem. Got in it the next morning to go to work and it would not start. Cranks fine, hear fuel pump. So a few days pass before my husband can look at it. He did get codes. He replaced the ignition coil, put on a new fuel filter, and replaced a couple of modules. It would still not start. We towed it to a service station that we have used for years.

They replaced the camshaft sensor (and fixed the AC). I drove it for 8 days, no problems. Then on the morning of the 9th day, it would not start!! Exact same symptoms. So towed it again back to the service station. Then they said it was the PCM (control module). Husband went to junk yard to get one (much cheaper). Service shop put it in and then said that was not the problem and replaced the crankshaft sensor instead. Say it was ready to pick up. I went and paid again! Got key and came back later with husband to pick it up. IT would not start!!!

Ford - Explorer :: 2000 XLT - No Start / Low Fuel Pressure

2000 explorer XLT, 4.0L, OHV (VIN "X")---sitting for 15 months, engine turns over but no start unless 10 cc's of gasoline into intake manifold, then runs for 4-5 seconds. Fuel pressure of 5-6 PSI at fuel rail AFTER replaced fuel pump assembly and fuel filter. I can hear fuel pump come on for about a second with key on. Doubel checked fuses and relays for fuel pump and PCM, then again checked that engine would run briefly with gas squirted into intake manifold. Questions:

1) Could fuel lines be clogged after sitting for over a year?
2) Area driver's side next to spare tire, underneath jack storage, where return fuel lines are clustered (nuts are rusted and need to be sawed off)---some type of fuel regulator here? I thought fuel pressure regulator was on fuel pump assembly.
