Passat (B5) :: 2003 - Rear Ended On Red Light - Now Won't Start?
I was rear ended in my passat this morning at 30+ MPH. I was able to drive the car to the shoulder. But after that the car would not start and had to be towed. The red battery light was lit up on the dash, it sounded like the battery was supplying the power but the car would not crank up.
Is there anything in the bumper or back of the car that could potentially stop the car from cranking up?
Corolla / Matrix 2009-13 :: No Throttle Response After Being Rear Ended
2010 corolla drove fine for a few hours after being rear ended, then has no throttle response. Will only go 20 MPH on flat ground. But, turn the car off for a few seconds and restart....and it has full throttle response which may continue for a few seconds after putting car in gear. Then it is back to no throttle response. Car is setting p0600 code. Traction control is off. VSC light is on. Looking for something knocked loose.

While driving down the highway yesterday at about 65mph I went to change lanes. As I was changing lanes I gave it a little gas. About half way through the lane change truck jerked like I had just been rear ended. I immediately checked my mirrors to see if I changed lanes in front of some body. No one was around. Truck still ran the same. Everything I'be read seems like similar thing happen to others at slower speed.
Lexus GX 2004-09 :: 2003 With 56K Miles - Rough Ride / Rear Suspension Feels Hard And Bouncy
So I found an 03 gx one owner and only 56k Miles on it. Nice truck. I noticed right away that the rear suspension feels hard and bouncy. When I adjust the height it does work but seems to take a bit. In the Low setting feels like it is on the bump stops. Not sure where to start, sounds like the level sensors can be an issue, so I will have a look at them. Feels like it is just going to the top height to me thus making the ride really stiff. I climbed onto the rear bumper and tried to bounce the truck and it is like a rock. Like the bags are over inflated.

I noticed today when I was washing the car that the rear bumper feels loose to me compared to other cars... If I grab the bottom the bumper, just aft of the rear wheel, there can be significant movements of the bumper, and its the same on both sides... I don't see any loose screws.
Tried it with other model cars, the movement range from very small to nonexistent...not sure if it's just my vehicle or if they are all like this by design(or the lack of). The top of the bumper feels rigid enough. Now I kinda want to know if this looseness is causing my bumper to be flapping in the wind at highway speed...

Picked up new truck on Thursday, drove it on the hwy for the first time today and it feels like rear end is bouncing. Truck has 150 miles. I'm hoping it's just balacing that it needs, taking it back to dealer on Monday.

Acura - Tsx :: 2007 - Rear Lug Nut Sticking Out Further Than Other Ones
So, I have a 2007 Acura TSX with stock rims/lug nuts. Anyway, I just recently had to have one tire replaced due to a side wall puncture. Now, on that wheel, I am noticing that one lug nut is sticking out further than the other ones. It feels tight when I try to turn it, and I am unable to loosen it by hand. I don't have a torque wrench, so I am not sure what it is torqued to, but I am kind of concerned about this.
Could they have screwed up the lug nut post? Obviously, I will take it back to the place I had the tire/rim put on at, but they most likely won't be open till after the holiday.

The rear end on my truck feels slippery when starting to drive from a stop sometimes, and also when you drop the hammer to pass vehicles on the highway. Had the clutch packs replaced last year and did not solve the issue but found that maybe they were tightened too much. Also, who builds the differential that they would have put in that truck?

I have A 97 F-150 4X4 with rear drums. I noticed the brakes felt like they weren't releasing right away after i let of the brake pedal. i took drums off and noticed on the left rear the front shoe moved normal but the rear shoe didn't move at all. on the right side front shoe moves normal rear shoe very very slow, and i could see rear shoe was worn way more than front. So I replaced on both rear the shoes, all the hardware, springs, wheel cylinders and brake line from cylinders to the proportioning valve.bleed the brakes, and adjusted the drag on the drums. Now i drive it, test it out, feels like the same issue is going on. feels like im driving with the brake on, and right rear gets really hot. Did i miss something? not do something right?

A week ago my wife's car had a loud vibration in what i assumed was the tires or wheels whenever the car went over 40 mph, and got louder the faster i went. I noticed the front left tire looked a little low, and I was taking it in for an oil change anyway that day so i had them fill up the tire too. When I left it still had the same vibration all the way home. The car just sat in our garage for most of the last week with my wife driving it just around locally and I took it this morning with the plan to drop it off somewhere on my lunchbreak to get it checked out, but the vibration seems to be gone. I got it up to 90 mph and noticed nothing.
The car is an 2003 acura tl 3.2L with about 125,000 miles on it.
Acura - TL :: 2003 - Hesitation On Cold Start
When I start my car from a cold start - mostly in the AM, the car hesitates to start - but always starts. But the check engine light comes on along with the Vehicle Stability Assist indicator light and the VSA Activation Indicator lights come on. If I let the car warm up and then shut it off and restart, all lights go off except the check engine light. After two or three stops and starts (shut off and restart) the check engine light goes off.
I took it too the dealer and they said the computer indicated the cooling system had a malfunction. They did a pressure test on the system which indicated a leak. However, they could not find any coolant leaking from the radiator or belts. They only conclusion they could come to is that the head gasket "might" be cracked. The oil has not indication that the coolant is leaking into the oil.
There is no smoke coming from the tail pipes. So they said they think the exhaust is leaking into the radiator and forcing the coolant into the coolant reservoir thus leading to the engine to "overheat". BUT the engine is not overheating. if it is a cracked head gasket, will additives to the radiator such as Steelseal or blue devil really work?
