Golf IV / Jetta IV :: 09a Transmission - No Reverse / Car Doesn't Shift From 1st To Second Properly
Bought a 2003 golf gti 1.8t as kind of a project. Car had no interior no exhaust and some shifting issues. To fix the shifting issues rather than replacing solenoids I just got a rebuilt valve body. After installation the car still doesn't shift from 1st to second properly and now I don't have reverse. (It's an 09a transmission)

I've burned two CD-Rs with MP3s via the latest iTunes (10.7). When I put the CDs either in the 6-CD Changer OR the single player, the Prius acts like it doesn't recognize them. I can get it to "play" "track 1," but no sound comes out, and when I press skip, it just moves "track 1" to "0:00" and starts again.
When I look at the MP3 CD on my computer, I see that iTunes put everything into folders:
01 Artist -- > 01 Album --> file.mp3
So it looks like everything copied correctly.
What am I missing?
Are the folders screwing the Prius up?
Touareg :: Driver Door Doesn't Close Well And Vehicle Itself Pulls To Right?
I took the T-REG to a dealer today because I noticed the drivers door (more precisely the bottom corner towards the rear) doesn't close well, and the vehicle itself pulls to the right. I got a call back from the service manager stating that the door is actually bent!!! He states that the reason the vehicle pulls might be due to the bend as well!!! He advised me to call the dealer I actually bought it from and bring this up with them!!! I bought it with 103 miles it now has 203 (the extra miles are actually to just bring it to my house and drive it to the dealership)What should I do!!! Is the door actually repairable; the service manager states it is impossible to fix it because how it is made and installed!!

'04 Nissan Pathfinder 3.5L ~150k: P0011 and P0021
Friend's vehicle. OBD-II codes indicate Intake Valve Timing Control Bank1 and Bank2. Vehicle drives OK most of the time, but then has lapses of lost power where you step on the gas and the vehicle doesn't accelerate accordingly. RPMs rise, but tranny doesn't seem to shift at the right time. Overdrive button OFF doesn't seem to have any affect. Codes have been erased and returned the next day.
Is this Camshaft-related, as in Camshaft Position sensor? I had this issue with my '97 Taurus, but in that case it threw the code explicitly for the CMP sensor.
Ford - E150 :: While Accelerating Slowly Vehicle Doesn't Move For Several Seconds Until Transmission Catches
I bought a used 89' Ford e150. Automatic transmission, 194k mi. I fixed it up a bit and it is very much drivable. I just took it up to northern az and then back down. I had to have it towed recently and now my transmission is acting up. When I want to move it i put it into gear, either reverse or drive, now while accelerating slowly the vehicle doesn't move for several seconds until the transmission catches and it then starts to move. It does this now while driving and having to stop for lights and signs. It has a delay until the transmission catches. I wonder if the vehicle is dragged up on to a flatbed tow truck this can damage my transmission or driveshaft And cause this. What can I do to fix it

Just bought a 01 Accent hatch the other day. It's a 5 speed 4cyl. First gear through 4th have no problems. If I try to shift into 5th gear or reverse, the car doesn't want to go into them. I have an issue with my 2003 Prius. The reverse lights do not turn on when I put the vehicle in R. Checked the bulbs and they are fine. Checked all the relay (fuse) boxes and didn't find any burnt fuses.
I have a Haynes Manual and other than a circuit diagram, there is nothing that I could find about the location of the backup light relay. By the diagram I can tell that it is connected to a "HOT IN RUN or START" circuit and a 10 A fuse. Although it is useful for showing the wire routing, it doesn't tell me where it is!!

I have a Ford Explorer that my mechanic says needs a new trany. The vehicle takes a while to engage in reverse and does so with a loud clunk. Otherwise it runs good. I have 198K mi. It's an "02 4wd. My 2002 lincoln ls v8 140k miles doesn't move when put into reverse or drive 5 or even d4,3,2,1 , it just starts to roll back/forward when taken out of park. It has the gear selector with d5, d4,3,2,1 not the select shift. I was told needs new transmission, but before it stopped moving completely it was still driveable second slipped at lower speeds(mostly when looking for parking or in traffic).
I had made an appointment to bring my car to the shop and the same day is when it stopped moving. All this happen within a week during the week i constantly got an e where d5 was and on last day check engine light came on.

I recently bought my '05 Elantra from a small dealership and I'm starting to see a problem with it. If I shift into reverse and then go back into drive, the car doesn't go forward at all. I have to mess with the gear shift a bit to get the car moving. I'm pretty sure it's a bad linkage. The dealership I bought it from said it desperately needed motor mounts when they got it so they replaced 2 of them. I'm sure the problems are related. I can't find any information on replacing it myself though.
