Passat (B5) :: 2000 - No Fogs On Lower Grill?
My 00 2.8 b5 doesn't have the fogs on the lower grill. How would I go about putting them on. But I don't want the fogs on my headlights to come on with them. I just wan the fogs on the lower grill to be on when I turn the fogs on.

Mine managed to become partially dislodged by a piece of retread on the way home from WitW '13.
It's not flapping around or hitting the exhaust or anything, but I want to get it back in place. I tried to just jam it in there but it didn't want to stay. I'm thinking full removal and reinstall is my best option at this point.
I know one of the clips on the painted bumper section is cracked, so that may be some of the problem.
Hoping I can get it back in place and then use some plastic epoxy on the clip, trying not to glue the valance to the clip but repair the clip itself...
I've heard it can be a huge PITA to remove? To be fully clear here -- I'm just talking about the black plastic stuff around the exhaust. All of the painted parts are intact (other than a cracked clip that I can see on the lower plastic painted section).
Golf/GTI VI :: Drivers Side Lower Right Dash Trim And Panel Removal?
Trying to remove all the lower trim on the dashboard. Have everything but the lower right portion on the drivers side. The carbon trim on there seems to be tucked under the upper part of the dashboard itself and I can't remove it. I assume there is one final screw under there?
I can pop it loose a bit on the left corner but feel if I force that trim something is going to break.

I want to put lower grill fogs in my GLI, but was concerned about them interfering with the intercooler system. I currently have an upgraded SMIC, but was concerned the lower grill fogs would impede a significant airflow to the SMIC.
Additionally, I do plan on going to a FMIC in the near future and wasn't sure if people were able to run the fog lights while still having space for the FMIC piping.

The lower speaker grill is cracked, with one side pushed in and the other side pushed out. I would like to "iron" the crack back to a flat condition and see if it will be acceptable. If not I will need to get a new speaker grill. I looked, poked, and prodded, but cannot see how to gain access to the speaker. It doesn't appear to snap in. Is it secured from the back side?

I hit my panic button to located car at school and I hit it again nothing turned off alarm kept going off then I hit unlock button horn sound went away but my hazards were still flashing. As I hit it again it was a delayed reaction and finally my hazards went off the buttons ony remote were a bit delayed to work after all that my fogs stopped working bought a new relay and checked all fuses still not turning on also hooked it up to VAG and it was reading the lights

Golf/GTI VI :: Running DRLs And Fogs Together
New to the MK6 world and the halogens they have.. I am used to having Xenons... My question is there a way to run DRL's and fogs together?
I know there's a way to wire the city lights and fogs to run together, but I love the way the halogen DRLs look and i would like to run them together with the fogs. I do have a Euro switch.

I'd like to run my DRL's and Fogs at the same time in auto mode. Currently if you have the headlights set to auto and turn on fogs it enables the regular headlights as well. Id like only the U shaped DRLs and the fogs.

So I get on the Highway, I hit the gas and the rear window fogs up. Let up off the gas and the fog dissipates.
All I can think of is under heavy acceleration the heat from the exhaust is fogging up the rear window.

I know that to remove the lower knee panel under the steering wheel all that has to be done is to pull it off and the attachment snaps will pop free. However, How do I go about removal of the dash panel to the left of the steering wheel? This would be the narrow panel that also houses an ac vent, headlight and I believe it is the adjustable pedal control.
