Sonata NF (2006-10) :: 2008 - Rear Left Door Speaker Grill Broken
My 2008 Sonata's Speaker grill at left rear door is broken. How much does it cost to replace it . From the previous posts it's like I cannot replace the grill alone. Its like something hit in the center and it got broken.

I Recently purchased a Phaeton. However just the other day I found out the left rear passenger door speaker (the large one) is blown.
The dealer also has another Phaeton on the lot. The difference between the two is my vehicle has the upgraded sound system while the one at the dealer does not.
I was wondering if the two speakers from the two cars are the same or if they're interchangeable.
My vehicle is a 2006 while the dealer's is an '05.
Phaeton :: Speaker Vibration From Rear Passenger Door / Rattle When Going Over Rough Spots
Have been to dealer multiple times with concerns about speaker vibration from rear passenger door and rattle when going over rough spots from same general area. They end up saying they have not heard anything and I end up feeling like I am losing my mind. Does seem to be worse some times than others. Last weekend I opened the door and tapped the area around the base speaker. Lo and behold, sounds like there is something loose in there. Seems like it is moving around freely at times and may be caught somewhere and thus quiet at other times. What might be in there? Any easy way of getting at it on my own?

I've noticed on both rear doors, the Lower Moulding (black cover at the bottom of the door) #12 in the attached diagram (Light Blue Circle), is very much separated from the body of the car, it's like bended toward the outside, but it seems to be exactly the same on both sides, I am not sure if this is normal or mine has a defect
Both front doors are OK, not 100% perfectly aligned with the body of the car, but MUCH better than the rear doors....
Phaeton :: 2005 - From Left Rear Window / Door Wind Noise?
My 05 phaeton has a lot of wind noise coming from it especially over 60 miles per hour. The window is fully up the door is closed and even in the car wash no water gets in. The seal seems tight.

A couple of days ago I tried to open my locked car by pulling the outside handle as usual, but the car door would not unlock. I then tried the remote key, but still no access granted. Finally I used the key to open the door manually. Upon starting the car, the clock started turning around and re-set after a complete revolution of the dial. I was not able to lock the car with the door button, but the door locked with the remote key......... I figured the battery in the key fob was low on power, so I replaced it. Everything worked fine for a day, but then the same issues returned the next day. The next time I drove the car, everything was good, and its been good for two days now.

My center speaker grill in the middle of the dashboard makes rattle noises when the temperature drops. So in the summer the parts expand to be tight and no noise. As soon as the temp drops <60F, the parts shrink slightly and the speaker grill makes all kinds of creaking, rattling noises as the car goes over bumps, goes around turns, etc.

The lower loudspeaker in the driver's door gurgles. As usual with these things it is hard to describe the sound. There is some echo; it's a bit like reception from a weak radio signal. I thought it might be a speaker fault and was ready to book her in for a new one when I found that the fault is intermittent. All other speakers are fine.

I have a 2008 with 21,000 miles on it, the arm rest has a completely worn down as if it has a 100,000 miles on it. Also I took car back to dealership because the rear speaker vibrates at the sound of music. I was away from the Phaeton for 2 weeks and managed to let the battery run down to totally dead (left Radar detector on). Started her up on the secondary battery and everything seemed fine, but, a few days later, I had occasion to put down the drivers window - no joy. Tried the passengers window - again no joy. The rear windows were fine. When I try to operate the window I hear a short sound like the window is starting to open, but nothing happens and the glass does not move. Because it is so unlikely that both front windows would fail simultaneously, I suspect a controller may need to be reset. Is there any way to trouble shoot this without a VAG COM?

I want to put lower grill fogs in my GLI, but was concerned about them interfering with the intercooler system. I currently have an upgraded SMIC, but was concerned the lower grill fogs would impede a significant airflow to the SMIC.
Additionally, I do plan on going to a FMIC in the near future and wasn't sure if people were able to run the fog lights while still having space for the FMIC piping.
Phaeton :: Windshield Cracked At The Lower Right Corner Of The Rear View
I have the '05 V8.
The crack seems to originate at the lower right corner of the rear view mirror assembly contact point and spreads out in four opposing directions including two to the top edge of the glass. I could find zero chips on the outside of the glass at the nexus point of the crack. I also did not get hit in the windshield while driving -- not that I noticed anyway.
We went to the opera at night drove it home and noticed no damage and parked in the garage. The next day I went to the garage and noticed the crack (the cracks are about 8 inches long or so). The garage was very hot.
Is it POSSIBLE, and are there any reports of this happening, that the heat or something else caused the rearview mirror assembly to torque and crack the windshield or am I dreaming that I can blame VW and I just must have missed the crack when I drove home and it happened some other way.
