Accent MC (2006-11) :: Fogs Stopped Working Suddenly?
I have the base model GLS, but I put fogs in and hard wired them to the battery. They've been on for about 2 years now, and yesterday I went to turn my switch on under my dash and they didn't work. Fuse is fine, wires are fine, and the bulbs look fine. I'm still thinking its the bulbs though because the other day I put my header back on and I think the bulbs hit floor and kinda bent from the contact, so I'm thinking that might be it.

I did some VAG COM work today. (Comfort Blinker, fogs as DRL, Needle Sweep, Auto Lock/Unlock, Remote Windows, Fogs as Corner lights, Fogs don't go off when high beams on). I am using a Hex- Can cable that is approx. 1 year old. These are the malfunctions I am getting with the VAG Com
01-Engine -- Status: Malfunction 0010
02-Auto Trans -- Status: OK 0000
03-ABS Brakes -- Status: OK 0000
04-Steering Angle -- Status: OK 0000
08-Auto HVAC -- Status: OK 0000

Golf/GTI VI :: Running DRLs And Fogs Together
New to the MK6 world and the halogens they have.. I am used to having Xenons... My question is there a way to run DRL's and fogs together?
I know there's a way to wire the city lights and fogs to run together, but I love the way the halogen DRLs look and i would like to run them together with the fogs. I do have a Euro switch.
Golf/GTI VII :: DRLs And Fogs Set To Auto At Same Time
I'd like to run my DRL's and Fogs at the same time in auto mode. Currently if you have the headlights set to auto and turn on fogs it enables the regular headlights as well. Id like only the U shaped DRLs and the fogs.

So I get on the Highway, I hit the gas and the rear window fogs up. Let up off the gas and the fog dissipates.
All I can think of is under heavy acceleration the heat from the exhaust is fogging up the rear window.

I did a search and I can't seem to find anything on how to remove the 2 side lower grills for fogs. I wanted to know if the whole bumper need to be removed?

08 R32. Having problems with their A/C. It was working one week an not the next. There is no sign of any leaks or any damage to any hoses or the compressor. There is power to compressor but doesn't seem as if the clutch is engaging.

My kessy key fob stopped transmitting . no more keyless entry or keyless starting. Buttons still work and i can start the car by holding the key fob on the steering column. I used my vag com to check key fob signal and there is none. Its the key fob because my wifes key fob is still transmitting and i can read a signal on it. Its annoying driving around with the key not in range message popping up all the time. This is why you can drive the car without a key fob in it. I know people were complaining about that but it makes since know if your key fob stops transmitting so you don't get stranded. Any ways a trip to the dealer and a hour and half for them to figure out what i told them, they ordered me a new key fob.not sure why they wouldn't stock a key fob but now i have to go back when it comes in for them to reprogram it. Good thing im still under warranty. I am scared how much this will cost when not in warrenty. Having regrets about the kessy system now.

Two weeks ago my airbag light came on and I got an airbag fault message. A week later the MFD controls on the steering wheel and the DSG paddles just stopped working. I had searched around and found that some people had issues with the clock spring. I brought the car to the dealership and they mentioned that maybe it was the clock spring, but after checking everything out they told me that the horn buttons needed to be replaced and that they were causing the issue. I have a hard time believing that this is the issue because the airbag fault popped up a week before the MFD controls and DSG paddles stopped working.

This morning I started my car and all was well, all gauges working. Drove 2 miles and stopped to get gas. Put some gas in my car and started it back up. My gas gauge never went up. Stayed slammed down to the E. All my other gauges were working normally except the gas. My gas light was not on saying I was on E, and I don't have a CEL.

The tachometer in my 2010 golf recently stopped working. it just sits at 0 RPM's no matter what. I'm not sure if it is a fuse or something else has gone wrong. I'm not even sure which fuse to replace to try and fix the problem.

A couple months ago my Key Fob stopped working. I tried using the button and then tried to use the key to unlock the door. I'm trying to figure out if there is a possibility that the immobilizer in my fob is junk or maybe its something as easy as changing the battery (which is another issue in itself because I cant open the fob for the life of me) Once again just curious if there is something I can do to fix this issue without contacting and dealing with the dealership. Would like to be able to lock my car again at some point.
