Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: Body Mounts Completely Went Out?

So since I bought this truck a few weeks back I noticed it rode alittle "rougher" than some of the other trucks I test drove. But for the life of me I could not find anything suspension wise so I crawled under and looked else where to find this......

I'm ordering new mounts from AutoNation Ford White Bear Lake | Parts & Accessories I've read good and bad things about using after market poly bushings, and I'm just not wanting to take the risk. I want it to ride like factory. There are a total of 8 mounts, just the rears are going to run $150.

Also on a side note, I'm thinking of swapping out the exhaust. The downpipe is a full 4' and its hitting in alot of places. Do most of you run the 3.5" DP like MBRP makes?

Passenger far rear Top of same one, basically gone Here you can actually see where the shell has been hitting the frame bracket The middle ones look ok but are pretty dry rotted Drivers far rear is completely gone top and bottom The exhaust pipe is whacking the cross member because the hanger isn't even being used

Elantra XD (2001-06) :: Manual Transmission Grind When Moving The Shifter From 1 To 2

I recently started having an issue where when I shift from 1 to 2 I'll get a quick grind of the gears. Here are the circumstances:

- the clutch is completely depressed, just the act of moving the shifter from 1 to 2 causes the grind.

- only when the car is moving.

- one time I was driving and coasting for a while just shifting back and forth from 1 to 2 with the clutch fully depressed and it kept happening.

- if I shift really slowly I can usually prevent it from happening, though I don't think it's RPM related.

Volvo :: 1988 / Manual Transmission Stuck In 4th - Shifter Freely Moves

last night I was on my way to work and had the car in forth traveling about forty-five. A light ahead of me turned red and I held the clutch in until I had stopped. I shifted into what I thought was first. I discovered that regardless of the shifter position, the transmission left it in forth gear. Barely got it moving from a stop and brought it back home.

Looking under the car, I don't know exactly what the linkage mechanism looks like. I'm not sure how to tell if it has been disconnected or misaligned. I don't know if the problem is in the transmission itself either. The shifter moves to other positions freely, but in actuality it stays locked in forth gear.

Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: 2007 - Sputters In Same Location?

I've had a 2007 Coachman Freelander class C RV with E-450 for about 8 months now. We have been on 7 camping trips to the same location this summer, and the engine has sputtered in exactly the same place on 6 of these trips. It's pretty freaky, like the road has bad mojo there.

We have to come down a steep incline for about 2 miles, dropping about 500' vertical at about 6500' elevation. Then we drive for 2 miles on the flat before hitting a big mountain climb up to 7500'. About 30 seconds into the climb, the engine will sputter, and kick out smoke from the tailpipe. The first time I pulled over, and it idled fine. I took off and climbed the hill just fine. Now I just drive through the sputter, and it goes away after a minute.

So what's happening? Is the fuel tank sloshing crud around? I never get a water-in-fuel alarm, although the E450 doesn't have much of a message center. It doesn't happen on other sections of mountain road. This rig has about 38,000 miles, and is bone stock. I put new oil and fuel filters in before the summer. This rig is the same size as my old '82 RV E350 w/ 460, and boy is the 6.0L an improvement!

Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: 2004 - Location Of Oil Leak?

just picked up a 2004 (May, 04) F350 DRW with the 6.0 Powerstroke. I love this truck so far. After sitting in the driveway overnight, I noticed a decent sized puddle of oil on the driveway, probably the size of my fist. I took several pictures for diagnosis:

Any quick thoughts as to where this oil leak is originating?

Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel :: 2012 - Location Of Wire For Cab Lights?

2012 F350 Lariat - want to install cab lights. Can't locate correct wire to tap for power. I want to use the same power that powers the parking lights so these come on as they should. Is the best connect on the driver or passenger side, and what color wire is it? I've read yellow with green stripe (and found about 4 of them) and a brown wire I couldn't find.

Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel :: Location Of Air Intake Of Cabin A/C System?

Where the air intake for the cabin air conditioning system is? The past several trucks I've owned had a cabin air filter which I replaced annually. They get filthy and I can see why this dirt should not get into the evaporator coil. It will reduce air flow and here in Texas we need all the air flow we can get (106 today). It shouldn't be too hard to improvise a filter to wrap over the intake (for a cheap fix).

Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel :: 2010 - Location Of Plug On Main Harness?

Have a 2010 Lariat crew cab and I just bought an upfitter switch set and relay harness. Found where to mount the relay block and have been able to get the switch panel installed in its home. For the life of me though I cannot find the plug in the main harnes under the dash to plug the relay harness into to power everything up. I've read several threads here and even found the drawings that indicate plug #C215 in a diagram for the 2011+ trucks. When I get access panel out and look underneath the dash where it should be....no spare or open plug. Is the plug location diferent in 2010 from the 2011?
