Lexus LS 2007+ :: Fog Lights To Stay On With Parking Lights?
LS460 L ... Re-wiring fog lights to come on with only parking lights? How did you do it. Do fog lights also stay on now with brights?

This morning I had to jump my LS 460, the battery was dead because a light was left on. When I jumped and All of the lights on the dashboard came on. Once the car started they stayed on. I put it in park and tried restarting it but to no avail.

I have a 2008 600hl. It showed Hybrid system failure and I took it to the dealer last week. They said that the hybrid system charges well but the issue seems to be 12V battery. I got the car back and drove for 1 day, it stopped again at a major red light. This was a dead stop on Friday 5 pm peak hour traffic. My little daughter was sitting behind and so many cars came close to hitting us which made me mad at Lexus. Luckily I called cops and then they gave protection till it was towed.
All dashboard lights got on and it would show the following:
- Check Hybrid System
- Check Brake System
- Check VSC
Check Hybrid System is mainly a cell or module failure. If they at the dealership were able to charge the Hybrid System, does it mean it was working? Their health check showed 75%
- Since the car stopped abruptly at a stop light, if we were hit from behind, does Lexus/dealership have any liability? My major issue was that my daughter sitting behind does not get hurt.
Lexus LS 2007+ :: All Lights On Dash Came On - Car Won't Start
I got into my car and pressed the start button. All the lights on the dash came on but nothing happened. I tried to jump start the battery. Nothing. I got a volt meter from someone at the club and found that the battery was fine. I called the Lexus dealer close to me. They told me it was the in the key. Just hold the key close to the start button and it will start. Did this and nothing. I did not get the indicator light that the car cannot find the key. Every time I press the start button, I hear on click from the engine then nothing. I think maybe the starter. I had the car toed to the Lexus dealer since I have the extended warranty. I changed the battery about two months ago after the car was dead late one Sat. night in a parking garage. But I jump started it and drove it home. Replaced battery and everything was fine until today.

I'm wondering if it's possible to turn on the foglights without the headlights on the 2013+ LS460. I understand it's not possible without modification on 2007 - 2012 models, but I'm wondering if anything's changed.
Ideally, I would want to run the foglights as "daytime running lights", preferably without modifications.

I am missing something on my 2009 ls460l. I'm trying to turn off my day running lights when driving. Is this full time or am I not looking in the right place.

Lexus LS 2007+ :: Some Instrument Lights Not Working
I have an '07 LS460L and I noticed that at night, I can't see the temp lights, radio lights, or the overhead lights, but I can see the instrument lights and the video screen and the lights around the stick shift. I've tried just about everything I can. I've gotta think it's a control I'm just not seeing.

I have lived with this minor nuisance ever since i owned this car. 2007 ES350 now with over 150k miles on the odometer. I noticed that the low gas indicator would come on too early (along with the gas range indicator showing 0 too early). There is usually about 3 gallons of gas left in the tank when it first appears (on flat surfaced street).
So for this example, the low gas indicator came on after driving for 330 miles from a full tank of gas. By 350 miles the gas range showed 0. i did a total of 369 miles before pulling into the gas station so i know i should have a good amount of range left since i average around 23-24mpg.
After filling it up in the same gas station/pump around my house, i was only able to squeeze in 16 gallons which means there are about 2.5 gallons in the tank. So technically, i could go on for at least another 44 miles before running out of gas.
Not a big deal, is there a way to recalibrate so the low gas indicator = low gas in tank? I don't want to run it down less than 1 gallon but i really only want to know when i am really low in gas. At times, I find myself ignoring the indicators all together which puts me in a situation where i might run out of gas if i push it too long.
Lexus LS 2007+ :: Automatic Lights Won't Turn Off?
Im having problems with my lights not turning off in the evening hours after the lights have been on and I have just turned the car off. I have waited for long period of time and sometimes have to go inside the car and manually turn them off. Has this been a problem?

My parents have a 2007 RX350 and they had the airbag light come on once in a while. I have the car right now so I could figure out the issue for them and get it fixed.
The light wouldn't come on for the first couple days and it off today for a while until I move the seat fully backward and then forward. After I restarted the vehicle the light came on.
I got to work and tried tightening all connectors under the seat and the light did go off and stay off but I didn't drive it after that.
When the light is on it blinks in the 1-second on / 1-second off pattern. When my dad's friend-mechanic checked it out, he said that the description of the code he could read was something like "open [squib] circuit connector", unfortunately, he can't remember.

I have a 2007 LS460L. It hasn't been driven in three or four days. Today we found the car was completely dead. I had to get into the car with the manual key. The battery is one year old. The AAA person found that the light switch was set on parking lights rather than automatic. Could that have drained the battery. I thought that the lights turn off after you leave the car.

I have noticed recently, two times I have turned the car off and the lights stay on.
One time was in the garage and I never lock the doors while parking it in my garage.
They were on for 15 mins after I turned off the car.
Lexus LS 2007+ :: Settings To Control Interior Lights?
When I walk up to my 07 460 at night and the doors are locked, the interior lights come on once it senses my key fob. However, if the doors are unlocked, the interior lights do not come on and I get in the car in the dark and fumble around in the dark getting situated. Is there a setting that controls this so I can change it?

Where is the fog light relay located in the car? I have checked the fuse and the bulb everything is fine but it wont turn on.
1. Fog light fuse still good (even try to switch to new fuse) the fog light wont turn on at all.
2. Check the connection wire everything is in intact.
3. High beam still working fine using the stalk but fog light still not working. Yes, we can only use fog or high beam, but the issue is low beam and fog not even working.
4. Before the Fog light problem, the driver side fog light is blown. So I replace it with the new bulb. Everything is OEM part there are no aftermarket part or HID .
5. This happen about a week after the driver side bulb blown then all sudden the fog just not working at all.
Lexus GS 2006-11 :: 2007 - Fog And City Lights Won't Work
I just picked up a 2007 Lexus GS450h in MM.
I have tried everything that I could up to this point but can not get my fog lights and city lights to work. I have changed the bulbs, checked the fuses and the only other thing that I can think of is the fog light relay. What is the location of the fog light relay on the 3GS, I am almost positive that this is definitely the issue for the fogs and I'm also hopeful that it could be the issue with the city lights.
Also, I've seen that there is a 7.5a fuse in the trunk that is labeled 'RR Fog', I'm pretty sure this is for nonUSDM models but maybe this being the culprit?

I recently purchased a 2013 LS460 and I'm alhaving issues with my lights turning off.
When on Auto.. Lights turn off after pressing the Lock 2x.
When on On position or parking lights position and I press the lock button twice, it will not turn off. I mean it will stay on for a while.
Check the delay headlight setting in the menu options and it's set at 30 seconds.
Took my car back to Lexus and told them my issue I was having...and they still couldn't figure it out.
Lexus LS 2007+ :: Puddle Lights Not Turning On When Key Fob Is In Proximity
Shouldn't the puddle lights turn on when approaching the vehicle with the key fob? They will only come on if i unlock the vehicle with the fob. My lights come on with my 2008 ES350.
