Prius (2010-12) :: Speedometer Suddenly Disappeared
Over the weekend I was driving on the highway....all of a sudden the gas and mileage indicators along with speedometer just disappeared. I am curious what the solution is.

The compass on my car suddenly disappeared, and I need to check if the fuse has blown out. Unfortunately the fuse box diagram in the owners manual does not match up at all with the actual fuse box (had a similar problem previously with the 12volt outlet inside the car).
Which is the correct fuse location? 2006 2.0T .....
Tried calling my local dealer, and they gave me the standard answer: Bring it in and we will take a look at it... I find it ridiculous that they cannot just let me know the fuse location, given that they know that the owners manual is incorrect !!!
Lexus IS 2014+ :: Average Fuel Economy Display Disappeared
A couple weeks ago, the "average fuel economy" display on my 350 F-Sport disappeared - when I'm looking through the different displays, it skips straight from "average speed" to "current fuel consumption". All the other displays are still there, so I'm not sure what caused this. I'm wondering if I'll have to bring it in to the dealership.
Some info about the car: It's a 2014 IS 350 F-Sport with ~6000 miles, and it just had its first service a few weeks ago (shortly before this problem started).
Ford F-150 (2009-2014) :: Gear Display On Right Of Screen Disappeared
The gear display on the right of my screen has disappeared. The display when in "M" works normally. and the transmission seems to work normally. I haven't done a thing to it except drive it. I'll be going in for an oil change in a few weeks but I'd like some input from the group about this.

Fully stock 2011 IS F. This past Friday I had the low engine oil level light come on. I immediately took it to the Lexus dealer Saturday morning. The tech said the engine was 2 quarts low on oil. The dealership offered to top it off for free since my interval had at least another 1500 miles left before a complete oil change. I opted to conduct a complete oil change instead and gladly paid for their services.
I even entered the service bay since the regular tech who works on my F wasn't there that day. I ensured the tech topped off the oil correctly and asked if there was any harm to the engine? He said absolutely not, the sensor did its job! No harm no foul...everything was good until last night...
I daily drive my F and you can say I drive my F hard. It was between 10pm and 11pm the ambient temperature couldn't have been past the lower to mid 80's. When all of a sudden my oil temperature started rising! And rising fast! I immediately let off the gas and began to worry. This has never happened! Not even on my previous F, which was driven in the same manner, and with straight pipes. I've had this F since January but I'm getting the feeling something is wrong and it's killing the joy of driving it freely.
I was in F mode and paddle shifting like I always do every night. I also could have sworn I lost power. I did a search and only ran into the F that was taken to the track, but the thread didn't really answer anything for me. Other than freak me out even more as one owner mentioned his F never goes past 3 bars! After a track session! I'm sure it was for 2008-2010 F as the gauges are different. I drove it conservatively this morning and opened her up a little and everything was fine. I wasn't in F Mode just sport and auto.
Ford F-150 (2009-2014) :: 2013 - AM Radio Volume Goes Up And Down On Its Own
I have a 2013 F150 King Ranch pretty well loaded up. In the last several thousand miles (I have approximately 45,000 miles on it), the AM radio, which I listen to a lot, has the volume go up and down on its own. Very annoying. i took it to the dealer to have it analyzed and fixed and after 3 days, came back and said Ford said to start w replacing antennas (all) @ a tune of approximately $450, WITH NO GUARANTEES! Unbelievable! Then it that didn't work, replace the radio.
Well in reading some forums, it appears this has been going on a long time and it appears that Ford doesn't seem to care. This is the first Ford I've owned and I as a business owner, have owned many, many Chev PU's over the years with no problems. My 2010 Suburban doesn't have this problem w twice the miles.
Lexus IS 2014+ :: Bluetooth Music - Whenever Touch Volume Controls It Always Restarts Song
I've been using Soundcloud (android) to stream music to the car and everything was going well until a couple days ago.
Whenever I touch the volume controls (steering wheel and center console) it always restarts the song that's playing (the volume does change but the song just restarts). Sometimes I inadvertently use the car volume controls and the song just resets!!

Taking this part out of their truck, my speaker is cracking bad at low volume, thinking maybe I can play with the wires some.
Just wondering if there is any clips on this part, before I knock off a six pack and go caveman on it.
Lexus RX 2010-15 :: 2014 RX350 - Increasing Volume Of Door Lock Buzzer Sound?
Is there a way to increase the volume of the buzz sound when locking the door with the remote? It has been bothering me for a while. Every time I lock the door with a remote as I am walking away from the car, I need to listen very carefully for the almost inaudible buzz sound so I am sure the door is locked. I searched in the settings but didn't find where it can be changed.
BTW, it is a 2014 RX350.

I have a 2014 ford F350. Was flood damages, all fixed and running great except a couple of small problems. One is the volume is restricted to 49%.
Supposedly you can turn off mykey in settings with admin key inserted. I have 3 keys, tried them all no my key option.
I have IDS so erased all keys, reprogrammed them, still no mykey option. I read that all newly programmed keys are admin by default, is that correct? if so, how to fix this?
I also have a cloned key programmer, tried that erased all keys, made new ones, still no mykey option in cluster settings. its a new cluster from ford, programmed on installation.
Gen 2 Prius (Audio/Electronics) :: 2008 JBL - Bass Rattling At High Volume
Driving what was my wife's 2008 Prius, and for the most part the sound is adequate but I have a bass rattle in the doors and I'm wondering what's the best way to resolve it.
My source is my iPhone 6 via a Bluetooth add-on, and for the most part it is fine if i leave the iPhone volume level at Max minus 2-3 bars. But if the song is bass heavy and I have the JBL volume high, there is quite a bit of rattling vibration on the door (rattling panels, etc.), on all the doors.
Q: Is this something that can be resolved by adding a sub and rolling off the bass for the JBL speakers? Or does resolving it require more a sound deadening at the doors?

No symptoms, or noises. Suddenly my '14 SFS 2.0T AWD stopped producing AC and heat. The fan works, though.
I'm suspecting a fuse has blown.

Worked fine yesterday, today no dice. I was hoping it might be a fuse or something cheap and easy as opposed to a compressor or sensor failure (55k miles, so out of warranty). VW, of course, stopped including fuse box diagrams, but I found a couple on this site and in other places, and no joy after checking relevant fuses and pushing on the rest to be sure they're firmly seated ..

I was wondering why is it when I am going to get gas (full tank) while pumping, it will suddenly stop around half tank? And i know its half tank because i can see how much gallons its taken in. Is there a certain way of putting the handle in? So far its happened twice and its really annoying. Any reasons why it does that? Also does it on my dads toyota sequioa at times...

Initially my compass and all convenience features disappeared a few weeks back. They dealer can't seem to figure out how to bring it back. The did get my compass back though. It may sound insignificant but three features are now gone that I like. I shut off the horn beep when locking the car, one push on the keyless entry unlocked all four doors and when I shut the car off all four doors unlocked. These are now gone.

Recently had the car in the dealership for the OY Recall (software). Now, my compass has disappeared and it is not in the MFD Setup? I have tried searching but have come up with no results. Dealership said it the compass module is installed in the trunk near the passenger rear storage compartment and to clear out the trunk if it is overloaded-nothing is in my trunk.

'01 Prius with ~276K miles on it. (Not quite as old as it sounds...new traction battery at ~140K miles, basically new engine ~50K miles ago) The last month or two it has been driving great, getting above 50 mpg in the summer here in NC. However, every now and then I will notice while driving that the car will "catch," feel like something is causing it to decelerate for 2-3 seconds, feels like it kicks completely to the traction battery, and then I will accelerate and knock it out of whatever it was doing.
Well, this morning as I was driving, same thing -- maybe a second or two longer -- and the red triangle/warning light comes on out of nowhere. I drive it a couple of more miles, but it didn't feel like it was driving normally so I parked it. The person who I was going to meet come to where I was and the car sat there for about 7 hours.
As every worst possible scenario is going through my head during this time I am planning to tow the car somewhere (probably Taylor Automotive in Sanford, NC, a little more than an hour away from me), I get back to the car, turn it on and everything is normal. I was able to drive it about 15 miles back home and now I need to figure out my next move.
I would like to think it is a 12v battery issue -- not been changed in 6 years. It is giving some clues like last night when I shut the driver side door, normally the interior light should stay on a few seconds before cutting off, instead it cut off immediately...door locks are acting funny...anything that may drain the battery a little bit will cause a delay in the car starting the next time you turn the key.
I also wonder if it is an inverter issue. On our way to the beach a month ago when I pulled the car off the interstate for a break, left the car on and while the engine shut off I still heard a noise from the hood. Opened the hood and I believe the inverter was still running full blast. Never seen that before, nor again.
Passat (B6) :: Without Any Warnings, Sound Disappeared Completely
I own 2006 vw passat 2.0T with 10-speaker dynaudio system. One day my sound disappeared completely, without any warnings. I found an amp 3C0-035-456-A under the driver seat. I tried to bypass amplifier directly to one of the speaker (midrange). the sound came on in that speaker. Which makes me believe that my amp died. On the other hand i checked the fuses and even voltages. Green connector to amp gets 3 rails 9 of voltage supply. Each of them measured as 2.8V, which doesn't add up to 12V no how.( so maybe its a voltage problem i'm not sure).
