Camry 2012+ :: XLE V6 / Beeping Sound When Turning Off Car?
I have a XLE V6 with smart key. Some times when I turn the car off the car beeps at me. Sometimes it does not.

I know there is an Option to adjust the beeping sound when Lock or Unlock Doors (I tried that already). But Is that possible to make the Beeping sound really loud..I mean loud like honking the Horn. Know what I'm talking about?
On the 2001 Nissan Xterra, when I Lock the door ..sound like the horn.
Toyota - Camry :: Grinding Sound When Turning Light
I recently accidentally drove my Camry into curb in a parking lot. It was only a light, but since then I've noticed a grinding sound ONLY when turning right. Everything else seems fine. I looked under the car and saw the black plastic casing under the car is cracked and it looks like it might be grinding against the left tire, which could cause that noise. I've also heard it could be a bearing, but would that suddenly happen immediately after an encounter with a curb?
I do plan on taking it to the shop, but I have to wait at least a week until I get paid. I'm guessing that should be okay.
Camry :: 2009 - Clunking Sound When Turning Steering Wheel
So my 09' Camry now has 130K KMs on it and for the last few months I've had an issue where when I turn the steering wheel (at rest and while moving) there is a clunking sound and feel in the steering wheel at various spots in the steering wheel rotation.
I'm worried the u-joints (if it uses them) in the steering column are worn out and might need replacing/lubricating but I'm not sure how to address the issue without an expensive Out of warranty visit to the dealer.
Camry :: 2009 - Metal Rubbing Sound When Turning Left
I have a 2009 Camry that makes a metal to metal rubbing noise when turning left. t is coming from the Front Right passenger side. I recently changed out the bearing and hub on the front right but I still have the noise when turning left. Also, when driving normally and going straight there seems to be somewhat of a dull click click click noise.

Recently, when turning while the car is in reverse, I started noticing a popping sound coming from the area near my right front tire. Now, when I accelerate quickly from a dead stop or drive away after being stopped on a hill, I'm hearing that same popping/clunk noise from the right front tire. When I'm stopped at a light and then take my foot off the brake, wait a second, and then gently accelerate, I don't hear it. I've had a couple of mechanics take a look at the cv boot for the right front tire, but they tell me that it's not cracked or broken. Is it possible that the cv joint has gone bad, but the boot is not broken? Or, is there something else going on?

i have a 2009 Camry LE. I got it (used with 43.000 miles in February 2011) i've noticed a clicking sound when i am turning the wheel in either direction half way or more. The clicking speeds up as the car does and slows as the car slows. It's more noticeable at low speeds. I've read about the ABS clicking when the car is started but the noise is not present unless turning.

I returned from my 2nd Deployment on the 5th of July and noticed I had no (what I thought to be) brake fluid. SO i bought some DOT 3 and filled it. A month later(2 days ago ish) I re-filled again with DOT 3. As I put the cap back on I noticed it said power steering... So I found the guide here and flushed the power steering completely. I thought that maybe the brake fluid had just been squeezed out of the lines somehow but I was wrong. Sitting, the car drips power steering fluid. A resevoir every 12 or so hours. I looked at it and found that it is not coming from the resevoir or lines or from the pump area. Instead it is coming from what I assume is called the boot? It is on the driver side. Where the half shaft comes out from the tranny there is another smaller piston arm looking thing that is hooked up to the power steering system and from there it is just dripping out. And the fluid on the actual arm or w/e it is called.
Issue # 2: Anytime I turn the wheel all the way left or right I hear a pop from that side of the car to which I turn. Any others have this as well? Or could these two issues be related?
Camry :: 2009 - Clicking Sound When Turning / Front Drive Axle
I have the dreaded click-click-click noise when turning that is indicative of my CV joint going tits up. Checking it out the boot is split and there is some grease. So, I plan on going ahead and changing both sides drive axles out, since the Camry has 178k on it (yeah, 178k on a 2009.)

I have a 2007 Prius which now has 164,000 miles on it. Never had ANY issues. Just this past week, I was riding with my husband driving, and when he downshifts into "B" gear and turns to the left, the triangle of death flashes on the screen, a loud beeping occurs, and on the top of the main info screen the word "Problem" appears. I want to make an appointment to take it to my dealer, but they aren't too sharp and might tell me I'm nuts. I'm not.

On my 2012 Camry XLE with 22,500 miles, just had the drivers side drive shaft assembly replaced, under warranty. Was getting a clicking sound when turning. Not too happy, car comes off warranty in September. They also updated computer on a recall for the torque shutter.
Then he tells me I need an oil change (was just done, oil shiny clean). He said oil looked dirty. Also said I needed a fuel injection cleaning (at 22.5k?), and new tires. OEM tires are garbage. Wheres the Toyota quality and integrity?

When I was reversing back and turning the steering wheel. I heard a metal clunk sound and it had happened twice in the past two days. Today happened after I released the parking brake and set it to reverse. What is the problem? Miles on the car is ~30700 miles.

MY 2004 Prius is acting strange and wont start this morning. When I opened the door I got a beeping sound similar to the sound when you walk away with the key while the car is on. When I pressed power, the power seemed to only partially come on, the screen did not power on, and every warning light is on including the red triangle !. The car would not activate past that stage.

This morning I started my car in 27 degree weather. I let it warm up a few minutes like I always do, and within a minute a beep sound occurred. The beep happened every sixty seconds. There was no warning light on the dash except for the temperature light that goes on when the air is below 37. I turned the power off, got out of the car, walked around it, tires look OK, no fluids on the ground. Odd. After driving for about 20 minutes the beep-a-minute stopped. By that point the temperature had gone up to about 35 degrees. When I got back in the car many hours later to come home, no beeping. The beep is a slightly higher pitch than the seatbelt beep and happened only once every sixty seconds.

My monsoon radio is beeping on my 2011.5 VW Passat. As soon as I turn the radio on the is a beeping sound. About 1 beep/second. Only beeps when radio is on. This is heard over the radio stations (ie. I can still hear the radio "behind" the beeping sound). This will start when I try to put a FM station in memory, turn the volume all the way down or when the battery dies. The radio is otherwise functioning normally (no SAFE being displayed). The beeping usually eventually goes away after several days to a week.

I have a 1999 vw passat and i have the abs light on all the time ( was told its the abs module)? Brake light flashing too but i am really only concerned about the beeping sound i get 80% of the time after i come to a stop and accelerate then oil pressure light comes on and it beeps 3 times and goes away til i stop again?????
