Dental Abscess :: Adjacent Tooth Decay Caused By Wisdom Tooth
If you check the x ray (where i circled in red), I have a tooth decay because of wisdom teeth coming close to my last tooth. My options are to do a root canal on the decayed tooth and eventually get the wisdom tooth removed OR get the decayed tooth removed and let the wisdom teeth occupy its place.
And my wisdom teeth is partially erupted, so it is not out fully.
I have asked around for a few suggestions and everyone is suggesting to go for option 2 which is removed the decayed tooth and let wisdom tooth partially take its place.
Can anyone suggest if that is a good option. As you can see all my teeth are healthy and I just had bad luck with the wisdom tooth coming at an angle!
Autoimmune Disease? Tooth Decay / Lots Of Cavities
I'm a 24 year old female. I've been trying to figure out what is wrong with me for years. Two doctors, and two dentists, suggested that I may have an autoimmune disease, but I've had no diagnosis. I am wondering what autoimmune disease in particular this might be closest to. I've had these symptoms for a long time:
- Mild arthritis in right hand (since 17 years old) - maybe once a year, my fingers unexpectedly become swollen and arthritic, and then it goes away after a few weeks. It was most severe a few years ago, when my fingers became very swollen, hot, itchy and red, but it eventually calmed down and has not since returned with the same severity. My fingers in this hand are tilted towards the side, the joints have bended a little a bit sideways. Both of my hands and fingers are always very cold.
- Chronic fatigue
- A skin rash, cluster of small red bumps, that comes and goes on the side of legs. Also get random isolated red bumps throughout the body.
- Underweight and can't easily gain, though this might be genetic. I've always been underweight.
- Hair loss (began at age 18)
- Brain fog
- Vision getting blurrier / sensitive to light
- Eyes sore and red especially in the morning
- Poor looking skin
- Chronic sinusitis for the past 3 years. No cure or known cause (allergies were ruled out) - the sinusitis and red eyes clear up on steroids and antibiotics, but come back afterwards. So possibly a bacterial cause.
- Low blood pressure, low body temperature (96.5 - 97.5 on average)
- Tooth decay. I've had a lot of tooth cavities since I was a teen. I often wonder if tooth decay is the underlying cause of all of my problems. I've had many fillings and a root canal, but continue to have seemingly never ending problems with my teeth. My oral hygiene habits are extremely thorough though, and I try my best to prevent the cavities. I do everything I can to keep my mouth and teeth clean; electric toothbrush, brushing, flossing, special mouthwash, special toothpastes, etc.
I eat a relatively healthy diet and take vitamins and nutritional supplements. I've been experimenting to find the best diet to cope with this..whatever it is. I notice my health and energy levels are very dependent on how well I eat. If I eat junk food, or even the standard American diet, I feel very ill, exhausted and can't function. I can't have "treats" like a cookie or brownie, doing so could make me feel miserable for the next 24 hours. I keep myself semi-functioning by eating as simple and clean of a diet as possible, and consuming a lot of fruit and vegetables every day, along with tea and coffee.
My top two suspicions are that this is all a manifestation of tooth bacteria, or Celiac disease. Or maybe both. Most dentists don't believe that tooth bacteria would cause such an elaborate array of health problems, but I think it might be possible. I've heard of meningitis and heart disease caused by tooth decay. All of my symptoms started after I started to get severe tooth cavities, it was after having a root canal when I began to have severe hair falling out, and from then on my health went downhill. I had a blood test for celiac by a gastrointestinal doctor and they told me the results were negative. I never had an intestinal biopsy.

I did a dumbest thing in my life - I am from canada. I went to a massage parlor. I did cunnilingus for a max of 2 mins on masseuse vagina. And received a protected blow job. I also deep french kissed her. No sex of any kind.
Symptoms: After 4 weeks since that incident
I have lymph nodes (total 7) around my neck, 1 occipital node on left side (app 1 cm) and 2 on each sides of neck, 3 in front of neck and 1 on right back near spinal cord. All less than 1 cm.
Had mild sore throat few days ago not now. I don't think I have fever.
Had 2 canker sore. Headache couple of time.
Rashes on my neck and chest (on chest itchy)
Yesterday night sweats.
I am not sure if had any cuts or sore on my lips or mouth.
Can anyone please answer these questions.
1) what is the risk of hiv based on my exposure with tongue usage and sores in my mouth?
2) How big does lymph nodes swell in ars? Is it normal to have them around 29 days?
3) which part of neck does hiv lymph nodes swell? Along with front of my neck in regions 1a, 1b, 5 and 6 I have posterior cervical lymph node.
4) some say cunnilingus has caused hiv in few cases
Some say it has never definitely associated with hiv infection
Which of these 2 is true? I am confused. Even ID specialist have 2 opinions
5) protected blow job and deep french kissing I assume of no risk?

View 2 RepliesHerpes :: Possibility With Cunnilingus And Fellatio
I am 23yo hetero male living in Jakarta, Indonesia. I had a single protected vaginal and unprotected oral (cunnilingus and fellatio) with a 19yo with unknown status and she decided to block me totally when I inquire about her STD status, so we have no contact absolutely by now.
Day 0- protected vaginal, unprotected oral, and I 'stayed' on top of her fully naked for quite a while after we bathe
Day 14- I noticed a small pimple like thing on my penis, just below the 'ring', it hurt when I masturbated with my hand, I popped it out and blood came out, and it fully healed and within 2 days i have to pain at all
Day 15- I have sudden pain occurring inside my penis, sometimes so sudden, I involuntary move my body, this also happens to my testicles-- sudden pain and dull pain. Both of it stayed nonstop till today
Day 25- Pain in testicles and penis has not stopped (I have no discharge or I might have missed it?)
Day 26- Went for an STD check for
-HSV 1 IGG
-HSV 1 IGM (i know hsv igm is unreliable, but still tested for it)
-HSV 2 IGG
-HSV 2 IGM (i know hsv igm is unreliable, but still tested for it)
-HIV
-Chlamydia IGG (i know that blood test for chlamydia is unreliable but it is the only test available in my country, I have to fly to Singapore for a urine test)
-Chlamydia IGM
-VDRL
-TPHA
- I also did a normal urine test and everything was normal
ALL test came negative except chlamydia IGM which shows borderline. ( I have never had chlamydia in my life before, and this is only my second sexual encounter in my life). Upon knowing that I had borderline test, I immediately took 1gr of azythromycin, waited for a week, no improvement. Tried 6x500gr azy for 6 days, still no improvement.
Day 40- Noticed a pimple like bump of the side of my scrotum, bordering the scrotum and pubic region, popped it out, blood came out and it completely healed and does not hurt at all, all within 2 days
Day 42- I still have the same pain I had in day 14 (sharp pain in penis and testicles, nonstop, throughout the day), Decided to conduct another same set of STD test and all came negative except for the chlamydia igm, which, again, showed borderline.
I am really extremely depressed right now, I can't work, I can't function properly. I am really afraid of HSV 2, which In probably have, the only thing quite assuring for me right now is that dr. Hunter once state that at 6 weeks HSV is detected at around 80-90%.
I am now in a believe that I am 'immune' to azithromycin and currently on day 1 of 7 of levofloxacin and hoping it would get better.
I have visited skin and genital dr and also a urologist, in between all 43 days and both gave vague comments and suggested I do another STD test
I am extremely anxious right now, what do you think is the best solution?

View 5 RepliesCannabis Addiction :: Why Should A Successful Person Quit Smoking Pot?
I'm a 30 year old single guy. According to social criteria I'm a successful person. I have a PhD degree in engineering from a university which is always in top 30 in the world. I started my professional job 20 months ago and during this period I have got two promotions and now I'm a manager. I have lots of friends and people enjoy being around me. I have a very good relationship with my parent and sister. I speak 3 languages and now working on the 4th one. I have traveled a lot and can socialize with anyone from any country on any subject. Financially I'm doing OK but not amazing. I work out 3 times a week and have a athletic body. I'm very energetic and I have told that I'm hyperactive.
I started smoking pot when I was 26 and since then I've been smoking from once to 4 times a week. The weed has really changed my life because since I have been a smoker, my brains works much better and I'm much more concentrated. I can solve more complicated problems and understand engineering facts much better. When I'm high, I always come up with brilliant ideas which motivates me and drives me in life. I'm more artistic when I'm high and enjoy the music to the end.
The only down part of my life is that I haven't had a girlfriend past 3 years. I have dated lots lots of girls but find them either ugly or not bright.
Since 6 months ago I came up with the idea of quitting smoking weed but I'm unable to do that. I have no good reason or no motivation of doing it. I think maybe by being high in past 4 years I have built a fantasy world that not most of the people can understand and enter and that's why I don't have a girlfriend.
Today I came up with the idea of going to a rehab center but then I though if I don't convince myself that I have to quick, if I don't have enough reasons then I will never quit. So I thought to share my story with people and see if they can give me some reasons to quit.

My question is can I trigger an outbreak by kissing her with an active sore? Or is it "safe"?

View 1 RepliesTooth Abscess Not Visible On X-ray?
My dentist took an x-ray of my mouth and found no sign of a tooth abscess, even though when she drilled the infected tooth (which had a filling), there was a foul smell, indicating an abscessed tooth.
There is also a swelling below my left jaw, and it is difficult to swallow and open my mouth.
The dentist didn't explain much regarding why the x-Ray didn't reflect the tooth abscess. When we asked about the swelling in my jaw, she answered (rather uncertainly) maybe, it was because of trauma?
Dental Health :: Gum Inflammation Around Tooth
I am 33-year old healthy woman with an extreme fear of the dentist. A few months ago, I had a horrible toothache that resulted in a root canal and crown. I have a temporary crown right now and go in for my permanent crown tomorrow. About a week ago, I started having some pain on the side that I have had a root canal on and have a temporary crown. My dentist was on vacation, but I was able to get in with another area dentist. He said he saw nothing wrong other than possibly cement or something stuck between my crown and gums. He removed whatever it was he saw. That was over a week ago. Yesterday, my gums on the inside of my teeth (not the cheek side) felt like I had burned the roof of my mouth. I tried to look with a mirror and the gums around the tooth in front of the crown look red. They are a tiny bit sore and seemed to get irritated if I eat anything salty of drink anything carbonated. I flossed and rinsed with mouthwash. I had my husband look and he said the gums are not swollen and there is no pimple like sore. He said the gums are just red. I am in complete freak-out mode. If I had an abscess, wouldn't things be getting worse instead of better?
