Toyota - Rav4 :: 2006 - Airbag Didn't Deploy
A few years ago I bought a used 2006 Toyota Rav4. I was rear ended in 2010 and my air bag did not deploy. Only damage was to back bumper. Yesterday I was again rear ended. I am guessing the only problem will be a damaged bumper, but once again the air bag did not deploy. This time I had an elderly couple in my car and both said the impact was hard enough that my air bags should have deployed. No one was hurt. How much force does it take to make the air bags deploy? Should I be concerned? If so, can the body shop check my air bags or do I need to go to the dealer for that?

So I am not sure if this is coincidence or not but... I just got done adding new stuff to my stereo in my 2006 Corolla Xrs. In the process the SRS light came on for the airbags. I took it to the dealer and was told it was the seat belt pretentioner. The dealer told me to check and make sure I did not hit any of the wiring when adding my stuff. I checked no wires or anything were cut that I can see. So, How do I fix this and what exactly does the seat belt pretentioner do?

I bought a 2011 F350 that was in a collision. I have done collision repair before but I have not had to deal with air bags... Both driver wheel and passenger bags deployed. I see some for sale on EBAY for around 300 used....do I just by them and install them? Is there a reset or something else I have to do? I see some sell them with the controller as well...do I need that?

I have a 2012 F250 King Ranch with the FX4 package. I have a goose neck ball and have recently bought a 37' fifth wheel. The rear of my truck sits a touch lower than the front and anytime I'm hooked to a trailer it looks to be squatted way down. It actually is dropping maybe 3". I am looking to replace the shocks which are Rancho's as I have 55k miles on. I'm wondering about shock types, air bags, springs??? Just don't know what my best option is.

I have a 1991 f250 that used to have a camper on it, I recently got this truck and when I put an older heavy camper on it the back springs flattened out and the front raised about an inch or two.
My question is...I am going to put air bags on this truck to alleviate this problem, should I replace the springs as well or will the air bags be sufficient to handle a camper?
Ford - F250 :: Airbag Did Not Deploy?
My husband rolled his F250 in the northeast winter storm yesterday. (Broken leg, concussion but ok!!) The air bags didn't deploy. He hit a tree impacting the front driver's side, hard. Shouldn't the air bags have deployed? Neither did. He had the engine replaced about 6 months ago by our mechanic. Would replacing an engine also include having to touch the air bag system? Don't want to ruin my mechanic's day. Just want to know why they didn't deploy and if it was a manufacturer defect or the result of having had the engine replaced and maybe something not being re-connected. New engine: 5.4ltr Jasper.

I was on my way to the doctors office while my car acted up on the highway. My Brakes deployed randomly while going 60mph, along with my AC stopping and a 3-5 of warning lights going off (in a panic state that I can't remember what lights, with the exception of the break light). This happened for 5-10 second then the car drove fine, never stalled or turned off. Not really sure what could cause this.

I have a new 2016 Toyota Camry XLE V6 with all available options. I have been disappointed with the Lane Departure feature. In this colder weather in the morning when you start the car it seems like the windshield inside the enclosure above the rear view mirror clouds up because of the difference in temperature inside and out and the Lane Departure is unavailable. Is this normal anyway?? Is the enclosure above the rear view mirror sealed air tight or not? I drove 3 hours yesterday before the sun apparently dissipated the fog in the enclosure and the Lane Departure came on.

I have a 07 toyota avalon that will not start. About a week ago my wife goes to start the car and nothing. She got a jump and it worked fine for a couple of days. Then she was driving on Oct 25th and the car died out, so due to the battery being less than 6 months old the next step was the alternator. Had the alternator tested and it had to be replaced. We replaced it and it still will not turn on.

I recently bought a 2005 Toyota Avalon Xls with 90k miles on it. The car has been averaging a very disappointing mpg of 11-12 in the city and around 17 on the highway. (much lower than the advertised 22/30 mpg)
At first i thought the mpg gauge could be malfunctioning, so i calculated it myself and ended up with same result: 11 mpg in the city. I haven't taken it to a mechanic yet, but plan on doing so ASAP. What could be causing this issue.
Toyota - Avalon :: Shakes During Acceleration
This started pretty recently and i am hoping is won't cost too much to fix. If I drive the car for about 10 - 20 minutes it doesn't have a problem but past that it will start to shake during acceleration. I took the car to fire stone and was told that the axles and struts had gone bad and have replaced the axles. The problem is still there and i don't want to put too much money into the car if I might have to do some major repairs. The car has nearly 170,000 miles to date.
