Lexus GS 2006-11 :: Vais IVIC - Navigation Disc Keep Showing Wrong Place
Just installed the Vaistech iVic unit yesterday and everything seemed to function fine, but noticed once I started driving today that my Navigation unit was off. It still operated and tracked movement OK, only the maps were about 10 minutes away from where I was actually located.
I've turned off the car several times since, and also took out the Navigation disc and re-installed but it keeps putting me in the same wrong place, This all happens in the normal standard Lexus modes.
Passat (B6) :: Navigation Not Showing Correct Vehicle Location
I got this problem that just seems to have surfaced within the past week. The first time I noticed, I started the car and the navigation showed my position about 12 miles away in the next town over. Now its been doing the same thing nearly every time I start up the navigation. I can correct it sometimes by going into settings/position on map and manually moving the cursor to my correct location. I say sometimes it works, because 50% of the time I can move the cursor to the position I'm at and it will then work just fine but other times the nav will have my heading completely wrong (I'm going north, but nav has me going south) and it will not correct. Sometimes it will just slowly drift off my real position and eventually it won't even be on a road anymore.
Tonight, no matter how many times I tried to correct the nav by moving the cursor, it kept my heading well off of where it should be, practically 180 degrees from the way I was actually going. So as soon as I started moving again the maps would be totally off.

I have all functions turned on inside menu options. I have Sirius xm subscription and they told me it's not a service they provide for Lexus. So I'm thinking its a service from Lexus, is this true ?

We just purchased seemingly well cared for 2009 Avalon XLS. Navigation system is showing a DVD error (unable to read). First we thought it was missing the DVD then we discovered the DVD port in the truck and through some trial and error got the DVD (#U52) out. We are proceeding with the logic that the DVD is bad.

My navigation traffic stopped showing before it would've showed on freeways mainly orange line if slow traffic and red line if heavy traffic or green if no traffic. No lines what so ever noticed this been few weeks its not showing even when I am in heavy traffic, I also checked the option is turned on to show traffic. I recently got a 2014 Lexus GS F-Sport, fully loaded. I made a dumb mistake of taking my car in to a shop to have my roof vinyl'd black. And so, they also had to blackout the shark fin antenna on top. They recommended painting it metallic black as it wouldn't have looked good wrapped. So I agreed without knowing. After painting and taking the car home, I noticed the Navigation was off and my GPS was showing me going in a completely different direction. I have calibrated it so many times and it stays on course with me for about one block then starts going off into a different direction on its own. Will removing the paint fix this? Is this something the Dealer has to handle, and if so, charge me for it?

Gal Pal of mine put the wrong key into the ignition. I was in the middle of no-where when this happened. $600 tow and it's in Gunnison, CO. The "tumbler" is toast. I cant even get the key in the ignition.
I'm sure I will need to buy a new ignition, My question is... does VW offer a new ignition with a programed key, and if they do, is this something I can install myself.
I'm looking at $1000 to have it towed, and I cant be without my "egg".
Prius V :: GPS Not Showing Proper Location
Problem with GPS not showing your proper location. I did get window tinting done but with a film that is not suppose to interfere. Also got a clean air sticker I installed on my windshield up by the rearview mirror. This lets you drive in the hov lanes in UT with only one person in the car. Couple of questions, where is the gps antenna and how can I check the signal strength? couldn't find it in the manual. Also, the car is 3 months old and this problem just started recently.

Vehicle: 2009 Toyota Prius Base ... Recently my car started showing the master warning light along with the temp warning light on the navigation screen. After opening the hood and inspecting, there is a coolant leaking from somewhere. Took it to the dealer and was told there is no leak but a bad/blocked coolant tank assembly. Question is, if I bought the tank myself for under $1k, could I replace it myself? What would be involved besides replacing coolant? Do I need to get the air out of the lines? Etc.

Was having problems with trailer wiring blowing a fuse so I pulled a fuse, the wrong fuse, out while it was running and the whole rig died. Key was locked in the ignition. Window down, ect.. The dash lights and radio works that's about all. vagcom will not hookup because I can't turn the ignition on. The alarm goes off if I open any door......

I have a 2004 VW Phaeton.
Today, the sound system failed, then shortly after, the navigation system failed.
On the console, if I press any map/navigation buttons, the error message "Navigation System Unavailable" is displayed.
If I press an audio related button, the error message "DSP system is unavailable". I took it to a private vw repair shop and a vw dealer. What was causing the issue.
I am now headed to a vw dealer with certified phaeton tech. I looked towards fuse issue, but they appear to be ok..
