Passat (B6) :: Navigation Not Showing Correct Vehicle Location
I got this problem that just seems to have surfaced within the past week. The first time I noticed, I started the car and the navigation showed my position about 12 miles away in the next town over. Now its been doing the same thing nearly every time I start up the navigation. I can correct it sometimes by going into settings/position on map and manually moving the cursor to my correct location. I say sometimes it works, because 50% of the time I can move the cursor to the position I'm at and it will then work just fine but other times the nav will have my heading completely wrong (I'm going north, but nav has me going south) and it will not correct. Sometimes it will just slowly drift off my real position and eventually it won't even be on a road anymore.
Tonight, no matter how many times I tried to correct the nav by moving the cursor, it kept my heading well off of where it should be, practically 180 degrees from the way I was actually going. So as soon as I started moving again the maps would be totally off.

My Nav system was working okay (the Treg is only 2 weeks old), and yesterday it kept showing me in the wrong location. The sky was heavily clouded and we were having heavy rain. Does the weather affect the system's ability to function properly? Do you need to calibrate it or is there a way to reset it?

Vehicle: 2009 Toyota Prius Base ... Recently my car started showing the master warning light along with the temp warning light on the navigation screen. After opening the hood and inspecting, there is a coolant leaking from somewhere. Took it to the dealer and was told there is no leak but a bad/blocked coolant tank assembly. Question is, if I bought the tank myself for under $1k, could I replace it myself? What would be involved besides replacing coolant? Do I need to get the air out of the lines? Etc.

Problem with GPS not showing your proper location. I did get window tinting done but with a film that is not suppose to interfere. Also got a clean air sticker I installed on my windshield up by the rearview mirror. This lets you drive in the hov lanes in UT with only one person in the car. Couple of questions, where is the gps antenna and how can I check the signal strength? couldn't find it in the manual. Also, the car is 3 months old and this problem just started recently.

The shifter goes into the incorrect gear for what is showing on the dash.
For example:
A little left of Park = Park
Park=Reverse
Reverse/Neutral/Drive = Neutral
A little right (almost gear 2) of Drive = Drive
Once I have found the gear and the shifter is set, the handle has enough play in it that allows it to rest over the correct slot.
It started after I put the car into neutral from drive without pulling the handle back but instead just pushing it to the left. When I went to put it back into drive, it was still in neutral.

I have all functions turned on inside menu options. I have Sirius xm subscription and they told me it's not a service they provide for Lexus. So I'm thinking its a service from Lexus, is this true ?

We just purchased seemingly well cared for 2009 Avalon XLS. Navigation system is showing a DVD error (unable to read). First we thought it was missing the DVD then we discovered the DVD port in the truck and through some trial and error got the DVD (#U52) out. We are proceeding with the logic that the DVD is bad.

My navigation traffic stopped showing before it would've showed on freeways mainly orange line if slow traffic and red line if heavy traffic or green if no traffic. No lines what so ever noticed this been few weeks its not showing even when I am in heavy traffic, I also checked the option is turned on to show traffic. I have a 2013 RX with the 'latest' navigation update. My 'home' icon for a while was a red circular looking thing. But without me doing anything, for a while I got/had a 'house' icon showing for my 'home' point on the map. It has since disappeared. I recently got a 2014 Lexus GS F-Sport, fully loaded. I made a dumb mistake of taking my car in to a shop to have my roof vinyl'd black. And so, they also had to blackout the shark fin antenna on top. They recommended painting it metallic black as it wouldn't have looked good wrapped. So I agreed without knowing. After painting and taking the car home, I noticed the Navigation was off and my GPS was showing me going in a completely different direction. I have calibrated it so many times and it stays on course with me for about one block then starts going off into a different direction on its own. Will removing the paint fix this? Is this something the Dealer has to handle, and if so, charge me for it?

Avalon 2005-12 :: 2011 - Audio Screen Stay On Instead Of Showing Navigation Map?
Is there a simple way to stay on the Audio screen instead of showing the Navigation map? If I hit Audio it ends up going to the nav map after about 10 seconds. I don't want to turn off the screen completely.

Just installed the Vaistech iVic unit yesterday and everything seemed to function fine, but noticed once I started driving today that my Navigation unit was off. It still operated and tracked movement OK, only the maps were about 10 minutes away from where I was actually located.
I've turned off the car several times since, and also took out the Navigation disc and re-installed but it keeps putting me in the same wrong place, This all happens in the normal standard Lexus modes.

I have got Prius 2004. I have got a problem. With MFD. It's showing the screen where it should show that the battery is charging but it's not showing the charging at all. Car is running fine and starts as normal. I have changed the 12V battery but it's still not showing the charging.

I left the house and parked on a hill parking lot, drivers side lower than the passenger. When I left, I was driving around and noticed the gas gauge, which had been at half full, was now showing full. I thought if I shut off the car, that might reset everything. It didn't. Anything I can do to fix this? Top the tank and see if that won't fix it? Or take it in? It sounds like a stuck sensor.

I picked up my new to me 2008 Touring Prius last night from the dealership (Mazda not Toyota)- happy to see the tank looked full. I started and stopped the car on two errands after picking up the car, and the gas tank still showed full.
This morning the car would not start after the first attempt, after the second all the lights came on including the red triangle, and on the third attempt the car started but the last pip is flashing.

My 2005 prius is showing POA93 code. Is this always an inverter coolant pump or can this be caused by other issues?

Had a company install fog lights on my replacement 2007 Prius I picked up after I totaled my 2008. When i went to pick the car up, the car wouldn't start. Showed the triangle of death and threw a code that the 12v was bad. Probably from having the car off and testing the fog lights continually - resulted in a drained battery. I picked up a brand new yellow top optima battery and thought this would resolve my issues. Nope, once the batter was replaced, the car wouldn't go into Drive or Reverse, only park or neutral. The current code is P0A0D. The shop is baffled. They removed all modified parts and still can't figure out the issue. They are currently replacing the interlock plug in hopes that this will resolve the issue.
