I have a 2001 passat that i have had for about 2 months. recently, about 2 weeks ago, i started having problems with the remote unlock feature. it will unlock the driver side door fine, but when i press the unlock button twice, the driver side lock makes a noise but the other three doors remain locked. when i press the unlock toggle on the driver side controls with the window controls, all the doors unlock fine. i have two remotes, one is pretty new and i just got it programmed (within a month) and neither one will unlock all the doors.all the other functions of the remote work fine.

I've had this Tiguan for almost a month and 3 times now I've went to unlock the doors with the key fob and it won't do anything. It doesn't flash or make any noise if I press lock or unlock. I have to remove the cover on the door lock and unlock the doors with the key. It still doesn't recognize the key fob. After I drive around for about 10 minutes it starts working again. I've tried using both key fobs and neither one will unlock it when this happens. It's a 2010 with 9k miles on it.

Phaeton :: Can't Use The Keyless Feature To Lock / Unlock - Immobilizer?
On Friday, all of a sudden I found that I could not use the keyless feature to lock/unlock my car anymore, and when I tried to start the car with the push button, it showed "key not found" "immobilizer activated". By that time, i still could use the remote key to lock and unlock the car, and start up the car with the key blade. After I drove and parked the car, I went to get a new battery for my key because I thought my battery was giving me the trouble. Then I went back to the car, I was still able to lock and unlock the car with the remote buttons, but I cannot start up the car, even with the key blade. So I disconnected both battery, waited and reconnected them, the car is able to start with the key blade, but can no longer lock and unlock with the remote buttons. So I can only lock the car manually now.
Later, I scanned the car, found there are 2 faults. One is an old fault, which is "the antenna in rear bumper has no signal intermittently", and the new fault is "luggage compartment start/access authorization antenna upper limit exceeded", and gave me a time that this occurred, which is exactly when I first found the keyless entry didn't work on Friday.

I did a search and read the manual but I can't seem to figure it out. Is there a way to unlock all of the doors by pushing the unlock button on the key fob once? I see in the manual it can be done I think by turning "remote 2 - press unlock" on in the car settings but it doesn't seem to work. Also am I reading correctly that there are no door unlock sensors on the rear doors? With my LS and my old IS I could touch the rear doors and all of the doors would unlock but this can't be done on the GX?

I recently purchased a 2006 Ford F-150 XLT and don't know very much about it, nor Fords in general. I was just wondering if there is any way to have the power doors unlock automatically when I shift into Park or turn the ignition off? It has the option to have the doors automatically lock once I reach 5-10 mph, but I can't find any information about programming it to unlock automatically. It doesn't have the programmable computer display, so everything requires pressing a bunch of buttons when the key is turned on accessory and things like that. I have kids who are always in the back seats, and it gets annoying trying to get them out of the truck when it's off and I forget to manually unlock them.

After going through a car wash my Prius has started locking all doors when I start the car and unlocking driver's and passenger front doors when I turn it off. Kind of wondering how this could happen, but since I like it that way I don't really want to change it back. Is there a way to disable to auto lock on these cars? When I put my car in park it unlocks it for me. Locking it is kinda cool, but not unlocking it. I had a situation a few days ago where I was sitting in a parking lot waiting for my girlfriend to get out of the store when a guy opened my door and tried to get in. He realized that he opened the wrong car door. I really do not want this type of situation to happen again due to the fact that I carry every single day. I'm a long-time VAG-COM user, and have performed this operation on a couple of previous vehicles, but the Central Locking controller isn't accessible on this car.
VCDS reports 'no response from controller' after three attempts.

Just started a job with a company that has F250 super duty service vehicles and I am puzzled. All the answers I find don't seem to apply to this vehicle. With a full front seat and the big center console it kinda sucks to have to reach over or walk around to manual lock passenger door 10 times a day. I do NOT have power door lock buttons, number pad on handle, or any type of keyless remote. It seems I only have the safety feature lock/unlock at start up and cutoff. So is there anyway to make it not unlock passenger door when I turn ignition off? I even tried pulling fuse 17 that is marked as lock motors thinking that was related with no success. The dash display doesn't have the option to disable as listed in the manual as one of the 4 ways to turn it off. And for reference it does not behave the way the manual says about autolocking at 12mph. Its instant lock on key turn on and instant unlock both doors on key off.

I input all the information as to where I want to go and then press the icon to calculate the route and a window pops up saying that the calculation of the route failed.
