How do you go about disabling or turning off the daylight lamp?

In my 2015 T Spirit I use the Auto headlight feature but can't get my head around the customisable light sensitivity.
Headlights often stay on when it's full daylight but do I lower or raise the sensitivity to get them to go off earlier.

Prius iv with upgraded nav (sunroof package)...after a year and 15k miles, all of a sudden display stays on daylight mode at night. It is blinding! What happened and how can I fix it?

I pulled my 2005 Prius out of the garage today and parked it on the driveway. When I went back later that day to pull it back under the garage, nothing would work and the "Malfunction Indicator Lamp" came on. I was thinking my battery in my key had gone bad and replaced it. When I tried to start the car for the second time the engine would not turnover, the clock light looked dim, the locks would not work and my headlights would not come on.

My 2004 Prius won't start for the first time in its 45,000 miles. First try only the malfunction indicator lamp went on. After a pause and a few tries later, the fuel gauge and gear indicator cluster flashed on and off while I was attempting to start (fuel indicator racing across its grid and gear indicators outlined with "dotted" lines -- tank is 1/2 full BTW).
Later tries got no response except the malfunction lamp. I tried both keys in the ignition, also checked door lock functions, and found the keys will still lock the doors, but the click is noticeably weak and the unlock function doesn't work.
Prius (2004-09) :: Malfunction Indicator Lamp Came On
I have a 2008 Prius with about 34,000 miles. While I was driving yesterday the malfunction indicator lamp came on. I returned home (was 20 miles away), but did not notice anything wrong while driving. Thanks to Priuschat, I found discussions that said to check if the gas cap was on correctly; sure enough, mine was not on tightly. I've just put the cap back on, but when I started the car, the malfunction indicator still came on. Will the warning light clear on it's own (if the problem was the gas cap).

In the past 2 weeks I've noticed the lights turn on in the daytime. I've tried switching to Off from Auto mode and back again. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I can tell because the nav screen has a black background (when lights are on) and white (when lights are off).

Just wanted to check my memory / mode of operation of instrument cluster illumination... I seem to recall that the main instrument cluster dials were illuminated at all times, ie full brightness during the day with the headlights off and with variable brightness at night with the headlights on - is this correct?
Reason for asking is that the main dials, speedo / rev counter are now dark when the headlights are off - this does not seem right as, in other than bright sunlight, the dials are very hard to read - centre LCD display remains back lit OK.
With headlights on, illumination works as expected - when headlights go off, the main dials stay illuminated for a fraction of a second and then dim to off.
Prius (2004-09) :: Red Lamp On Dashboard When Push Off Foot Brake
Whenever I stop the car I push the P button, and the push the foot parking brake, then I stop the car with the start/stop button. Yesterday I started the car, and forgot to push off the parking foot brake. I put the stick on D and then I started to roll, after two seconds I saw the red lamp on the dashboard telling me there's a problem, so I check and to my surprise I saw that the break was on.

I was replacing the side marker lamp on the passenger side. It was super hard to get my hand in there to get it out! The problem is when I was trying to reinsert it, the bulb slipped out of the socket. I think it fell inside the housing. So it looks like I'm going to have remove the headlight housing to get it out.

I have an 08 prius with about 36k miles on it. Never had a problem other then getting the water pump replaced under warranty during scheduled maintenance.

I bought a 2001 Prius from a private seller after they had just replaced the Hybrid battery with a Gen II battery and it has been running great until the last few days.
First the Malfunction Indicator Lamp and Master Warning Light came on and my husband and I took it to a dealer. The dealer said the error code was P3000 but didn't know more than that. He said he didn't know if the v12 battery currently in the car is the correct battery and he said it looked like it wasn't secured correctly. He said I would have to take it somewhere else to have it worked on.
When we picked up the car everything was normal again and none of the warning indicators came on. After driving it for about 80 miles both warning indicators came on again. I continued driving the car 15 miles, turned it off for about 5 hours and when I turned it on again only the Malfunction Indicator Lamp came on. At first my gas mileage was unaffected but now it has decreased slightly. I usually get about 41 mpg and I'm getting about 37-38 mpg since we picked up the car.
Camry :: 2011 XLE - How To Adjust Clock For Daylight Savings Time
I have a 2011 xle camry with navigation that I cannot change the clock with daylight savings time. It is still an hour off.
1) I have already configured it for daylight savings time.
2) Tried to earlier time zone
3) I have adjust time zone by an hour
Is there a firmware update to make this happen? What am I missing?

On my way home from work tonight, the master warning light and the check engine (malfunction indicator lamp) appeared on the dashboard, and the hybrid system warning light has popped up on the multi-informational display.

Just noticed while I was driving that the led lights in lower drivers door courtesy lamp was on. All other lights like dome are off.... I can open door and dome comes on and close and it goes out but my drivers door lamp just dims a little but stays on.
I tried to leave the car and lock....all lights shut off but the drivers lamp! Had to disconnect lamp for now to avoid drain. What could cause this?
Just a thought.....could the LED lamp go bad and cause this?
Ford Super Duty (1999-2016) :: Daylight Sensor On Dash Does Not Seem To Be Functioning
I was driving into the night a couple days ago and noticed first that the dash lights are not working. As it got darker I then noticed that my tail lights and running lights were also not working. I have a 2002 F250 powerstroke extended cab. I pulled the fuse panel cover off but can't find a blown fuse.
What fuse number would be suspect, and also if there may be a bad relay in the mix? The daylight sensor on the dash does not seem to be functioning either. In good light the headlights stay on (when switched to automatic mode) no matter if it is covered or not when the ignition is on.

So, a couple weeks ago, while driving down the highway, my '99 Grand Am had the oil lamp come on, and the engine was running rough. I pulled over and stopped the car, and then went to try to start it, to no avail. The engine wouldn't crank. After getting it home via tow truck, I charged the battery as first aid.Now, with the charged battery, the engine will start, and run very roughly, as in shaking the entire engine bay. Further, the oil lamp is on now. After a minute of running like this, the engine dies off. Stepping on the gas expedites the stalling out. I've checked and filled the oil, and the coolant (which was low). My next guesses are fuel filter and timing belt.
