Passat (B6) :: Wipers Are Completely Inoperable
I'm at work, went out at lunch and the wipers are completely inoperable.
They worked on the way in now i get nothing, the washers work, Fuse 31 appears fine but I get nothing, no noise, no hum, nothing.
Passat (B6) :: Without Any Warnings, Sound Disappeared Completely
I own 2006 vw passat 2.0T with 10-speaker dynaudio system. One day my sound disappeared completely, without any warnings. I found an amp 3C0-035-456-A under the driver seat. I tried to bypass amplifier directly to one of the speaker (midrange). the sound came on in that speaker. Which makes me believe that my amp died. On the other hand i checked the fuses and even voltages. Green connector to amp gets 3 rails 9 of voltage supply. Each of them measured as 2.8V, which doesn't add up to 12V no how.( so maybe its a voltage problem i'm not sure).

I have had neuspeed p-flo intake on my Passat for about 2 months now and I still can't manage to get the brakes to completely stop vibrating. I know it keeps rubbing up against the master brake cylinder, but how I should put it/ anything I can do to fix it?

1. Impossible to clean them completely. I've experimented with lots of brands and combos of cleaners and wipes - Armor All glass wipes, Invisible Glass (gets the best results so far), Windshield Wonder (wet and dry pads), newspaper, shop towels, microfiber, chamois (wet and dry), lint free towels. As much as I can, I wipe horizontally across the entire surface inside and vertically on the outside so I can see whats amiss. Nothing gets them totally clean, always some sort of streaks or residue show up when the sun or a headlight hits it just right.
2. They fog way too easily. This may be a symptom of the insane amount of snow and rain we've had in my area in the year I've owned it and the resulting overall humidity. But lately I have noticed the rear window begins to fog when the temp drops below 50 degrees F. All the windows fog if more then 2 people are in the car unless I have the A/C going. There is no wetness in the carpeting from a leak into the cabin. I don't know if any drains are clogged, nor do I know where to look for them.
I've owned a few VW's and they have all had the same types of issues compared to other car brands I've owned, but this Passat seems to be worse than other VW's. Or maybe I'm just more concerned with having a nice clean car now.
Passat (B5) :: 1998 Quit Accelerating Completely While Driving
Okay, I've had about enough of this car. Recently, while driving, the car quit accelerating completely. I believe the Check Engine light came on but I'm not sure; I was rather frustrated at that particular time. Anyways, I've heard a few different theories as to what it can be (i.e. coil park, fuel pump, pump relay, etc.) I've really not got a lot of money to work with at all and I'm on the verge of just selling it as is. The car now will not turn over. I recently replaced the battery and the lights and stereo, etc. work.

I have a 98 Passat 1.8T with 99,000 miles on her. The stripping on the either side of the windshield has just about completely disintegrated from the desert heat in Vegas. I have tried searching all over the internet but I can't find exactly what I need.

My friend bought an 05 passat and he is having issues. The windows completely fog up within 10 minutes and they wont defog. He has had it to the dealer and they have spent hours trying to figure it out and they even called VW trying to find answers and got nothing. They asked about moisture under the carpet and various things but nothing.

Any fuse/relay of any sort for the ac system. My ac stopped blowing cold completely, didn't even fade out. So I was wondering how is best to troubleshoot and also had questions if I could recharge the system myself if that be the problem.
Passat (B6) :: Tyre Monitoring System Won't Shut Off Completely?
Have a 06 Passat which shows to low pressure on tyres, but can't find that it's anything wrong with the pressure - I'v tried to turn it off, and it actually turns off for a little while - then starts to warn again of low pressure.
I've heard it can also monitor spare tyre - but I don't have spare only this compressor unit stuff.
What might cause this? - can I turn it off for real with vag-com in any way ?

So the flexpipe on my exhaust is cracked and completely broken, so my passat sounds like a Mack truck. I've been looking into getting it fixed and I've been told i need to buy an entire new down pipe. Should i attempt to just get it fixed or buy a new down pipe.

We just past 1000 miles on our new 08 2.0T wagon and there is '0' oil consumption. The dipstick reads completely full. And...it is noticeably cleaner than our 06 2.0T after 1000 miles (after oil changes).

My 99 Passat just recently developed a couple of oddments. When I use the key fob to lock the doors, the driver door button goes down then back up and alarms the car, but does not lock the front door. Then today I noticed it wasn't locking the drivers side rear door either. So, I have to manually push the button down on the rear door and the then use the key to lock the front. I've used both remotes so that's not the issue.

I have noticed that when i am entering the car from the drivers side, after unlocking with the keypad, when i leave the door open for 30sec or so, the car will automatically lock back up. The door does not know its open.

It only happens after being at sustained highway speeds for 45+ minutes. When exiting the highway, the transmission torque converter lock disengages with a jolt, usually around 30 MPH. Has happened every time I've done extended highway travel since the car hit 1000 miles. And more importantly, is there a dealer fix?

So after the temperature drop .... Next day I opened the trunk to take out my ice scraper and It didn't closed! Warm up the car ... Full speed fans , fold down rear seats to get some heat in trunk area ... 30 min... And nothing. Sprayed some wd40... Nothing !
So I decided to take apart the latch .... Removed liner ...unplug motor unplug manual opener pull wire remove latch and put some white lithium grease... Then when I take it apart found the plastic little gear and internal was pretty dry no kind of any grease inside and it was stuck.
It didn't move so put some grease in all touching areas , gear and latch itself , twist it bunch of times until everything run smooth . Here is the picture of the all mechanism inside. Pretty simple... It's like a retractile pen like. Put everything back together and is working fine for now. Let's see if it work ok from now or I might be buying a replacement part, the new revision which it end in "D"...
Passat (B5) :: How To Do One Touch Lock And Unlock When Key Out
I've searched but can't find. How can I do the one touch lock and unlock when key out with the vag-com. And will the windows work on the b5.5?
