Golf IV R32 :: Can't Locate A/C Recharge Port

The Bentley shows the A/C recharge port behind the passenger headlight but I couldn't find it there. I did find a port by the passenger side strut tower. Is that the correct port?

Azera TG (2006-11) :: Battery Recharge Light Came On

I was sitting at a red light and when I got ready to turn left my car died and everything locked up. When I looked down I had a message flashing that said recharge battery! I drive a 2006 Hyundai azera. I cant get under the hood because my hood latch broke inside my car. What does the code mean for recharge battery? Was it because it was raining and maybe got wet??

Prius (2001-03) :: Run The ICE Non-stop To Recharge The Battery?

I had this happen twice. The Prius will run the ICE non-stop to recharge the battery. Even after the Energy monitor shows the battery to have a full charge (yes, 100% green), the ICE just keeps working to charge it up. Accelerating even slightly, which would normally use the battery only, uses the ICE instead.

Ford Super Duty (1999-2016) :: 2001 - A/C Not Blowing Cold Air - Need Recharge?

I think the truck needs a recharge, it's not blowing any cold air. The question is - which port do I use? There's one on the top of the accumulator and another in the line just off the passenger side of the radiator, near the coolant tank.

My only recharge experience was after I replaced a leaking accumulator in my 2007 Crown Vic police interceptor, and this obviously doesn't look quite the same.

Prius (2004-09) :: Leakage In Wiper Fluid System

My 04 has a leak in the wiper fluid system, after running the wipers with fluid, the reservoir leaks and goes bone dry. The rear window never receives any fluid but the windshield receives its normal amount with no noticeable drop in pressure.

Here's the weird part, there are no visible signs of a leak. I poured 3 liters of water and watched it all drain, but there was no water underneath the car. My car is sitting on a slight decline in the garage with the nose slightly higher than the rear of the car.

I pulled the reservoir out and it is not cracked, the leak appears to be somewhere else and it seems to be collecting. I even moved the car and didn't see a puddle of water. What might be happening or where I can look to find anything? I haven't taken it to the dealer and would prefer not to....

Lexus SC430 :: Fluid Leak In Brake System

The leak appears to originate somewhere around the master cylinder but I cannot locate the exact spot.

I noticed the problem when I started the car and it began to generate white smoke in the drivers side. I also knew it was not oil or ATF because brake fluid smells different. I pulled the cover by the master cylinder (MC) and could see an area that was wet under the MC.

I may have a reservoir leak but I cannot pinpoint at this time. Photos will be provided later if I can take some that show the issue.. I do know they are expensive and I do know that Toyota and Lexus recalled several models for a leaky reservoir.

Lexus LX 2008+ :: Small Leak In Washer Fluid System

My 2010 LX with approx 140K miles has a very small leak in the washer fluid system somewhere. (We think). Every 1500 miles or so I get the "Low washer fluid level" warning sign. Never got it in 6 years, but now it's every 1500 miles. Dealer could not find leak. (Maybe it leaks to slowly?) I hardly use the washer fluid, but it's annoying to override this message every time I start the car.

Prius (2004-09) :: Put Transmission Fluid In Inverter Coolant System

My original intention was to replace the engine oil in the car. I was in a hurry(yes....I know) I could not find the oil drain plug. I did find a large bolt which turned out to be a drain plug for the inverter coolant instead. The instant the fluid drained from the car, I knew it was not engine oil. I did not know the drained fluid was inverter coolant. It had the color of a transmission fluid but significantly less viscous.

Jeep - Liberty :: 2008 - Power Steering Fluid Into Brake System

I had a line blow on my steering rack, and I was taking it to the garage well I decided to add some power steering fluid but instead I added it to my brake system , (yes I know it was bonehead move on my part when I do know the difference). Any ways I drove my 2008 jeep liberty about 5 miles to the garage, they are changing my rack and pinion because the initial problem, but my question is do I bite the bullet and change the master cylinder, brake lines and calipers??? I do a lot of driving on highways , and I am been getting mixed answers yes change it all and no just flush it out.

Santa FE SM (2001-06) :: Transparent Orange Fluid Leaking Down Onto Exhaust System

So after struggling with a coil spring issue, I finally got my car all fixed up. To test out the new shocks, I drove it around the block. All of my hard work and dedication was rewarded with a stinky and smoking engine compartment.

Upon inspection, I determined that there was a transparent orange fluid leaking down onto the exhaust system. My first thought was coolant, but I checked the coolant tank and the fluid is green. I suppose it could be oil, but it has a low viscosity. There is enough fluid leaking to cause a small puddle under the engine after it's warmed up and I can see a trail of fluid coming up the driveway.

With the use of a mirror, I could trace the fluid up to the exhaust manifold on the rear of the engine. Obviously the manifold does not contain fluids, so I assumed it must be coming from the intake manifold or a cracked hose and dripping onto the exhaust. I didn't see any cracked hoses.

Is there anything else it could be besides the intake manifold? I'm hoping it's just the gasket...but I don't understand why the gasket would suddenly fail.

Here's a pic looking down onto the intake manifold bolts and the exhaust manifold...

Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel :: CEL And Exhaust Fluid System Fault Came On

My check engine light just came on and a few miles later the "exhaust fluid system fault" also came on. I plugged in my scanner and these codes came up:

P2479 b1s2
P2033 b1s2
P050E
P0231 b1s2

I'm assuming these mean bank one sensor 2 is bad. Need to verify? I don't remember all these codes when the #4 sensor went bad.

Ford Super Duty (1999-2016) :: A/C Not Cold - Knocking / Buzzing / Clicking - Faulty Blend Doors Or Recharge?

2008 F-250 Lariat with EATC climate controls... My truck suffers from the knocking/buzzing/clicking that is apparently associated with faulty blend door actuators. I have been putting off getting them replaced because of the hefty price tag associated with tearing apart the dash and whatnot that is required to get to the lower actuator that sits right on the transmission tunnel. Anyhow, today was the first day I really needed A/C and it just wasn't cold. Cool yes, but not cold. Is there a way to determine if this is a function of the blend door(s) not doing their thing versus the system A/C needing a repair/recharge? I don't have access to any A/C equipment myself, how to determine if it's a blend door issue?

Ford F-150 - 1997-2003 :: 1998 - Coolant System Develops Air Bubble And Fluid Overflow?

So I have a 98 f150 with the 4.6L V8. Been having some issues with it, first off it gets the standard film on the windows associated with a bad heater core, it doesn't leak fluid into the truck tho. But it does have an issue with heat. Also while driving the coolant system develops an air bubble and pushes fluid out the over flow. Also it periodically registers that it's over heating and goes into limp mode. if you press in the clutch and turn the truck off it resets and acts as if nothing ever happened.

I even added def and it only took a small amount until it overflowed. It was more than 1/2 full. The error message did not reset. I drove it around for several miles and it still would not reset. Having it services as we speak, and the tech is still having difficulty running down the cause. He has done a regen, and reset the computer and etc and still has not resolved the issue..
