Ford Excursion :: 2003 - Fuse And Relay Location Diagram?
I have a 03 for excursion and I am pretty sure i blew the relay for the fog lights today but looked in the glove box and everywhere for the owners manual and cannot find it anywhere in site... Looking for a diagram or can take a picture of where the fog light relay is and post it on here and which fuse or relay it is ?

I posted earlier about the tranny in my 01 Ex v10 having a transmission problem. The show looked at it and found the O2 sensor had shorted out and in some way sending the truck in to limp home causing the tranny fuse to blow????
Any way they fixed it or so they said and I drove it for a few hours and it did fine. The next morning I drove it and it blew the fuse. (under hood box I belive #19) I took it back to the shop and they beat and banged on it....got it wet etc. and can not get it to do it again. I know whe have an electrical issue but what all runs off of the fuse that controlls the tranny?
Is there any online wiring diagrams of excursions or superduty drive trains? Where all to look for the problem?
Ford F-150 - 1997-2003 :: 2001 - Blows Fuse Touching Gas In Reverse
Got a 2001 F150 XLT 4x4,4.6L, When you start the vehicle it seems to run a little rough you can drive around with it OK. Soon as you put it in reverse,It starts to really run rough..touch the gas pedal and fuse position #30 blows.
This fuse is for : Passive Anti theft Transceiver, Cluster Ignition Coils, Powertrain Control Module, Relay Coil on Plugs, Radio noise Capacitor, ECC Diode.
I have checked cables and connections, all seem ok...Relays are fine. Nothing seems burnt on the cable running from the engine to the exhaust. I don't see any wire breakage in the tilt Column.
Cant find a short if it is one.. Even removed the aftermarket Remote starter from the circuit ... still blowing that darn fuse.... What to check now, or what it could be?
Ford F-150 - 1997-2003 :: 2001 Truck Will Not Start And Clicking Noise Coming From A Relay In Cabin Fuse Box
I am having trouble with my 2001 F-150. Starting yesterday it would not start. At 1st i thought it wa the battery, so i took it off, charged it, put it back in the truck and still no start. There is a clicking noise coming from a relay in the cabin fuse box, disconnected the battery, removed relay to inspect and everything looks good. After plugging it back in, and connecting the battery, the truck still wont start and there is a clicking sound coming from the dash near the radio. Rhis is my work vehicle!!!

I was having intermittent fuel pressure problems. I replaced fuel pump and relay and was still having the problem. A figured out that wiggling the 20 amp fuse would cause the intermittent. Looking at the connections for the fuse, I can see one side was damaged. I figured I could pull the connector out from the back and fix the connector, but when I took the back off (see picture) I have a purple wire (labeled 1) going to one side of the fuse and a multi-connector (labeled 2) from one wire going to the other side. My luck, it's the multi-connector side that is damaged.
It Looks like the multi-connector goes to the Black and yellow wire. Instead of replacing the box, I figured I could just create an inline fuse for the fuel pump with the purple wire and splice it into the Black/yellow wire.
I can't see any problem with this, just looking for a second opinion. And I'm not sure how it would effect the relay. I can't find a fuse panel wiring diagram anywhere.

I just printed of a wiring diagram from web and went to work I am now on my second one and it has the same colors for two different speakers!! The first one was completely wrong. I have a 1999 Ford F-150 4X4 w/4.6L V8 W code, I recently lost all brakes. The primary line from Master Cylinder to ABS Pump rusted out completely. Replaced them but the other lines from ABS Pump to wheels are looking real bad. So I need to replace them, however I have no idea what the routing system looks like. Looking for a 97-03 F-150 Brake Line Diagram? I live at the jersey shore... so yeah rust is extremely common.... unfortunately.Also, where to get line assemblies?

I just bought a 2000 Excursion limited v10 4x4. I'm going camping this weekend so trying to install my brake controller. I found the plug but noticed these wires dangling. I can't see the back of the harness. I'm afraid the PO may have cut them to install a universal harness. How to recognize them? I don't want to buy a ford specific harness if the wiring has been cut.

I am working on my son's 1997 F-150, 2 wheel drive, 4/6L truck. He was driving it when the gauges and the tach stopped working. I replaced the cluster and it still blows the fuses. The five amp fuse that is specifically for the cluster doesn't blow. It is a twenty five amp fuse that also power the overdrive circuit, etc.
After replacing the gauge cluster I installed a new fuse and the overdrive button on the shifter started smoking. Where I could get a wiring diagram of this circuit so I can see how it is wired.

Fuse #41 keeps blowing...scan tool says o2 sensor heater circuit malfunction. Problem is that when the o2 sensors are unplugged it keeps blowing fuse the second I hit the key. My park lamp circuit is dead. I have tested with a multi-meter and there IS power at the fuse. However, no power at the plug. I have pulled the bumper and found the plug for both the rear taillights (the park lamp circuit WORKS in the taillights) and the trailer wires. Confirmed it is dead there as well.
Both bundles go into the frame rail at the fuel tank, but I not sure which is which where it comes out at the firewall. A web search did not reveal a diagram and the Ford repair CD I have does not list Excursion diagrams.

The power port in my dash went out. The diagram I got off the internet says fuse #39 or 41. Both are good. Where else should I look?
