Prius (2004-09) :: Getting OBD2 Error Code P1100 - BARO Sensor?

An OBD tester is reporting error code P1100. Checking online I have discovered that it is in reference to a Barometric sensor that is reading out of range. However, I cannot find any identification of the Toyota part number, its location, and whether or not it is a DIY replacement

Ford Aerostar :: Code P1100 - Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Circuit Intermittent

So, I've got a new toy (FORscan ODBII software) and a new code that isn't turning on the CEL (yet) but also didn't show up in OBDWiz either.

P1100 - Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Circuit Intermittent

I cleared it, drove a few miles, checked again and it's set again.

The little troubleshooting advise window in FORscan says to monitor the MAF voltage while wiggling the MAF harness and see if the voltage goes below 0.23v or above 4.60v. I was unable to manually make that occur, no matter how I tapped on the MAF or wiggled the wiring.

However, in oscilloscope mode, look at this (at idle):

It sure looks like it went below 0.23v here. I have no time tonight to do any research. This is a relatively new MAF (one week old, Delphi unit). I think I'll swap it out for one of my two old OEM MAFs sometime this week. But if any opinion about this, pipe up. I do damned little work with scanners these days, and the tech keeps changing.

Elantra XD (2001-06) :: Camshaft Sensor Location And Timing

I have a 01 Elantra and my daughter has a 02. Both cars have the camshaft sensor at the front (timing belt) end of the engine. My daughters car is a early model with a 01 engine in it. My understanding is that later 02 engines moved the camshaft sensor to the ignition coil end of the cylinder head. My question is did the timing remain the same so that if I put a 01 engine in a late 02 body and spliced the sensor in would it work correctly?

Accent MC (2006-11) :: Misfire On 2 Cylinders - Location Of MAF Sensor?

I have a 2009 Hyundai accent. 2 cylinders misfire. I changed out the spark plugs after the misfiring began and the 2 cylinders that misfire don't follow any specific ignition coil, it's just 2 random ones.

Looking at the data with a reader points to fuel injector number 1 not working properly. The first few seconds the car is on the check engine light blinks and fuel injector 1 spray duration (fluctuates based on gas applied) changes just like all the others. However, when the check engine light goes solid (then the misfire code is thrown) fuel injector 1's spray duration is stuck (usually around 3.5 ms)

The cable going into the fuel injector powers those little troubleshooting lights like it should until you plug the cable into the fuel injector OR remove and replace the light a few times.

I don't know much about cars but someone told me to try cleaning out the Mass AirFlow sensor as they had the problem above and the MAF sensor was the cause. I can't find anything on where the MAF sensor is located though.

Ford Super Duty (1999-2016) :: 2006 - Door Sensor Location?

Where are the door sensors located?

The ones that turn the light and off when you open and close the doors.

It use to be switches on the old trucks and cars.

But on my 2006 F-250 I can find anything that seems to do that function, nor is anything mentioned in the repair manuel.

Elantra HD (2006-10) :: 2008 - Hard To Start / Code P2626 For O2 Sensor

I recently replaced the timing belt, water pump, tensioner, all accessory belts. Made sure timing marks were spot on, did the 2 revolutions of the engine by hand, tensioner pointer was still in window per instructions. I noticed right after the car seemed not as responsive, or zippy, but did start and run fine for 340 miles. Than out of nowhere, it became hard to start, acting like it was out of time, so I removed top timing cover, doubled checked, everything, I even went as far as advancing the timing belt 1 tooth, than rotating engine by hand, than trying to start the vehicle. It still acted the same way, so I tried retarding it 1 tooth back from the original position, still the same issue. So I reinstalled it back to the correct position with, white crank mark @ TDC, and cam pulley hole lined up with the red painted groove in the cylinder head. Installed tensioner per Gates instructions, attempted to start, after 3 or 4 10 second cranks car will start and purr like nothing is wrong, take it for a test drive approximately 1 mile, car starts bucking, came back home. Pulled codes, tells me P2626 for o2 sensor.

Camry :: 2007 - ECT Sensor Location?

I have a 2007 Camry Hybrid with ~150k miles, 4-cyl engine and last week the water temp gauge starting fluctuating erratically...going from extremely hot to cold and vice versa. It eventually tripped the check engine light and autozone said it was p0117 - Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Circuit Low Input. At one point the engine was really shaking the whole car. I haven't driven the car as a result.

I have ordered a new ECT sensor and it should arrive this week. the problem is I can't find where the sensor is located... I have looked all over this forum, google, the internet, nothing. I have looked in a Chilton's manual but it doesn't have a diagram.

Passat (B7) :: Location Of Coolant Sensor?

Looking for the location of the coolant sensor.

I'm pretty sure I have a faulting coolant sensor. Light comes on with a message in the MFI indicating coolant is low, but when I check, its at the maximum line on the overflow reservoir. So I assume the sensor is not accurate/faulting.

Spoke to my service advisor who said the sensor is attached to the reservoir and you buy it all as one item, sensor and reservoir combined.

I've also seen threads that indicate it's a stand alone sensor toward the back of the engine compartment.

Need to confirm either of these as being accurate locations for the sensor? Is there more than one?
