Lincoln - Mkx :: All Lights Staying On When Shut The Car Off
I have a 2016 mkx and when we shut it off, all of the lights stay on. We turned off the headlamp delay. Set it to zero.

My girlfriend has a 2005 Accent and recently we went to go drive it and the battery was dead. I noticed that when we shut the car off the black LCD Odometer display was staying on the dash with the power shut off and no key in the ignition. I figured out which Fuse it was under the hood and pulled it. The odometer lcd turned off and we also lost all of the interior lights.. When I ran the car with the fuse pulled the Odometer LCD would display normally but somehow the battery is still managing to drain even with the Fuse pulled.. Any wiring diagrams for the fuse panel under the hood or if it could be a relay that is still drawing power when the car is shut off..

I just ran into this the other morning, I needed to get gas and my whole car was frozen over. No snow, just a thin layer frost.. But enough to freeze the lock on the gas door.
I was not able to get it open at all.. I hit lock/unlock about 25 times and nothing.. I gave up and took the wifes car.. By the time I got home all was thawed out and the gas door was working just fine..
Elantra MD (2010-15) :: 2013 GLS - Passenger Door Will Not Shut Occasionally
I have just bought a 2013 Elantra GLS and occasionally the passenger door won't shut. When you close the door, it will bounce back. It's like it's not catching. I took it to the dealer and they lubed the mechanism that catches, but it did it again. And of course, this is one of those things that won't repeat itself at the dealership.

My 2005 Elentra GLS, when I use the key remote control and hit the alarm activation button, the alarm goes off and lights flash. And I haven't even opened a door on the vehicle. I am not using the alarm function because of this issue. Is this something I can troubleshoot. Just purchased the car used from a used car dealer.

I have a 2003 Sport Trac that basically died last night on me. I drove it 30 miles Shut it off for about 10 minutes came back out and it cranks but it will not start. I sprayed some starting fluid into the throttle body and it ran for a second, so it's definitely a fuel issue. I am just not sure if it could be a fuel pump, Relay, or a dirty Fuel filter (I have not changed in the 87K I had the truck). Because it ran fine before it died..

Just realised the other day that the back door/seats lights for my car never turn on when i open the back doors. Been like that since i got the car. Owners manual says when the map and room light switch beside map light is in middle position, the lights turn on with doors opening. the map light turns on when i open front doors, but the room lights in the back only turn on if i hit the switch manually but they stay on.
If the back door/ seat lights are supposed to be auto on off with door opening, closing? Or is this a feature that did not come with my model.. I have a Canadian 2013 GLS GT with the panoramic roof so room lights are at the sides of roof.
*Also something completely unrelated, noticed in owners manual the maintenance schedule for replacing spark plugs is 168,000km for normal driving conditions and 'more frequently' for extreme conditions.
Elantra MD (2010-15) :: 2013 - Interior Lights Not Working
I just got my 2013 Elantra in Pearl White GLS Preferred Package about a month ago, and since then the interior lights fuse has blown twice. The first time I took it back to the dealer and they replaced a fuse. It then worked for about a week or so and they're out again. Also, the passenger fog lamp keeps just blowing bulbs.

I have a 2007 ES350 and my trunk decided to stay shut today, right when I arrived at work with stuff in the trunk.... The keyfob doesn't work, the button on the trunk doesn't work and the button inside the car doesn't work.
There is no clicking sound, it doesn't seem to be moving the switch. I can open the trunk using a long stick and pulling the emergency lever. I have checked the valet and that is not the problem.
I have disconnected the battery multiple times. Apart from losing all my settings this did not work for trunk issue. I pulled the fusebox and don't see a "trunk release" fuse. I see a fuel OPN but no trunk..... My fuel door works fine. I am going to check every fuse after I get off work.

1 weird problem.... when I open either door, only 2 light on top of the mirror light up, but the rear one right beside the handle is not lighting up.
I play with the button at the side, it's only ON/OFF. no door option like the front....how can I make all of them light up when door open?

Having intermittent starting on Elantra 2013 Key start model ? After over-nite car will not crank only dash lights come on and on third try (after overhead lights out) it starts ok ? I measured my battery after 6 hrs at 35 degree F , I see 12.4 vlts and about 0.09a draw in main neg cable (car not running). Brand new battery on 2/17 - had same trouble when original battery was in . dealer says all electrical DTC ok Batt / alternator charging etc.

Today when I got to school and put my car in park the idle immediately went unusually rough. Then I noticed my passenger airbag light was flickering but also were all the other lights around there (Climate control, heated seat button, etc). I took a video to show it but you have to really look closely at the airbag light and even the ring around the fan speed dial. Now it gets even more interesting when I start my car to leave I notice it isn't on the average MPG screen anymore but rather trip A. So I switched it back but the average MPG had reset... but ONLY the average mpg and the time elapsed clock. Finally when I started driving it felt as if the transmission memory or the part that "tunes" the transmission to your driving habits had also reset as it was jerky, downshifting mainly (I know this because I've had it reset multiple times for various reasons and also when I disconnected the battery once). Loose battery terminal? HID's have anything to do with it?

Lexus ES 2013+ :: VSC / Engine / Trac Light On - Code P0300 Only
I had a check vsc, engine light, and trac light come on... I got the code checked and it returned P0300 only. That was three days ago (5 totals days of the lights being on) and today I start my car up, and all the lights are off.
I've only had my 2007 ES 350 for 5 months. I bought it used with 48k miles on it. I'd been advised it probably need new plugs since none of the coil codes hit... should I still be concerned? should I still replace the plugs although the lights have gone out?
Camry :: 2003 VSC And TRAC OFF Lights Come On?
I've had this 2003 XLE v6 for several days. Just got new rear tires, to match the almost new fronts.
Drove fine for about 100 miles. Then my conscience told me to get an alignment. I got in the car after the alignment and the VSC and TRAC OFF lights were on. I went back in and got the "they were on when we drove it in" song.
After pressing the trac button several times, the VSC went off, then the TRAC OFF when out. "Oh well" maybe he was not BSing me, so I drive off. Came back on within a couple hundred feet.
Now, it seems they go off right after starting the engine, with all the others, but will come on almost as soon as I drive off. If I just sit there idling, does not seem to come back on.
I should add they also told me the cabin air filter was filthy and had to wait while the put it back in when I declined. After all, I can get it way cheaper, etc. I mention because I have seen some comments about this happening in some models after changing that filter.
So, what did the do? Or what can I do?
Camry :: Brake, VSC, Trac, ABS Lights Came On
03 xle 3.0. Recent motor mounts, front lower control arms, LR bearing. All good. Raining. Driving around all good. Stopped for several hours, started up, immediately brake vsc, trac, abs came on. Stopped to get a sandwich, started up again, all are out. Car seems fine otherwise.
