Nissan - Altima :: 2007 - AC Blows Weak At High Speeds
Here is a weird issue on a 07 Nissan Altima. Just recently, the air conditioning started blowing weak when I hit highway speeds (around 60+). It still blows cold..., but is very faint no matter what speed the blower is on. I can still hear the blower cranking away, but very little air coming out of the vents. If i turn the a/c button off...it takes a little bit, like 20 seconds, but the air starts blowing through the vents again. Wait a bit and hit the a/c button and blammo - a/c. It lasts for about 10 minutes and happens all over again. Only at high speeds. at low speeds, everything works like a champ.

Truck had a check engine light that came on. Plugged in scanner while I was still running it, said egr volts were weak, i just cleaned it yesterday.. and earlier today reset the check engine light once but then drove about 30 miles with no reoccurrence of light. Now i pulled over, shut off truck unplugged egr and reconnected. Went back to start my truck and nothing at all. Its like I am trying to start it in park.....been here for about 3 hrs now I've checked fuses nothing is blown. I am just sitting here freezing trying to fig out anything i can on line....... I have found on my new 2016 Camry XLE that on cooler mornings of 50 degrees and the engine is hot, when I set the AUTO button on and set the temperature to 70 degrees, the system blows out cold air through the top vents. I have to run the temperature up to 75 to receive warm air from below. Is there a way for the dealer to change the settings to warm at lower temperatures???

I just switched to driving my wifes 06 v6 Camry a few months ago. A few days ago I noticed that coming from the passenger side I can hear a noise when driving with my windows down. It's quite obviously coming from one of the wheels as its a kind of scrapping noise that speeds up if I speed up.
Here's the thing... this happened once before, the exact same noise, and my wife took it to a shop in our hometown when I was out of the country on business. She says that "a piece was missing and they replaced the piece and now it stopped making the noise". She doesn't have the receipt or remember where the place was so I can call and ask exactly what they did.
So my question is... if this is in fact the same issue... what piece of the brakes or tires or whatever could fall off and cause a strange scrapping noise.... It almost sounds like the wear sensor the brakes, but I checked the pads and they seem fine.
Camry 2012+ :: XV50 SE 7th Gen Weak HID Output?
Recently installed 35w Canbus Slim Ballast 6000k HIDs into my 2014.5 Camry SE projector headlights (black bezel). For some reason it seems like the Halogens lit up better. I get very poor lighting, and when I drive on the highway at night it barely lights up the signs. I don't know if I need to adjust the angle of the projector because the beams seem kind of low or if I need to upgrade the ballast to a 55w. Also not sure if the housing or the stock wiring can handle the 55w without causing damage.

My 2008 Camry V6 has a noise that happens when I first start driving forward right after the transmission shifts from 1st to 2nd gear, from inside the car it sounds like it's coming from the engine compartment on the driver side. I've figured out that the noise happens only when the engine is completely cooled down and it happens only once until the engine is cooled down again. It doesn't do it when in reverse, however if I reverse first it will still occur when I start pulling forward and the transmission shifts.
I brought my car into the Toyota dealer and they say that they don't hear anything wrong. They ended up replacing an axle because a boot was torn so I was hoping that it would end up fixing the issue but it made the noise right away when I picked up the car.

I have literally 89 miles left on my extended warranty so I really need to get this fixed. Back to Toyota...

Few weeks ago, I got the Tein spring installed on my camry. Drop 1.5/1.6 front/rear.
Problem is now I sometimes hear this clunking sound from the rear. It doesn't happen very frequently, just every once in a while when i drive through a small&sudden bump.
Only from the rear, nothing from front of the car.
Another thing is that when i reverse & turn (ex. getting out of garage), it makes one or two cracking noise from the front, small clunking sound from the rear.
I'm suspecting the strut may be bad. The mechanic guy said that my rear struts are bad (when he was installing the springs).
Am I in need to get new struts ?
Lexus GS 2006-11 :: Loud Engine Noise When Driving
Recently traded in a 2004 ES330 for a Lexus Certified Pre-owned 2009 GS 350 AWD with 32,000 miles. Wasn't in the market for a GS but with such low miles and it being a CPO and the price was in my budget so went for it. Once I got it home, I am starting to notice the engine noise, like its kinda loud.
For some reason didn't notice it while doing the test drive but now, its like when I am driving, I get conscious about it so much so that I have to turn the radio on to take my mind off of it.
So was just curious if its the case with every GS. My 2004 ES had less of an engine noise, and I am thinking the GS is a CPO so it shouldn't be something out of the norm but still wanted to get some perspective here for peace of mind.

I have a 2006 Camry LE 4 cyl. that developed a light, random (metal sounding) rattling noise under the hood, near engine on passenger side. It's present/noticable at idle and slow speed.
Car runs great otherwise and great gas mileage, pushing around 100k on odometer. Out of town with car otherwise would have looked at. Could something just be loose? Something in air filter? GF drove it down to FL and was fine before she left.
Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: Possible Plugged Oil Cooler Or EGR Cooler?
I have a 04 that has 153k on it. 4" cat back exhaust with no cat. SCT tuner running a custom street tune. New FMIC with the extra tune on it. Head gaskets where done at 90k along with ARP studs. EGR cooler, The oil cooler was cleaned, New coolant tank. 1-new head and The cooling system was flushed at 90K. All done by the dealer along with some other items. Installed a bypass coolant filter at least 60k miles ago.
I have been having a no heat issue sometimes at idle this past winter and a mystery loss of coolant. I replaced the cap with a OEM one. I did a vacuum test on the coolant it held at 25 inches for well over a 1/2 hour. Pulled the egr valve it looked somewhat like tar inside not 100% dry. At startup it sometimes blows some white smoke and other times it's black smoke. I've had the scan gauge on for the last week to check my deltas.
Running 65mph the deltas stayed around 10 degrees diff.
Running 70mph the deltas stayed around 14-16 degrees diff.
Yesterday just running around rural roads 55mph and under the deltas stayed around 10 degrees diff.
I have not found a lower pressure gauge to do a coolant pressure test.
It does look as though it has burped the cap. Because of the deltas I'm thinking a plugged oil cooler my be the problem.
Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: Clogged Oil Cooler - Fan Kicking On Under Normal Driving Without A Load
I know I have a clogged oil cooler and normally I'm not home much during the summer months to know how it does during the summer. The outside temperature is around 95*, but the thermostat on the Ex is reading from 102 to 112, and it actually read 122 yesterday. Also, with the hot weather, I'm not noticing the fan kicking on under normal driving without a load. The AC is working, but it's not the ice cold AC I'm use to and does get better while cruising down the highway.

2004 Ford Escape air conditioner works GREAT when sitting idle. Air conditioner blows HOT air while driving. Seems like the faster I go or the more load on the engine the hotter it blows. Weird?

The fans are operating as they should when my 2007 Camry SE V6 engine is running: if AC is off - fans are off too till the coolant temperature raising to the middle of the temp gauge, then fans are started to spin on slow occasionally; when AC is on fans are running all the time. But when I turn off the car fans are running on full speed till battery is dead. What can it be? ECU?

Every thing was perfect till suddenly my A/C blows hot air on hot summer days when it over 104 , everything works motor clutch , fans so when its hot outside the motor & clutch turns on & off and wont cool it all started when I refilled my AC, I might of over charge a little. Not sure how to fix.

I recently purchased an 06 V8 Phaeton that has just about all the options except the 4 seat package. Other than the notoriously finicky TPMS, the rear seat heater and cooler does not work at all. The rear seat lumbar adjustment and massage features work properly. From what I can determine from service manuals the rear seat heaters and coolers are controlled by J522 Rear Seat.

Now I first suspected that the wheels in the center console may not be functional, because the seat has power. When I took a look at the measurement blocks they responded from 0.36V - 5V on both on the controller.
My next thought is that the controller isn't coded/configured for the rear seat heaters/coolers? Looking for the details of this controller? What should I check next?
