My 2012 Accent Blue is making a low pitched whistling sound when its in motion. I have an annoying problem with my car. While I'm driving the car whenever I pass 90 km/h a whistling noise are started in front of my car. Hyundai Service nor Hyundai Customer service come up with a solution. Accent MC (2006-11) :: Gears Begin To Get Sticky / Jerking Motion
07 accent with transmission lurching.
As the auto trans heats up, the gears begin to get sticky. This creates a jerking motion as the engine downshifts while braking. It also happens at high speeds when attempting to downshift for acceleration.
Additionally, while shifting from park at hot temperatures, the transmission will take up to 15 seconds to engage into drive, and even more time (30-40 sec) to shift into reverse.
The car has recently (approx 6-8000 miles ago) had a complete transmission flush. The auto shop in town also suggested and did replace a sensor somewhere which supposedly had gone bad. But the problem persists...
Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel :: Front End Bounce While Driving On The Freeway
I have a 2011 F250 6.7 XLT crew cab with just over 50,000 miles. A couple of weeks ago while heading to work I experienced a very violent Front end bounce while driving on the freeway. My Speed was around 55-70. I experienced this front end bounce on after hitting a patched portion of asphalt on the freeway. I lost complete control of my vehicle and had to slow down almost to a complete stop in order to regain control. When I got to work I checked my tires, wheels and under carriage. I found under abnormal. Well it happened again today. Again on my way to work I hit a bumpy stop in the road and experienced this "Death wobble" (youtube it). So I decided to take it to the dealer and have it looked at. On the way there it happened a couple more times.

I am having with my 2000 Accent GL. It keeps dying while I'm driving it then will not restart. After sitting for awhile it will start but then after a short time dies again. The first thing I did was replace the fuel filter but that did not work. Did a diagnostic scan and it threw a code for the CPS sensor. Replaced THAT and it STILL did not fix it. I reset the computer but it didn't work. The scanner didn't pick up any other codes. Next I checked the relays and they all seem to be fine. Finally, I replaced the fuel filter but the problem did not go away.

So I have a 2000 Hyundai Accent, 1.5L with an automatic transmission. I'm hearing a grinding noise when I'm driving. It gets faster as the car goes faster, but the engine RPM has no effect only the speed of the car.
I got new tires, changed the CV axle shaft on both sides, and I also changed the front struts as I was told that one of the struts was bad the last time I took the car for an alignment. None of that has had any effect on the grinding noise.
Then I jacked the car up on both sides and let the wheels spin, and the grinding noise is present that way as well. Then I jacked up just one side at a time. When the driver's side wheel is spinning, the noise is audible, but not when just the passenger side is spinning.
I then disconnected the brake caliper from the driver's side and held it up with a tie wrap to keep it out of the way. The noise is still audible when the wheel is spinning, so it's not the pads or a clip or anything like that.
So now I'm down to a couple of ideas.
1) Wheel bearings
2) Something is hosed in the differential or transmission. I'm guessing that the differential is more likely, as the transmission should effect both sides the same, right?
I'm going to check the wheel bearings now, though to me it seems unlikely to be the problem.
Accent LC (2000-05) :: When Driving On Interstate Car Died Now Will Not Start
I have a 2004 Accent. When driving on the interstate yesterday, I turned the turn signal on and my car died for a moment. After I parked it, it would not start. It did not turn over. Took the battery out to get checked. It was good. Put back in and then the car started. Drove home. The radio and clock would flicker intermittently but made it home. Today it will not start at all. Nothing comes on.

I have a 2000 hyundai accent 5 speed with 76k and a 1.5. the spark plug boots arc on all 4 plugs and can see a light blue line down the center of the wires also. But while idling you see nothing till u snap the throttle. Also driving while its under load you can really feel the miss in 3rd gear. Ok here"s what I've done I cleaned up all my grounds on motor and body ,also cleaned spark plug threads. i replaced wires with 5 different brands including factory wires and same thing. I've tried all kinds of different plugs from regular coppers to iridium and changing plug gaps with no change. the coil was replaced,crank sensor changed and does same thing.

Driving down the highway today, my car just all of a sudden quit. I had it towed home, and checked the spark and fuel pump. It turns over fine, there's plenty of spark, and the fuel pump works great, but I don't think fuel is getting all the way to the engine. Could the fuel line be blocked or something? Maybe the injectors?

My hubby hit a curb on vacation last weekend and now it sounds like something is grinding and we can both feel vibrations (on both driver and passenger floor) it does not do it when stopped. We had to cut the bottom of the under carriage away from the tires due to it rubbing, thinking that was what the noise was, but its only getting worse.We just changed the CV joint on the driver side in March at the same time. We do know he has a small exhaust leak but it was never making this sound until he hit that curb.. I really don't want to take it to a shop to have it looked at if I don't have to, I normally do all the work myself.

Have a Hyundai accent 2000 manual. The vehicle inconsistently stalls while driving. One day it will drive all day without stopping. The next it will stall while driving 10 or more times.
I`ll pull over, turn ignition off. Turn the key 1-2 times. It starts. Drive sometimes 5-10 minutes will stall again, sometimes will stall an hour later. Some days not at all.
What I should be checking and how to go about it. Have the car booked in to get it put on the computer, but would rather do it myself especially if its just a sensor that needs replacing.

Any way to make my Accent quieter whilst driving. It is not overly noisy in any way, but it is certainly louder than most cars in the cabin. Is there any sort of solution to this?

2005 hyundai accent, I've noticed something unusual with my trans, whenever I start driving at lower speeds ( which I do all the time to save gas) the transmission shifts into 2nd and 3rd just fine, but in 3rd gear ( at around 2.5 rpm ) the RPM gage goes down a little bit ( about 2.1 rmp), it almost feels like it went into 4th gear and it happens really smooth, it almost feels like its supposed to do that, the car later shifts into 4rd at around 3 rpm, there's no jerking, stalling or sounds at all, this does NOT happen when I take off at a higher speed and acceleration. This transmission has 55.000 miles on it and besides this it works perfectly fine.

Was driving today on the highway at about 50mph and suddenly noted jerky motion. Kept the right foot steady, but it seemed like extra power was being delivered and then cut off every few seconds. The MPH monitor was jumping all over the place with the jerking motions, as was the HSI power scale indicator. The jerking was not terrible, but noticeable.
Got home safe, no issues otherwise. Only noted while cruising on the highway. No issues driving in the city.
I am in the midwest and the temp yesterday was -11F and today about 0F. Did not a problem yesterday, but then again was not able to drive at 50mph on the highway due to snow until today.
Accent LC (2000-05) :: Just Stopped In The Middle Of Driving - Not Turning Back On
Had no problems until a month ago the car just stopped in the middle of driving it. It hasn't turned back on since. It cranks and sounds great, just won't turn over.
Here's everything we've changed so far:
spark plugs
ignition coils
fuel filter
fuel pump
fuel pump relay
crank shaft sensor
added gas
If there's something we're missing.
Accent LC (2000-05) :: Stalled While Driving - Check Engine Light Popped On
2 days ago my 2000 Hyundai accent Gl 1.5 stalled while driving i lost no power to my electrical system all my lights and stereo stayed on but i lost all engine power the check engine light popped on and i had to have a friend tow me home this has never happened to me before. I had sat in my yard for about a year before i started driving it again due to money problems. I did a tune up on it before I took it out anywhere and ran some lucas injector cleaner and changed oil added some oil additive and changed my air filter spark plugs seemed fine so I didn't replace them and it ran for almost a month just fine i have about 150k in miles on it then suddenly just died while driving home from work I am thinking its in my fuel lines filter or pump are clogged up but I am not sure. I am going to start diagnosing it tomorrow. I can't get the check engine light looked at cuz I can't get it started.

My 2000 Hyundai Accent Hatchback (manual) is tripping the code P0422 (Main Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)). If i clear the code it will pop back up after about 40-60 miles of driving. I hooked my OBDII sensor to it and look at the voltage output from the two O2 sensors and the front one oscillates between .2 to .7V and the downstream one does as well switching about at the rate. From my understanding the downstream O2 sensor should stay fairly steady or at least switch much slower than the upstream one. I get pretty good gas mileage, typ. ~30mpg. Luckily my state does not have emission testing. Is it actually the catalytic converter, the downstream O2 sensor or something else?

I have a 2002 Accent with 119,000 miles on it. Its an automatic transmission. When I am driving the car feels like it surging forward while I have the brake on...its doesn't happen all the time. But when it does it surges for half a minute, then run fine and then surges again.
