I'm 23 weeks and 3 days and my lower back,hips and knees hurt me so bad I can't sleep that well. So is it okay to take a nice warm Epsom salt bath or any other suggestions? I have scoliosis in the lower back and just started showing in my belly area (well it just appeared one morning lol) but I've noticed my back and everything has been really sore.

I've been on the shot for 2 years . Im due for another one in a few days but I don't want to take it until im sure im not pregnant. Me and my boyfriend had sex 2 weeks ago and a week ago and the day after the last time I've been feeling pregnant. This would be my second child but with my first a test couldn't tell until I was almost out of my first trimester but i knew right away that I had to be. Now it's different because I don't have a period since im on the depo. I've been having back pain, thigh cramps, migraines, tired, dizziness, and my stomach has been cramping and feeling weird. I was just recently diagnosed with pleurisy after spending hours running through every test imaginable. I am also pregnant, 7 months, with my second child. I have never felt a pain like this before. The pain is in my right chest and back; at first I was tested for gallbladder problems and that came out clear. I was sent to the ER for further testing where they did extensive blood work ups, chest x-ray, tested for reflux and finally a cat scan. When everything came back clear, they diagnosed it as pleurisy and sent me home with a pain killer. Unfortunately, the pain got worse and I was readmitted to the ER by my OB for more testing. Again everything was clear, this time they were given the green light to give me ibuprofen but only for 3 days with a follow up visit to my OB on day 3 to make sure the baby was alright. So far, the ibuprofen is helping considerably. I hope I never have to suffer through this again. I found the information provided here about pleurisy very helpful especially since I had never even heard of it before this happened.
