Overdosing On Microgynon 30 - Have Affected My Fertility Somehow?
Basically for the last 2 or 3 years I have skipped most of my periods...I think I maybe have about 4 a year?
I just felt so low and scared of being alone with bfs, that i felt 'I'm due on my period. They will want sex. If i can't give it to them, the will break up with me'.
So I would keep skipping the pill...often though I would forget to take it and come on, sometimes lightly, sometimes heavily, and to force it stop early would eat about 5 or 6 pills in one go...just to force it to stop. I'm not sure how many times a month this would happen, but I mainly used the pill just to stop having a period, the day I would start one.
I know I have probably ruined my body, and my hormones to say the least are all over the place...i was super hormonal and cry-ey and jealous and just an emotional wreck.
But now I'm worried it might have affected my fertility somehow? & Maybe make it harder for me to conceive in the future. (Which is my biggest fear)
I keep getting random pains in my right ovary kind of area.
I will go to my Dr at some point, but I just wondered if anyone knew of anything.
I am also looking to come off the pill and maybe lay off of anything estrogen related/cut down on eggs too. I think my body needs to cut out estrogen all together for a while. Also, I don't trust myself not to be tempted again, if i'm feeling low about myself. I know it works, so I might do it. I am thinking of going on the implant or coil or something instead, but not sure if I should come off all hormonal based contraceptives, or just change to something else?

I took an Oraquick home saliva test about 45 minutes after eating. The test was negative, but when I took the strip out after 20 minutes to throw it away, I noticed a food particle on the test pad (from some chips I had eaten an hour before) that had apparently been stuck to my gums and swept up by the pad. I know I am being paranoid to begin with by even testing (I have some issues with anxiety/OCD, which I freely admit), so not sure I want to invest in another test kit. My question is then, how likely is it that this food particle would actually affect the results? Would it be more likely to make the test falsely negative or falsely positive? I did get a control line, if that counts for anything...

I have just been diagnosed with LP vulvar, it has also affected my breasts and small patches on my torso. I've had it for a long time and just didn't know what it was, with flare ups that come and go- everywhere but the vulva, which has been rather constant and suddenly got worse about a month ago. Been in agony with the vulvar part for the past week because taking antibiotics for an ear infection meant severe thrush also got thrown into the mix.
The doctor said it was unusual for someone of my age to suffer from lichen planus (I'm 26), so I have to go to a dermatologist for their review. I'm also an IBS sufferer, I noticed on a lot of other posts that many people that mentioned LP/LS also have IBS.
I've been given Trimovate but, so far, the only thing that stops the itching long enough for me to get to sleep is Vagisil, which I'm worried will cause problems long-term even though it brings temporary relief.
I'm dreading going back to work tomorrow and don't know when/whether I'll get my sex life back with my amazing boyfriend. Feeling really rubbish

I'm not sure if it's related, I'm on prednisolone - gradually reducing from 40mg per day, now on 30 and reducing by 5mg every week. However in the last few days I get very sore legs when walking relatively short distances - mainly in my shins then spreading up my legs. Feels like cramp. It dies down quite quickly but as soon as I walk any sort of distance the pain comes back - has anyone else had this?

I have asthma usually managed with symbicort inhaler and ventolin reliever. I get intermittent chest infections and consequently I have been taking prednisolone occasionally for 5 years now - 2 or 3 times a year along with antibiotics when I feel I can no longer function at all normally and have to resort to going to the doctor's. I take 30mg a day for 5 days and they work very well. I am concerned reading other experiences of taking prednisolone and the horrendous sounding side effects. I have always known these drugs are not "good" for you but they have provided me with such effective and fast relief that I have continued to resort to them, albeit occasionally. I have no severe side effects - some interrupted sleep, heartburn etc. Can anyone tell me if, at the levels I am taking them, whether I am likely to suffer the side effects other people speak of - e.g. weight gain/redistribution, moon face, osteoporosis etc? Also whether the side effects go away and how long they last once you have stopped taking the pred?

Male 14 Years - Lump Under Nipple
I had this weird feeling for a while in my left breast just felt odd. I was feeling it the other night wondering what it was and felt a large disk shape under my nipple. I freaked out got really worried and then looked online and realised it could be puberty. But the symptoms are much more like the cancer ones. It's only in one breast and doesn't really hurt, doesn't look really much different but sometimes goes in, in the middle. I felt it tonight and it's a different shape, it's like a large oval shape just larger than my nipple a few inches maybe. It's hard very hard and really worrying me and upsetting me. Please help. I am a slim 23 year old male who regularly plays sports etc.. Around 4 years ago I first had that sharp stabbing pain in my upper right abdomen going through to my back, went in an ambulance to hospital and was diagnosed with constipation. This happened 4/5 times before I was finally diagnosed with gallstones 2 years ago. I had another attack not long after being diagnosed and it gave me pancreatitis because it was blocked in the tube ( or something along those lines), I sort of blame this on the lack of support from the hospital on what I should be eating and avoiding, I mean they was serving me fish and chips, pie etc in hospital and I didn't know any different. I then had the camera down my throat to try and remove the gallstones that way but something went wrong and they couldn't remove them (there is 2 medium to large gallstones).
since then I have been watching my diet like a hawk and I am very happy with what I can and can't eat. I eat chocolate regularly, pastries, low fat cheese, muffins etc and none of these have given me an attack I eat them in moderation and never more than 8 grams of fat in one go. Thinking about it only fried food and cheese have given me attacks.. Now the only attack I have had in two years was my fault because I brought the wrong fish pie ( I am fine with the low fat youngs ones but I got the regular one with 4x the fat )
anyway I am scared to death of hospitals, my mom died aged only 40 a few years ago due to hospital negligence so I'd do anything to avoid having an operation on the nhs, it also doesn't help that I have severe anxiety.. The hospital want me to get it removed but I honestly feel like I can cope and would like to explore all possibilities first.
is it possible I could live happily ever after without getting my gallstones removed and just maintaining a low fat healthy diet? What would you do in my situation?
I have seen lots of people on these forums that are having difficulties after having their gallbladder removed so even if I go through with it there is no guarantee?
