Although my throat spasms have now stopped I have started to have problems with my larynx.
Mucous seems to be trapped underneath it and collects at night. I wake up with a swollen larynx but no pain. Now my lymph nodes in my neck and the back of my head have swelled.
I also wake up every morning feeling unrefreshed, groggy and depressed.
I am still unable to swallow food.
Surely this can't be GERD?

Mind you I'm only 26 and have been checked from head to toe and told this is all anxiety
ENT :: E.coli On Tongue And Sore Throat
For 5 weeks now i have been going to doctors who said my white coated tongue is thrush. I have tried nystatin; fluconazole; clotrimazole; gentian violet (1%) tongue coating. All didn't work and the gentian made me sick.Finally my ENT took a tongue and throat swab for culture. The results were e coli. I'm to seek an infection disease specialist doctor. My taste is lousy and sour at times and the throat is sore. What can i take to get rid of this e coli? I'm going to go to another ENT for a tongue and throat culture. I still have some white and bumps on the tongue in the back.

10 days ago I had a vasectomy and I felt pretty good over the weekend, recovery has been fairly easy. We were able to have intercourse which at the time helped the minor pain in my testicles. However this weekend I had to chase my son all over the place at our church because he wouldn't stay out of things lol and I was picking up our baby some too. I over did it because now all the pain is back and I'm swelled up... what should I do? Eye Swelling When Drinking Beer?
I was wondering if there was anyway to stop eye swelling when drinking beer? When i drink beer only my right eye will swell, but if i drink enough it will go over to my left eye. When i would drink clear beverages like vodka or Smirnoff nothing would happen. is there any way to stop this?

I'm a 47 year old female prescribed this as a last resort in case my viral infection turns into a chest infection. I am very sensitive to any side effect and can't take a lot of the usual antibiotics because of this. Trimethoprim was a great one but caused severe blistering of the mouth and Erythromycin which caused severe breathing difficulties. One of the side effects on my leaflet with Oxy says it can cause 'swelling around the heart' - how safe is his stuff?? I have Left ventricular hypertrophy or LVH (the left side of my heart is enlarged) but my GP says this is nothing to worry about! Am I safe to take this drug with this condition?

So for nearly two years now I have had a growing pain over the ridge of my left foot, I'm almost positive that it is my extensor hallucis longus. The pain is not present when resting, unless I stretch my big toe up towards me, and is much worse if I apply a measure of force against it. Once I start to walk the pain gradually worsens until I cannot put pressure on that particular side of my foot due to it not being able to hold my weight without severe discomfort. The pain emerges the moment I start walking and within an hour maximum it will be at its peak. Once I have stopped walking, the ridge of my foot will be extremely swollen, about as large as a golf ball, dark red and bruised.
I have tried to stay off it for a time, at one point using crutches for a week, applying a bandage, stretching, loosening my laces, wearing different styles of shoes (converse high-tops are my usual preference, but tried trainers, boots and dress shoes too), applying ice to the affected area and also taking over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medicine, all to no avail. As I said, it's been just a few months shy of two years and is gradually getting worse both in pain and swelling/bruising.
Also just a small overview of my physical stature as I assume it could be of some use

Could anyone recommend any other course of action before I finally give in and consult my GP, and also confirm my suspicion of tendonitis, or speculate on other conditions it may or may not be?
ENT :: Swelling / Bulge In Front Of The Sternocleidomastoid?
I think I have swollen sternocleidomastoid, or a swelling / bulge in front of the muscle. my sister noticed it yesterday, it's not painful, i think it feels a bit tight possibly, but not sure i I'm feeling something now just because i'm aware of it...
i don't know how long its been like that, like i said, i only just noticed it yesterday, but it it is obviously bigger / more bulged on the right side of my neck than the left. like i say, it doesn't hurt, it doesn't feel like there's anything in there under the skin...i'm confused and concerned.
Broken Tibia, Foot Swelling?
I broke my tibia a week ago. I had a cast put on three days ago. I did not need surgery. I know that there is going to be swelling. I have been staying off of it and when I do get up I use crutches. Within five minutes of me being up my foot and toes swell very. bad and toes become cold and numb. Is this normal? My other concern is that my ankle actually feels better when it is slightly swollen. When should I worry about the swelling in my foot?
