Virgin :: How To Know If My Hymen Is Intact?
I am a female, 22 years old.I never had sex before , i mean I am still a virgin, but I have been masturbating myself for a couple of years.I usually satisfy myself with clitoris simulation ,but i have been playing with my vagina like inserting my finger and board marker and a lipgloss (not excessive stuff). I never bled doing so.I can easily insert a single finger inside my vagina, never inserted two fingers, even if i try to do so,it feels like it's going to hurt.I don't do fingering, as I do not find it enjoyable ,and my vagina is not that loose either.
But I recently got worried about me not having my hymen, and viewed myself in a mirror. From what i saw , i am pretty confused.
I saw zig-zag chunks of pink flesh in the almost upper half opening of my hole.the down half was like crescent shape, with a little bend in the extreme bottom( 6 o clock position). Also, there is one small tube 1 cm long dangling in the upper half of my vagina.
My question is that do I still have an intact hymen? and should I still believe that I will bleed on my first intercourse?

So I saw my PCP yesterday. Hadn't been able to get in to her for two years. She was great at listening to me. Finally after 10 years with LS she is referring me to a gyn at the hospital.
I want to ask for an estrogen cream. So my question to you all is what do you use on your vulva and do you have it compounded in something. If so what is it compounded with.

View 1 RepliesMenopause :: Estrogen Hormone Replacement Therapy
Estrogen hormone replacement therapy is now less scary than it was in 2002, and more women like myself are willing to take a second look at it. As I've said, I honestly think it is beneficial for a lot of reasons. I personally use estrogen to help with vaginal dryness, brain fog, short-term memory issues, and to help with insomnia.
I honestly did not realize for many years how helpful it was with these symptoms. Of course, for me, these symptoms didnât really manifest themselves to any significant degree until I reached actual menopause. Once we reach menopause (12 consecutive months without a menstrual cycle), our estrogen production in our body has decreased significantly. Hence, vaginal dryness, brain fog, short-term memory issues, and oh, the insomnia!
Pregnancy Age 35+ :: Cervical Shortening - Estrogen Dominanace
Any other women with this condition. I have lost a child in NICU. This pregnancy is going well enough and I believe I know what my issue has been along- same issue that causes PCOS, PMDD, Fibroids, many miscarriages, infertility, irregular periods, spotting, etc... ESTROGEN DOMINANCE.
View 2 RepliesEstrogen To Prevent Spotting From Depo-provera Shot?
I have heard that estrogen can be prescribed if you are experiencing spotting while taking the depo shot. I just had my second shot and am still experiencing the spotting! It started a lot sooner than it did the first time i got the shot. My doctor (family and my gyno) both say to just ignore the spotting. Which is okay when it is not heavy, but I went on the depo shot because a friend had suggested it to me. She said she experienced bleeding after the shot and was prescribed estrogen for it. She took it for 3 days and her periods and spotting stopped completely.
Now, my doctors will not prescribe me anything. My family doctor said he has never heard of this, and my gyno (which is the same doctor who prescribed her the estrogen) keeps saying ignore it. I went on my own with an old prescription of birth control pills and picked up a pack hoping it will work. I plan to take it today, however, if it does not work would one suggest picking up a OTC estrogen - if one exists? I'm in Canada. My friend says to try a new doctor, but I have been to many and another is just too much.
Originally my gyno was suggesting the IUD and with the horror stories I have heard I just wasn't interested which is why I went with the shot. The original BC pill had stopped working for me as spotting would occur (after 1 year or so) no matter which brand I would switch to.
I appreciate the help as I am quite concerned and just want the bleeding to stop at this point... My body now gives me no warning signs that bleeding will occur.
Fibromyalgia Syndrome :: Low Estrogen Testosterone For A Long Time?
Having recently been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia I changed Gp practices. My new GP just looked back at my notes and was in disgust. She said my estrogen testosterone and Insulin look like they have been low for a long time.. yet I've always been told my bloods are fine. She took more bloods and is going to have a look back at my notes. I'm just 30 and my symptoms have been going on 3 years. Extreme fatigue, constant pain/cramps in my legs hips and back, leg and arm weakness, my back completely goes, weight gain impossible to lose. A Lot of hair loss, anxiety, ibs, also had a breast infection 10 months. I'm now guessing I don't have fibro?

View 1 RepliesMenopause :: Hormone Therapy Weight Gain Temporary? Bioidentical Estrogen (estriol)
My ND recently put me on bio-identical estrogen (estriol) cream and progesterone capsules because I have severe chronic insomnia.
My sleeping has improved a bit, but I immediately gained about 15 pounds (I mean, within a couple of weeks) and I can't get it to budge. Most of it is on my chest and back, which is truly awful, since I have a tiny frame and was busty to begin with.
I keep reading about how the weight gain is temporary, but it's been three months now, and nothing has changed. I eat a low carb diet anyway, and I've always been on the slender side. As I just retired, I'm not in a position to just accept it and buy a whole new wardrobe.
Is this really temporary?
Pregnancy :: Tilted Uterus
When I went in for my appointment a couple weeks ago my doctor was trying to listen to my baby's heartbeat on the doppler and he couldn't find it. So he felt my uterus and told me that it was tilted backwards. He then sent me for an ultrasound and the baby was alright and they were able to hear the heartbeat. The doctor told me that my uterus wouldn't cause any problems and would not harm the baby, but I'm still kinda worried about it. Does anyone have this and is farther along having a normal pregnancy? Just wondering because I am only 10 weeks.

Worried. Going in next week for D&C and hysteroscopy. (Whatever that is)
Had a biopsy 2 years ago and came out ok. I am 60 years old with prolapse
level 3 cystocele. Was getting bladder infections every 3 months and seems like I was always on antibiotics which I am starting to get immune to. Not sure if I should be getting a D&C or just another biopsy. No bleeding at all. Also they are giving me General ANESthesia which don't know if this is the right choice. Also how long do you need to stay home after before returning to work? REally appreciate your help. Scared!!! May need repair lift or hysterectomy. Not sure which one or if should take out ovaries of leave in and just do lift. Just don't know what to do. Don't like pessaries
Women :: Pain In The Uterus After Sex
I am going to the doctor in a week but I wanted some possible ideas of what it could be on here.
I am a 19 year old girl, I've been with my boyfriend for 3 months. STD free. I am on the birth control Implanon. But its gone now. We have sex about every other day. He is bigger than the previous guys I've been with.
The last two weeks have been a bit of an issue. Sex feels fine, but right after we're done I have this pretty bad pain in my lower abdomen, where my uterus and cervix is. It just feels exactly like very bad period cramps. I have no other symptoms. I am supposed to be getting my period in about a week. The only change I can think of is he has been lasting longer lately, to where he's inside of me for 45 minutes straight. The pain only lasts for about 10 minutes after we have sex.
Is it possible he is being too rough and too long in me which is causing pain? I am a petite girl. Or is it something else? Sorry, I'm a bit of a hypochondriac. Could it be an infection?

View 1 RepliesBugling And Prolapsed Uterus
I have noticed a 'bulge' in my lower region, made an appointment with the gp who was very unsympathetic, she told me i was really at the wrong place (possibly because i made an emergency appointment?) wasn't sure what else to do, she asked me if i wanted her to examine me? to which i replied yes, when she did it hurt very much even after having children, she said i had a prolapsed uterus but to do some pelvic floor exercises, as a gynae would say the same and to go back in 4 weeks, she made it seem like it's very mild, it is however lying along the floor of my vagina (is the only way to describe it) there is also some of it bulging out, i can feel my coil strings when i wipe. I feel like i have just 'been left' and am very distressed about the whole thing. i can't see that pve would help when it seems my muscles must have already gone? Any advice would be very much appreciated.
