Herpes :: HSV 1 Was 67 Percent And HSV 2 Was 2.75
My daughter recently had an encounter with unprotected sex with her boyfriend, he proceeded to tell her after sex that he had herpes and had only had it for 7 months with only 2 outbreaks, who knows if this is true or not. She broke up with him and I told her to go to the gynecologist and get screened for STDs. she has had no outbreaks and they have not had sex for 2 weeks. they said her pap smear was fine and they did blood work on her for hsv1 and hsv2. the MD called and said that her HSV1 was 67 percent and HSV 2 was 2.75. he said this was very low and that she has probably had it for a long time and did not contact it from this recent partner. I also read that combined testing of hsv1 and hsv2 can be false positives. she has had absolutely no symptoms at all. does this mean she has genital herpes or is there any other test that can be done to make sure she doesn't have it. she is 22 and having major panic and anxiety or this, it is breaking my heart.

Having deal with PHN now for 7 years it still is important to me to share information with others that are afflicted by this terrible condition or with others that suffer from chronic pain. Important because it is reassuring is to hear how others are impacted and trying to cope in their lives. It is terrible to constantly have to turn down or cancel social engagements because you cannot bare the pain, are so distracted that you can't focus on a conversation or do an activity that you enjoyed before. You get tired of responding to people "how do you feel" "how is it going" and many times you don't look that bad. One doctor said PHN is like the pain of cancer but without the relief of death. Not looking for sympathy from others but it is tough on family and friends given they don't really understand. I tell people now best the pain of a stinging nettle and worst is like a bad burn/scalding and rubbing sandpaper on it. People also don't understand (as I dont as well) why it strikes when it does. Everyday for me - but usually later in day after I have had too much irritation from the clothes. I want to say thank you to a number of people on this site for giving me my sanity back.

I was told way back in August of 2013 I had copd. Smoked for 33 years. Started when I was 13. Did stop smoking in October. Now on 12 meds daily and get out of breath doing just about anything. I own a lawn mowing biz but getting harder and harder to do my job and getting ticked off clients because I cant keep up. Have been getting real depressed about everything. Someone told me to keep a daily blog about my life with copd. Started that about a month ago. Its somewhat therapeutic, it at least lets me get stuff off my chest so to speak. And maybe someone will read it and go hey i'm going through the same crap. In my case its hard to find folks going through it or those that do who even want to talk about it. So if your getting depressed i would recommend doing a blog. No one may ever read it, but you will be able to get out all the stuff you want to say. I feel it is my duty to share my information that I have gathered on this problem from my pricy doctor and share this information for free.
First do not clean area with soap it is only going to make it worse and more pain full and dry out the area. Most people think that the itching means their dirty so they will use excise amounts of soap actually making the problem worse.
My case was so bad I had to buy a plastic seat cover and sit my butt in the warm water for 15 minutes 2 times a day for 5 weeks. Let me tell how much this relieved the pain. It cost around 35 dollars and is a well worth the money.
Then you must purchase Prax lotion this stuff works amazing and use every time after you use the bathroom. After a 2 days I was able to have a full nights rest.
Then buy Calmol 4: use them for up to 4 times a day. It's very awkward to get used to and this is coming from a guy but I don't know what I would do.
I am telling you if you follow these directions you will be fine in a matter of 2 weeks after the first time of this treatment it was truly amazing felt like my old but again.
I no longer have to use the seat or the lotion. I am just using the Calmol 3-4 times a week once or twice a day and it is proving its effectiveness. It may seem like a lot but if you want to be comfortable and be able to go on trips and not worry then please follow these steps.

Not one to be on a super health kick but I do not eat fast food often but I do have my fare share of Pizza's chinese food and cheese steaks god I love cheese steaks could go for one right now extra hot peppers but anyway I also drink heavy on the weekends I'm talking like black out drunk. I'm not saying its going to work for everyone but this has been working for me for the past year without any blood when I wipe and what not. After a nights of drinking I apply the Calmol 4 and a nice wipe with the lotion and I am back in action. Also try to stay away from the soda.
**** Sorry for the rant but I think it is my duty for spending so much at the butt doctor and it could have been resolved if he told me these steps and I could have saved a bunch of money like in the thousands of dollars. I had to see him once a month costing 600 a visit for almost 8 months. Almost made me go broke.

I'm extremely scared. I signed myself into inpatient to get off from opiates and I was doing well. When they released me however, they wouldn't release me with the klonopin script that I had brought in. When I signed myself in they never told me the rule of them keeping it. So I got out and my anxiety and panic was so bad without the klonopin I didn't know why to do. Mind you I've been on benzos going on six years now. I've never abused them. I ended up going back on opiates because it eased my anxiety. I've also found some benzos to hold me over but tomorrow I'm out. I've been on the phone for three weeks now and had three appointments with my therapist about getting my script refilled. Well because I signed in to inpatient they first had to get those records. They finally did that and I thought the next week I could get my script and get back on course. Nope! Now because I'm going to intensive outpatient they have to talk to them first. Which would be fine if my therapist didn't only work two days a week and keep putting it on hold. I've went to the er as I was told to do and told them everything. They treated me like I was looking for drugs and wouldn't help me. I've made so many phone calls trying to get help that I feel I'm now out of options. No one is willing to help me now that I've tried to get help for my addiction. I'm terrified I'm going to have a seizure and god knows what else. I cannot fully live without the klonopin or a benzo. Without it I'm laying in the house. In bed or on the couch, afraid to even move as I think I will die. Nothing feels right. I feel like I'm in a dream land. I start to see things that are not there. I feel as I'm walking that the floor is moving with me. I cannot even shower as I don't feel steady. I don't know what to do anymore and I cannot find the help I need. I cannot keep living this way. If anyone has any advice please please let me know. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

I have been on 1.25mg of bisoprolol for nearly a year now. I was put on it due to an irregular heartbeat. my heart would either miss a beat or totally go into overdrive. The doctor never sent me for further tests. So my question is what causes this problem. Asthma :: Fast Heart Rate
I am 24 years old, 82kg and been stressing about my health for the past month.
I first experienced a very fast heart rate from a short 2 min jog up the road were i had to stop and wait for my heart rate to slow down.
now since then my stamina has gradually gone right down to the point were I am unable to go up two flights of stairs without my heart racing and feeling out of breath. bearing in mind at rest I only experience a tight chest no shortness of breath.
To rule out heart problems I recently had a Echo-cardiogram,ECG,holter test and a chest x-ray. I was told all my valves were fine, my arteries were not blocked and my ecg came back abnormal but it was not serious. (all these tests were done in the past 3 weeks)
Now as I had my consultation with an expert they noticed I was wheezing and I explained to her every single day my chest feels sore and tight. even now as i type laying on my bed. I was diagnosed with asthma when I was a child but I seemed to grow out of it, however back in 2006 I had similar feeling to what I have experiencing now which is tight chest pains, shortness of breath. but I cant remember my heart jumping really high from exertion of walking up the stairs.
so now I am going to visit my asthma clinic on thursday to see what they say,suggest etc.
So my question is could these symptoms of tight chest and short breath be linked to my fast heart rate?
