Tiguan :: Passenger Seat Folded Down Warning
Notice this:
Why can you not have someone in the back seat directly behind the passenger seat if the passenger seat is folded down? Hell, it even says no one can be in the back-middle-seat either! Kind of ridiculous, don't you think? What is the specific reason?
Tiguan :: 2009 - Passenger Seat Warmer Not Working
I have a 2009 Tiguan. The passenger side seat warmer does not work. The driver side seat warmer works, and apparently adequately.
I know, using the multimeter, that the connection between the control module (under the driver seat) and the harness on the passenger seat is intact. However, I cannot detect any voltage coming from the control module to the passenger seat.
Looking for a wiring diagram showing the 8-pin configuration of the control module and the respective plug? I want to see if there is current coming from the seat warmer switch, but there seems to be two same-colored wires (likely representing the left and right [driver and passenger] circuit) and before I start poking around with the multimeter, I want to be sure what is what.
Also, I assume the seat warmer has a thermostat. Any guidance about determining the correct resistance?
Tiguan :: 2011 - Difference Between Clockspring And Steering Control Module For Retrofit?
I see these 2 terms almost interchanged. I understand they have different functions. Clockspring is power to airbag and control module connects to, in my case, the CAN-BUS that actually sends the signals. Am I correct in my thinking here? I have just about put all the pieces together for my MK6 MFSW retrofit and still wondering if I'll need a new clockspring or not.

We have a new to us 2010 F150 Lariat with only 20K Miles on it. The seat heater module on drivers side went out and the back slider window leaks water bad when we take it through the car wash. Is this possible? We were told nothing of this when we purchased it from this same Ford dealer.

I have a 2012 Accent hatchback. The previous owner took good care of the interior except for the fold down armrest. I see a zipper on the back of the armrest cover,I assume to remove for cleaning but I do not see how to remove the armrest to clean the cover. I suppose I could scrub it in place but it really needs scrubbing.

135 plus pound passenger with seat belt on. Was intermittent on/off with passenger but now seems always off (off light 'on' ) meaning the passenger airbag is disabled.
I know the es350 was so bad like this that there was a threat of class action. I've read the weight sensor is in the passenger seat rail and you can also do a calibration with a scan tool.

I don't usually have to drop the rear seats for storage... So the other day I push the drivers side "60%" seat down and it clicks into place. Sweet. I go around to the other side of the car and.... the passengers side rear seat does not lie flat. The bottom doesn't move at all. And I'm thinking, um, did it ever?

My Tiguan seems to have a quirk where after getting into the vehicle and adjusting the seat position either with the switches or holding one of the numbers (1, 2, or 3), there is absolutely no response. After driving for a couple minutes, the power seat controls magically come to life.
This happens maybe 1/10 times I get into the vehicle. I am adjusting the seat with the vehicle in park. If it doesn't work, I have to wait a few minutes and am able to adjust it while in drive. The controls work while in either park or drive 9/10 times.
I am trying to reproduce this more consistently before bringing it to the dealership otherwise there will be no fault found and I'll look crazy!
Tiguan :: 2010 - Muffler Noise And Very Bumpy Back Seat
I recently took a ride in the back seat of my 2010 Tiguan and noticed that the muffler noise is loud enough to cause headache on long rides. Also I noticed that the back seat vibrates a lot with any tiny imperfection on the road while the front seat you barely feel any vibration on rough roads. Is it only my car?

I have a 2009 Tiguan and after my car sat out overnight in a heavy rain I noticed a very odd thing today. Like normal the car smelled a little musty, something I've gotten used to after a rain. But I think I've found the cause. I hit my brakes hard to try to stop the squeakiness (another normal quirk after the rain) and I heard water running in the back seat. I looked back and saw water running on the floor beneath the passenger back seat. I hit the brakes hard again while looking back and watched it pour out of the other side beneath the plastic strip beneath the seat. I pulled over and looked and there are these little black channels underneath there where I believe the water came from. What are those and where is that water originating from? Is this normal?!

Is it possible to VAG the Tig seats to be able to automatically move back when I open the driver side door so there's more leg room to get out and also move back to last driver seat settling once you start the car? Took my 99 XLT super cab to a Ford dealer to have a new key made (I have only one so can't do it myself). I was told the PAT (Passive Anti-Theft) module wouldn't communicate with their system.....
As I understand it, the PAT module communicates wirelessly to the key module under the steering column. Since the PAT module is obviously working (the truck cranks, starts and runs fine). What are they talking about?
Camry :: Removing Passenger Side Air Vent Cover?
using a can of compressed air to clean the dust in the vents and the straw came loose and now its stuck inside the vent and whenever I make a turn I can hear the straw rolling around.
How do I actually remove the passenger side air vent cover? (nearest to the door) I tried to pry on it with a screwdriver but it doesn't seem like it wants to move. I actually asked the local dealer and they said I would have to remove the whole dash to access inside the vent. Do I really need to remove the whole dash or should I try to apply more pressure?
Tiguan :: 2011 - High Line Power Seat Won't Work And Fog Lights Do Not Turn On
Just picked up my new 2011 Tiguan High Line today and after I got home I realized that the driver power seat does not work. Is there a way to reset it myself? Or I have to go to the deal again to have them do it?
And also, the fog lights do not turn on. I tried to turn on all the light while vehicle is parked in the garage, but everything works except fog lights. I referred to the Owner's Manual and pulled the nob out, turned it to the required location, but nothing happens.
Lexus GX 2004-09 :: Passenger Side Engine Cover Missing?
