Lexus GX 2004-09 :: Maintenance Required Light Blinked Five Times And Turned Off
So just trying to find out if this is normal. This is my wife's car so I don't drive it every day. I started it up to pull out of the garage and noticed the maint Req'd light blinking, it blinked about five times and turned off. Does it mean anything? if so, what? Just rolled over 100K. We bought it in late january and all the PM was done just wondering if they reset the oil reminder or what.

I have a 2010 LEXUS RX350. I followed the instructions to reset the tire low pressure warning light. It blinked three times but did not stay off. I have 34psi in each tire including the spare. Can the sensors in the valves be checked to see if one of them is bad?

On my V6 2004 (just hit 120,000 kms, just changed the oils 2 weeks ago) I was driving on the hiway yesterday, when the whole vehicle started shaking and vibrating - engine light blinked a few times, then stayed ON solid.
I could reduce the shaking by letting go on the throttle pedal, so I stopped and checked, nothing obvious, oil level good etc. I could hear some sort of clunking noise when engine was revved up.

Got 10 gal. gas and pulled into drive-thru; idling in park, the engine stuttered once, then died. First retry it started, ran rough for 1 second and died; second retry i tapped repeatedly on gas and it ran VERY rough for 1 second and died, never to start again. It turns over fine. Where the fuel filter is to test pressure? BTW, it has nearly half million miles on it! 473k+

So -- I load up the trailer on the 2011 6.7L (56,000 miles) this morning, head out onto the interstate for some Sunday fun and in the "middle" of a regen my Torque App (EGT) temp shoots up violently, the truck stutter steps, downshifts HARD and I'm bingo ground speed and have to pull over as the engine dies, quite catastrophically -- since I work on vehicles and have a shop I know better than to try cranking it after this type of "event", so I call AAA and have them tow it off to the dealership's service bay entrance.
As background, this vehicle has already been back to the dealership (under warranty) five times for replacement of the turbo, fuel pump, computer, and various diagnostic codes issues. I'm not particularly pleased with the fuel mileage and today's problem makes me think it's time to investigate a lemon type issue with the dealership.
I'm pretty confident that something internal went haywire in the engine (e.g. valve), but since it's still under warranty (100,000) I'm letting the dealer "deal" with it --- should it end being in the engine internals I may just leave it with the dealership and pursue a lemon charge against Ford.
Passat (B6) :: CEL Blinked For A Few Seconds And Then Went Solid - Car Sat For A Week
So the car just went off warranty like 1000km ago. Last week I left it sitting in my driveway while I was out of town for a week. I just started it and the CEL blinked for a few seconds and then went solid.
Other than sounding cold (it's canada and there were three snow storms while I was gone) the car runs fine. I shut it off... restarted and again, blinking CEL and then to solid.

Anyways, I was driving to school today. Going about 45mph on on off ramp that curves slightly when my Slip indicator light turned on and blinked maybe 10 times or so. I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow as the manual suggest. My car only has 7,500 miles.

I recently had my tpms light turn on when I started my car in the morning. It blinked for about a minute and then stayed on. After checking my tire pressure and seeing they were all normal, I checked online and found that when the tpms light acts like it is for me, it means there is a malfunction somewhere, so rather than deal with trying to fix it, I went into vagcom to turn it off. I went to the proper byte/box for tpms and unchecked it. But the light is still on...

Trying methods found elsewhere on this site not working anymore. No matter how much wd-40 and door slamming I do, I am getting the 4 short honks on lock and 2 on unlock. No door ajar light and interior lights go off as normal so it doesn't seem to be door open sensor.

When I turn off the ignition, the drivers door lock unlocks or pushes the arm through the door for up to 30-60 seconds over and over again. I would say like 10 times and it is annoying as hell.
Is the only part in the door that controls this the actuator or is there something else that can be doing this?

I had been having battery issues with my 97 ford f150 4.6 liter for the longest time, thought i had a short under dash, i pulled entire dash out, disconnecting bat first of course, and inspected all wiring harness connections and fixing my issues and putting it all back together. now with new bat and all put back together i am now getting the airbag light flashing 5 times then 2 times (error code 52) i know it has some thing to do with power failure or backup battery, but now with the new battery in i cant seem to get it to reset. How to do this?

I've got a 2006 Prius, it's done this a few times before but self-resolved, this time it stayed dead- cold morning pressed power- all the gear lights blinked on-off, the fuel gauge goes up and down and no ability to engage gears.
I jumped it and got it to look "normalish": in park, normal dashboard lights, etc but when I tried to engage the gear into drive it just wanted to go to neutral. i thought maybe it knows that it's still attached to the jumper so I unhooked all that and when I got back into the prius it was dead-dead again- no lights, nada. I was doing this by myself.

I have a 90 toyota celica st. I was driving it the other day and it died on me while driving... twice! The second time was going down a steep hill and it was freaken scary for a minute as the breaks were not working, the car started again and I was able to stop! Anyway I know enough about cars that once your car starts it should not die. Could it be the alternator? It seems to start up just fine. I did notice though that when the car died on me both times I was taking a pretty sharp right turn. And when it died every thing blinked twice then out went everything. Im sure that it is a code for something but I do not have the owners manual as I was not the original owner. I just started it up today again and it makes a weird clicking noise before I even turn the key.

Last night, I changed to winter wheels and drove today with no problem. Just now one the way home, the low tire pressure warning light blinked for a minute and remained on. I checked the tire pressure and all 4 tires are even at 35psi. I tightened all wheels properly at 76 ft/lb using a torque wrench.
