Santa Fe (CM - 2007-12) :: Turn Signal Relay Replacement?
I've changed out all of my external lights for led's, including the turn signals. I had planned on replacing the turn signal relays with led comparable versions but have been unable to find the relays in the fuse boxes. The box that does the actual clicking under the dash seems like it could be it but it looks completely proprietary to this model, and not readily available in the compatible version.
I ended up installing resistors for now but that's caused other problems with my lights. Now when I turn my high beams on all 4 turn signals light up solid and I am unable to use them until I turn the highs off.
So, I would love to know if I do have a relay replacement option for my 2012 Santa Fe...
Santa Fe (CM - 2007-12) :: Turn Signal Noise Won't Stop
All my turn and hazard signals work normally when engaged but when it snaps back into the off position the turn signal (sound only) keeps going rapidly. It goes on and off randomly. It's the sound in the dash only. What it is? I can replace it myself I just need to figure out what it is.

My wife's '07 has that fast-blink thing going on with the left turn signal. The thing is, none of the bulbs are out. It does appear that the front ones are dimmer than the ones on the right (which work fine).
View 8 RepliesSanta Fe (CM - 2007-12) :: Right Turn Signal And Bulbs On Steady All The Time
I'm trying to figure out what has failed on my 2008 Santa Fe.
After stopping at a gas station today, my right turn signal came on and stayed on. By this I mean that the right turn arrow on the dash is illuminated and both the front and rear right turn signal bulbs are illuminated. They are all on steady, not flashing. Moving the turn signal stalk/switch does nothing. They all stay on when the car is turned off and the key removed. I have to disconnect the battery to get them to shut off. I tried pulling the turn signal, hazard and cluster fuses in the dash, but they had no effect. The switch for headlamps/park lights has no effect on the right side bulbs.
The left turn signal works normally.
Also, it may be related to having unplugged the battery a couple of times, but now the CD player shows "initializing" and I can't use it. The am/fm stereo works normally.
Santa Fe (CM - 2007-12) :: 2008 - Turn Signal Relay Location
I cant find the location of the Turn signal relay, its not in the Relay box under the hood nor is it on the fuse panel under the dash, i'm planning on installing LED blinkers and i want to switch out the relay to a LED compatible one, where it is?

Santa Fe (CM - 2007-12) :: Turn Signal Light Bulbs Flash Rapidly Both In Front And Rear
My 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe right hand turn signal light bulbs flash rapidly both in the front and rear, the left hand side is normal. I am trying to locate the turn signal flasher module but without any luck, looked under the dash in the fuse box and under the hood in the relay box. Is it in the relay box...
View 7 RepliesSanta Fe (DM - 2013+) :: Driver Side HID Headlight Turn Off After Putting Turn Signal On
I was on the way home tonight and I noticed the driver side HID headlight turn off after putting my turn signal on.
I have LED DRL fog lights installed and they're wired with no relay and plugged into the Engine Compartment fuse box. The installer connected them on the left side (where the wires come in, from the two black components by the air filter).
Could this wiring setup be interfering with the HID's?
Ford Wiring/Electrical :: 2006 E150 - Turn Signal Quit Working / Brake Lights Not Working
Turn signals quit working on my 2006 E-150. Swapped out the relay under the dash and it did nothing. Also noticed the brake lights aren't working. The headlights and taillight a are working. I pulled the fuses under dash for the lights and they tested ok. I did notice the flasher relay was making clicking sounds intermittently even when not touching anything.

I could not find a picture of the 2013+ SFS headlight harness connector. I'm trying to wire a 6 ohm resistor across the turn signal as my LED upgrade is causing the fast flash problem(I expected this). The only place I can tap into that circuit is probably the headlight harness, preferably through the connector. I tried to measure the voltage on the connector, but the contact is too small and narrow for the probe to make physical contact. I even tried to put a cutout paper clip into those tiny holes, but still no dice. The wire colors are different between driver and passenger side, and the Sonata forum was indicating it is the top right corner for the positive lead of the turn signal. Which wire is the + & - for the turn signal.

This issue happened once a year ago but just started reoccurring two days ago.

View 3 RepliesTouareg :: Turn Signal Indicators Not Working?
New to the Touareg game, but i have had (4) vw's including my R32 (Touareg is my wife's car) and we are experiencing our first problem. Wife called me on the phone and said that the turn signal indicators on the dash are NOT working but the signal lamps on the outside of the vehicle ARE working.
I haven't been able to check the car yet seeing as she is not home and I am still at work. So I guess my question would be, could it be a fuse? or what... electrical gremlin...? I had her shut the car off and take the key out of the ignition and then start the car back up but no dice...
Ford Excursion :: Left Turn Signal Not Working
I'm having problems with my left turn signal not working. It sounds like it's blinking super fast from inside the vehicle, the left turn dash light does not illuminate, and the outside front bulb does not blink. When I turn my emergency flashers on, the left front still doesn't work, but all others do. All the other bulbs are in working order. I searched through some old threads on this and couldn't find much other than to replace the bulb and bulb housing, which I did with no luck.
View 14 RepliesFord - Explorer :: Turn Signal Lever Not Working
Purchased new one from Advanced Auto parts. It worked for a few days and is back to doing what the other part was doing. When I engage the lever to turn right it works but when try to signal to the left it doesn't always work. It makes a noise that sounds like it is shorting out and doesn't turn the signal light on.
Depending on how I have the steering wheel turned, sometimes I can hold it to allow for the signal to blink. I replaced the lever, that BTW, also operates the brights and the windshield wipers, for the very same malfunction. I was not able to pass TX state inspection. Now I,m wondering if it isn't something else that may be causing the lever not to engage. can it be a loose wiring harness?
Santa Fe (CM - 2007-12) :: Signal Lights Stop Flashing
I am having an issue with the turn signals on my 2010 Santa Fe. When changing lanes to the right and moving the turn signal lever up slightly, the turn signals activate normally. However, when releasing the lever, the signal lights stop flashing (as they should), but the flasher clicks at a rapid rate and won't stop. I have to jiggle the turn signal lever to get it to stop clicking. I have checked all lights and the bulbs are fine.

View 4 RepliesFord - Explorer :: Turn Signal On Driver Side Not Working
My turn signal on the driver’s side isn’t working. It clicks quickly like when the bulb is out. The rear one on that side still works, but blinks quickly…which is normal when the front one isn’t working. It didn’t just stop working all at once. Over the course of the last year or more, it has gradually gone out--it would work for a few days and not for a while. A few months ago, it worked about half the time. Now it won’t ever work and I’m due for an inspection. Here is what I’ve determined so far:
It isn’t the bulb…I’ve tried a new bulb.
It isn’t the socket. I took the socket in my hand in the picture and switched it with the passenger side and the driver side still didn’t work and the passenger still did worked.
The plug that the socket goes into on the picture…I cleaned it good and used a little lubricant on it, but that didn’t work either. If that plug is bad, the local parts stores don’t carry it and can’t get it, so I'll have to go to the Ford House.
