Prius (2010-12) :: Check Engine Light P0A93 - Hybrid Overheat Alerts
Gen3 Prius. Once it turned 100k miles I took it in for an inverter coolant change per the maintenance schedule. The dealer charged $109 for this and the car had absolutely no issues prior. Got the coolant changed on 7/23 and then drove it short distances in town for two weeks with no issues. Once I drove it on weekend longer road trip got a check engine light P0A93 "inverter A cooling system performance". Shortly there after started getting hybrid overheat alerts and pulled over to let it cool.
I checked the inverter coolant reservoir and it was still above full. After letting things cool, I turned it back on and listened to the water pump. Seemed to be running fine, heard it clearly with my ear up to a long screw driver, touching the pump. Noticed that the hose leading to the pump was vibrating but the return hose out of the inverted was not. Also no turbulence in the reservoir. My guess is that they didn't bleed air out of the system.

New 2015 PIP, got it 2 months ago, and it drove fine till Thursday, when this message came up. I believe I first got a "Charge interrupted due to malfunction" and then the dreaded "Check Hybrid System, Stop the vehicle in a safe place." alert with all the engine lights on.
Took it to the dealer and they charge it up, cleared the message, and gave it back. They told me it was because I shared the car's outlet with something else, and then threatened to charge me money if I came back because it was my fault. Took it home, charged it exactly the way they told me to, and this morning the error message came back up. Going to take it in to the dealer tomorrow.

The 2005 Prius I bought has had the AC compressor replaced 3 times in about 6 months with new toyota parts, the repair shop told the man I bought the car from not to bring it back there anymore they cant find the problem and toyota will not replace the compressor again for free...I guess 2 replacements is their limit.
The AC blows warm and Im not sure how to tell if the compressor is working or not, the inside fan works on all speeds, the fan by the radiator comes on but is VERY loud....of course I don't leave it on, only for testing to try to find the problem.
Where to look or why this car is burning up compressors.

I am not going to use my Prius for six months. What can I do to keep the starter battery alive? this battery is almost new. Also would like to hear if the long period of inaction will affect the main battery.

So on my vr6 gti I have been getting the dash alerts that my driver's door, right rear door (It''s a two door so this confuses me as well), and my trunk is open. Well none of those things are open.
It fixed itself somehow a while back but when someone moved my car and used the spare valet key, the problem started all backup. I have to turn my interior lights off and I took out the little sound dinger in the HUD so it would stop beeping and drive me nuts.

Does the 2015 GX 460 beeps when you're really near an object? Mine only alerts me when there is a moving object. I checked the lexus park assist and it's on but no alert. It doesn't alert when I'm reversing or when I'm driving forward when I'm parallel parking.

I have a 2003 Buick LeSabre with 187,000 miles (mostly highway) that skips/jerks sometimes when accelerating, even when in cruise control. It only does this every month or so; and, of course, never does it when the mechanic is in the car. No warning lights have ever appeared and my mechanic says no codes have shown up in three diagnostic tests.
In the last 1.5 years, the following items have been replaced: power steering rack, oil pressure sensor, FE control arm bushing, intake manifold gasket, oil pan gasket, transmission mount, water pump, rear struts. In 2010, an alternator, thermostat, mass air flow sensor and front brake pads were installed. Oil is changed as scheduled; tires are rotated as required and car is serviced at the first sign of any problem. Other than occasional skipping, car is in pristine condition and rides like a charm.
The most recent skipping occurred March 29th when I was 200 miles from home. It lasted sporadically for about 10 miles and did not occur in the other 190 miles.

Aside from disconnecting the battery, is there anything I can/should do before I leave so that the car will be drive able when I get back? (I did this a few summers ago and did nothing to prepare; when I got back, the car did start, but a few days later it died and I had burned out the alternator. Would like to avoid doing that again!

My 2000 GTI VR6 has been sitting around for a while (since Oct/Nov 2013). Now the car wont turn on. Dash lights up, and no clicking noise of dead battery (actually just put in a new battery). Makes those noises when turning on, but engine never gets going.
What should I check? Battery terminals seem fine. Coilpack? Corroded terminals somewhere else?
VE Calais Not Been Driven For 2 Months Now Fuel Flap Won't Open
I have a VE Calais which has not been driven for 2 months now apart from a dead battery the fuel flap wont open (you just push them and it opens when car is unlocked) have opened it slightly and squiterd wd 40 still wont open.
