Prius (2004-09) :: 2007 - AC Blowing No Air When Turned On

Long story short, my Ac went out yesterday morning. There is absolutely NO AIR blowing out at all, not hot or cold... Its been 2 days and its about 120* where I live. I have a 2007 bought new, 150k miles on it and have NEVER had any problems with anything...

Passat (B5) :: 2003 - Calculated Ambient Air Temperature Too Low?

I drive a 2003 Passat (B5.5) 1.6 petrol (102HP)

I noticed the problem now, because I wanted to test the electric cooling fan (part 8D0 959 455 R). I want to test it because I have changed the carbon brushes that was worn out in the motor. The fan is now reinstalled in the car and just waiting for some voltage through the standard wire harness. To make this fan spin I figured I could just activate the A/C compressor by setting the Climatronic in "LO" (no ECON). Because it is below freezing outside, I drove my car inside a heated parking garage and let it stay there for an hour or two. For some reason the A/C compressor does not start when I go "LO", even if the car is warm and placed in a warm environment. I noticed that the outside air temperature indicator in the instrument panel and on Climatronic LCD-display showed -3 'Celcius (Just below 32 'F).

After some internet searching I thought that one or both of the air temperature sensors (G17 and G89) were at fault. However, they both seem to be ok. (I even measured the resistance of the ambient temperature sensor, G17, with a DMM and it had the correct value of 1.25 kohm @ 20 'Celcius and 3.8 kohms @ -3.5 'C). In VAG-COM, I read the relevant measuring blocks (08-Auto HVAC, Group 6) for the sensors, and they both show plausible temperatures. See enclosed VAG-COM screenshot. The calculated temperature however (as shown on the cars instrument and Climatronic displays) is way low. A couple of times, calculated temperature has been exactly 10,0 'C. This temperature is identical to the substitute value in case of double sensor signal failure (according to VAG Self Study Program 208 part II, page 48)

The calculated temp looks correct around freezing point (0'C/32'F) and colder, but never catches up when the car is taken to the warm garage. I even logged the relevant temp info in VAG-COM when I was driving in and out of the warm garage. See enclosed chart screenshot from MS Excel.

I have tried to disconnect the battery for 15-20 minutes, but that did not fix the problem. Is it possible that the circuits that calculate the outside temperature get different sensor temperature values than the OBD system gets and shows me through VAG-COM? When the temperature problem is solved, I can continue to check if my electric cooling fan works...

Ford A/C :: 1996 F350 - Air Coming Out Warmed Up To Ambient Temperature

I have a 96 F350 Crewcab longbed 4x4 and about a week ago I noticed that at idle speed (ie stopping at a stop light) the temperature of the air coming out of the A/C warmed up to ambient temperature. When I accelerated and held highway speed the air would cool back down. i listened for the clutch to engage and it would engage for 1 second and then disengage for 5 seconds. i hooked up one of those cheap gauges from auto zone. With the truck running the clutch would engage at 40 stay on until it went to 20 and the shut off. Also the A/C has completely quit cooling. By the way its HOT here.

Lexus ES 2007-12 :: 2009 ES350 - Driver Side AC Vent Blowing Warm Air

I have a 2009 Lexus ES350. For some reason I got in the car today and I turn on my car and turn on my AC unit on, the driver side ac vent was blowing warm-cold air while the passenger side was blowing nice cold air. I thought it was my fuse, so I disconnect both AC fuse for a hour and reconnected back on and noting change.

Prius (2010-12) :: 2013 - Vent Blowing Cool Air At Higher Temps?

I purchased a brand new 2013 Prius 2 last October and I'm loving it so far.

However, I notice that even if it's slightly warm outside, and I have my cabin temp set at a higher temperature than outside, the vent blows cooler air.

For example, the other day it was 65F outside. Since it was warmer than usual, I turned down the cabin temperature to 65F as well. It was nice and cool, but a little TOO cold. So I turned it up to 70F. It was still blowing cold air. I had to turn it up to 72F before it was warm enough to feel comfortable.

Corolla / Matrix 2009-13 :: 2010 - AC Just Blowing Ambient Air / Not Cold

I do have an issue with a 2010 Toyota Corolla A/C. It is not blowing any cold air, just ambient air.

Try troubleshooting it by checking the freon on the low port. Reading was very high so it seems like the compressor clutch is not engaged. However, in reading up about 2010 version, I found there is actual no physical compressor clutch. There is also no "relay" to bypass such that you can engage the clutch. Reading further seems to indicate that it's a solenoid system, which I'm not familiar with.

Golf/GTI VII :: AC Turns On When Vent Air On Or Change Temperature Dial

When ever I turn my vent air on or change the temperature dial in my golf (non-climate control) the A/C turns on. If I just have the heater on and its too warm and I turn the dial from red toward blue the A/C will turn it self on. If I keep the heat the same and turn the fan from 1 to 2 the A/c will turn itself on. (At least the A/C signal lights up yellow.)

Is this normal for the golf or is something screwy? maybe it needs the ac to dehumidify or something but it is tough to constantly manually turn off the a/c. And btw If I hit the "off" button, the a/c will turn off, but then turn itself back on if i do any thing else.

Sonata NF (2006-10) :: 2007 - Ambient Temp Gauge Not Working

The ambient temp gauge on my '07 Santa Fe stopped working, all I was getting was flashing bars across thee bottom. Someone in a thread said there was a TBS about that. I went to my Hyundai dlr and got a copy of the TSB. It was actually pretty easy to take everything apart. The problem was that there were no wires the color I was looking for, also, there were no wires connected to the terminal as shown in the TSB. I went back to my dealer, and after a little research, found that the TSB did not pertain to my car because it was a late model year production. I was told that to fix the problem on my car, all for the fuse blocks would have to be replaced. Shortly after that, I started getting erroneous readings, eg:126 degrees. Now it is reading correctly, but who knows for how long.

Sonata I45 (LF 2015+) :: Vent Blowing Warm Air Always When AC And Heater Is Off

I bought a white 2015 Sonata GLS with 55000 kms on it. Car works fine but really great on gas in city with AC ( 11-12 liters/100 kms ).

And my main problem is my AC/heater vents. Its nice cool day out and I wanna roll my windows up and use outdoor air (with AC off and heating knob on cool - Blue side) but still blow warmer air (the more I turn the temp knob to less cool side more warm air comes out). I went to dealership and complaint about it but they said can't duplicate problem. And I replaced cabin air filter too, but still same problem.

I don't have automatic temperature climate control option, so its all manual, red and blue setting for heat and cold. I complaint them may be my heater stuck on heating but no action taken from them..
