Gen 3 Prius (Audio/Electronics) :: Rear Speakers Volume Adjustment
Just purchased a Prius III a week ago, like it so far. But one thing I have not figured out is how to adjust the rear speakers volume. My Prius has a JBL system, the two front speaks are quite strong, but the rear ones are not. On my other car, Camry, the volume can be easily adjusted to make either the front or rear speakers loud / light / balanced. How to do this in Prius? I believe it must be capable of doing such a basic thing, right?

my 2005 Camry XLE has the JBL speakers and the Toyota navigation system. The speakers sound fine when I first start up the car and play music but the sound becomes distorted and crackly over time (it begins in about 10-20 minutes of driving and gradually gets worse from there). The audio quality degrades much faster at higher volumes and is very pronounced in the front speakers. I initially thought only audio from the front speakers degraded, but after disabling them I found the rear speakers suffer from the same degradation issue. It happens regardless whether I play music off of a CD, radio or my iPhone hooked up with an FM transmitter. What could possibly cause this problem?

Wife said she heard a 'pop' on the way home from work last night and thought she blew a tire or ran over something. Nothing in the road and tires fine so she continues home. Temperatures were near zero last night.
Upon start up today, the speakers were at full volume roar with the audio off.
Turning the audio on, only changed the pitch, not the level.
I tried cycle the audio on / off but no change. Restarted car, same thing.
Let the car sit a while and restarted it to check the system codes. Same noise for a few seconds, then a sort of 'pop' and the noise stops. Radio/ CD work fine now.
I checked the system and all shows OK. It is not drivable with the roar (if it comes back).
Prius (2010-12) :: No Sound Emanating From The Speakers
I own a 2010 prius, have enjoyed the car. However, set out on a 6 hour trip this morning only to find I have no sound emanating from the speakers. FM, AM, CD or satellite all show on the screen that I am listening to something. But, the volume knob doesn't turn the sound up. Neither will the steering wheel buttons. The display used to show a numerical value for the volume. But nothing.

on my sub amp the wire out got hooked up my wires to my car speakers while replacing the battery and it went boom and there was a smell of burnt electrical. Now I don't have any sound coming out all in my car. I'm trying to figure out if it is a fuse problem or if I blew out all of my speakers, but before this happened I disconnected the center speaker by the screen because I wanted a more stereo sound in my car. I reattached the center speaker recently and still no sound. I looked at the fuses underneath the steering wheel and I couldn't find any blown fuses.

So I have noticed that i get a lot of rattle in the back when the volume is cranked up, i never had this issue before when the car was new, now all of a sudden it sounds like a cracking, or somethings loose in the back and if I blast music all I hear in the back is the rattle/loose/metal on metal contact noise.

My wife's 04 AWD 2.7 Santa Fe has developed a severe vibration. I have rotated tires, checked ball joints and tie rod ends, and had it aligned. The tires show very even wear and don't appear to have any bulges or broken belts. The vibration is so severe that the vents rattle louder than max radio volume, but it completely disappears in even the gentlest right turn.

I have a 2006 with the DVD Nav radio. Sometimes when I am turning and going over a bump (curb, speed bump), the volume jumps up dramatically. Even when the radio is on mute, it will come out of mute and start playing substantially louder than the volume was set prior to mute. At first, I assumed I must be hitting the VOL+ button on the steering wheel but then I realized that it often happened when my hand was on the completely another side of the wheel (with the 2006 power steering change, it's pretty easy to turn one-handed). I am downright positive this isn't user-error.

I am hearing a water flow sound under the right side of the dash when I turn corners or stop. It started when the radiator cracked. I have replaced the radiator and water pump. I have filled the radiator with the front of the SUV up and the engine running. Also tried jacking the rear of the SUV up. I have flushed the heater core. And re connected the hoses bleed air at the top of the hoses from the heater core, the return from the water pump to the radiator, and at the radiator to the water pump. Yesterday I pulled the dash out and found the heater core to be more center of the dash behind the climate control. The sound seems to be coming from more right behind the glove box. Any suggestions before I reassemble the dash. I have removed and cleaned the lower half of the ac coil/condenser box. There was no fluid in it and the drain line was not plugged.

I have the stock radio in my sonata and the radio volume will randomly decrease until its at zero. When I attempt to turn the volume back up it will continue to go back down. It does this regardless of weather the automatic volume control is on or off. From time to time none of the buttons on the dash for the radio will work either. The volume controls on the steering wheel are also messed up. The volume up button mutes the radio, the volume down increases the volume and the mute button changes the mode. I tried pulling the fuse to reset everything and that didn't fix it.

Making a grinding sound when traveling straight or turning left. Any turn to the right (even the camber of the passing lane) and there is no grinding sound so I figured it was the drivers side wheel bearing. Replaced it yesterday.... symptoms are still there.
Tight left/right turns don't result in the popping/snapping of a bad CV joint so I don't think that's it.
I don't think it's transmission related since shifting is good and the grinding is not throttle related. Besides, turning shouldn't have an effect on the sound if it was something in the transmission, right?
Ford Super Duty (1999-2016) :: 2002 Excursion - Knocking Sound When Turning
2002 Excursion 4x4 7.3. I've read about this on here before but I've forgotten what the problem is. When the wheels are turned and the vehicle is going forward at some speed, there is a knocking sound, like a ba-doomp ba-doomp ba-doomp. Does it in both directions, sounds like its in the front hub area. I don't have the time to fix it myself, how much should I expect to pay a dealer and/or independent shop to do it?

I have a 2005 and a 2007 Prius. I just bought the 2007 used with ~140k, and I have only owned the 2005 for about 10 months, so I am a relatively new Prius owner. I have noticed that the 2007 makes the buzz/rattle sound that is the coolant being pumped to the ICE (I believe) far more often than the 2005. The 2005 does it once every 10 minutes maybe.
