Camry 2012+ :: Icon Or Symbol On Left Side / Temperature On Multi Information Display
what does that icon or symbol on the left side the temperature on the the multi information display? I only noticed it yesterday when the temperature was around 2'C.I'm not sure if it is a malfunction since I can not see it on the manual.

I have a 2009 Prius Touring with about 55,000 miles on it. Had it regularly serviced last Thursday at the Toyota dealer/service center, and they said it needed to have the coolant flow control valve replaced due to sticking - so I agreed and they did it under warranty.
On Friday afternoon, I was driving out to the desert and about 50 miles into my trip, the red triangle with exclamation point symbol appeared on my dash, and the word "Problem" beeped on my screen. Then it went off, and then back on a few minutes later. Then it happened again and the high coolant temperature warning light came on the screen...and then went away. I turned off the A/C and opened the hood to check for steam or heat, but there was nothing. Since I was far from my destination, I called the closest Toyota service center and promptly drove there, but the light was off when I arrived. They said they checked everything out and ran the codes, but nothing came up.
When driving home on Sunday, the car did the same thing - Problem Triangle and High Coolant Temperature warning light on and off for varying amounts of time and with no correlation to how fast I was driving or how hard the engine was working. I left the A/C off the entire time.
Today, the car did the same thing after driving for about 10 miles. I brought it back to my regular service center, they ran codes and checked everything out...but they cannot find anything. They said they can't determine anything with the light off, but it doesn't stay on consistently so it's nearly impossible to bring it in with the light on.
Lexus RX 2004-09 :: Non Multi-information Display Panel To Touch Screen Display?
Recently, i just bought an multi-information display panel (with touch screen support) to integrate into my RX330 which is a non touch screen NAV display panel.
The 2nd hand multi-information display panel is from a 2004 RX330 and what are the socket behind the display panel meant for.
what is the 4 socket connectors as indicated in the red circle in the image should be connected to?
Prius (2004-09) :: 2002 - Red Flashing Sign Of A Car With Exclamation Mark On Display Screen
After coming back from a two week vacation, I tried to start my 2002 sedan toyota prius; and it would not start. The master warning light came on, and then on the screen, the third icon (the farthest right) was blinking in red, it was an outline of a car with an exclamation mark in the middle of it. It does the same thing each time I try to jump it. However, at the same time, after jumping it, the battery seems to be fine, meaning that the display and radio start up fine, but soon after cranking the key, the engine seems to shut off. I bought the car used, so I don't have an owners manual or anything of that sort.

My wife on her way home from work called me to say that the MID screen was blank - not working. I asked if she could drive the car, she could, but the energy monitor screen that she has on usually was not coming on. Her concern while driving was that she could not tell how fast she was going.
Fortunately, just a week ago I had installed Scangauge II in her car and had her convert one of existing gauge to MPH. This is a new 2012 Prius IV that is about 2 months old. I'm pretty sure that MID can't be turned off.
Prius Plug-in 2012-15 :: Multi-information Display Changes On Its Own?
Every day I stop at my mailbox to get the mail. I get out of the car with the FOB in my pocket and leave the car running. When I close the door the car beeps three times to let me know it's still on. This is exactly how my 2010 Prius operated. However, when I get back in the car the multi-information display always changes from the hybrid system indicator screen to the energy monitor screen. I always have the HSI on as default. This isn't a huge deal but it's kind of annoying. Is there a setting somewhere that I can change that I've missed?

I have a 2005 Prius with 135k miles. Yesterday the red exclamation light came on and also the hybrid system warning light. I shut the car off and it came on again. The third time the car started normally and it is driving normally today with no warnings. Does this sound like the 12 volt battery? It is original.

My wife was driving our 2009 prius this morning. she said the red triangle, this other yellow circled, light with an ! came on plus in the display window the car icon with the ! came on. Manual states that this is a hybrid system failure.
On very cold mornings the car smells very hot for a period of time. She said this happened again.
I tried to do a reset (turning it off and on atleast 4 times) did not work. So I had it towed to a dealer tonight and I started it again and this time very hot smelling and a whole lot more lights were on, ( brakes lights, almost all of the lights I would say.)

I unfortunately don't have the audio tab at all, how to add it to my display. No one at the dealership knows how and they referred me to Toyota Corporate about my situation. I have very recently purchased a 2011 GX. Everything seems to be in working order, aside from the "multi-information display" in the gauge cluster. While the electronics options screen functions as described in the manual, pressing the menu button results in a blank screen instead of switching to the customization and/or driver information screens.

Yesterday, started it up, began backing down the driveway, controlling speed with a little pressure on the brake. There was momentary weirdness, like the brakes had sort-of let go, then gripped again. And then got the warning "CHECK HYBRID SYSTEM" and a yellow triangle (inverted?) with exclamation mark.
I tried maybe 3 restarts, but the warning persisted. Phoned the dealership, booked-up Saturday, but they said they'd (commendably) squeeze it in. So we brought it in, when they eventually got to it they read the codes, cleared them, test drive, said it appeared the computer(s) "lost contact" momentarily, and it seemed ok.
I got in and started driving home, down the back lane first. Car started making a VERY strange buzzing sound, coming from under the hood. By the end of the lane I decided I better circle back to the dealership, pulled in at the curb in front, left it running and raised the hood, the hood support rod was loose, laying over the engine, doing a dance.
Prius (2010-12) :: Yellow / Orange Triangles With Exclamation Points And Hybrid System Down
I had a triangle with an exclamation point (not red), a check hybrid system message, and an airbag indicator come on in my car in February. I thought the triangle with the exclamation point was originally yellow but my eyes could be playing tricks on me. It now appears orange.
In February, the dealership told me that some kind of rodent apparently chewed through wiring containing the airbag tether and hybrid system wires. I was told this is a 3K+ repair and was advised to make a claim against my insurance. I am working away from home until June, so I was going to wait until I go home to have my preferred dealership handle the repairs.
Does driving solely on the gas system harm the Prius? Does the car have both yellow and orange triangles with exclamation point warning indicators? By driving the car in the condition it is in, am I harming it and is the possible change in color of the indicator a sign of a worsening problem?
Lexus IS 2014+ :: 15 IS350 F- Sport Don't Have Elapsed Time In Multi Information Display
I noticed just recently my 15 IS350 F- Sport doesn't have elapsed time in the multi information display. Instead it has 2 different average fuel economy spots under Driver info 1.
I remember seeing it on a 14 IS base, is this something different 15 or F-sport? Is there a setting to get it back?

I have 2011 prius 1800cc.
My car dashboard display come ORANGE TRIANGLE WITH EXCLAMATION MARK light and message "HYBRID SYSTEM CHECK". Car has no problem in drive, every thing works but display computer (check consumption graph Charging wheel etc.) does not show.
When I press start, display button shows charging graph consumption etc, only for few seconds and go to msg check hybrid system.

I have entered too many symbol on my sat nav map display, e.g., petrol station, car park, train station, etc. The map display looked very congested and would like to delete some of the symbol. There is no instruction in the handbook for removing the symbol.

The info screen on my 2005 Prius shows up black. When I push one of the buttons, it gradually goes to its normal brightness, stays that way for about 10 seconds, then goes black again. The buttons all work while its lighted.
