I am installing the wiring for trailer lights in my 2007 B6 wagon. I need to remove the interior trim panels for this, but I can't find any diagrams or DIYs on where the screws or clips are. I don't want to just go at it and end up putting pressure in the wrong places and breaking clips.

Knock on wood 38,000 km and only now had my first set of real problems.
1. Seat heater on front passenger doesn't turn off
2. Brakes squealing
3. Keyless Fob really doesn't work well
I must say after my 05, this 06 is truly a blessing. I can't begin to tell you how utterly amazed I am with this vehicle on a daily basis. Why doesn't the car have any speakers in the rear window deck? Was sitting in the back seat on Valentines Day and was amazed at how weird the car sounds without speakers in the rear? Was truly amazed that my rear passengers couldn't hear how great it sounds in the front.
Prius (2010-12) :: Seat Side Trim Panel Installation
The side trim panel on the passenger side seat was accidentally pulled away in the front. Checked the tabs and clip are intact, is there any special way to push that in? Or just by brute force?

I thought i would waste my weekend trying to put my katzkin interior in, its proving to be a lot harder than i thought. I've been searching this but haven't been able to find the details on how to take the bottom of the backseat out. its hinged and folds forward, but i don't see any screws to take it out. this is obviously different from a sedan. there is a plaistic cover over the hinge and there are no screws under there either. this is a 1999 wagon. also where do I get this 12 point torx to dismantle the front seats? i just took the front seat out and took it half apart only to put it all back together again.....

I checked my driver side leather seat (V8) and found that the trim was cracked.
When I slow down my car smoothly when driving, the transmission was not downshifted smoothly after 20K service.

The car is 3 months old, and I looked over the other day to see a bluish tint on the edge closest to the door of the front passenger seat. When I bought the car the finance lady warned me that blue jeans could leach into the seats but I thought she was just trying to scare me into buying a coating for the seats, which I didn't buy. I was away from the Phaeton for 2 weeks and managed to let the battery run down to totally dead (left Radar detector on). Started her up on the secondary battery and everything seemed fine, but, a few days later, I had occasion to put down the drivers window - no joy. Tried the passengers window - again no joy. The rear windows were fine. When I try to operate the window I hear a short sound like the window is starting to open, but nothing happens and the glass does not move. Because it is so unlikely that both front windows would fail simultaneously, I suspect a controller may need to be reset. Is there any way to trouble shoot this without a VAG COM?
