Is it necessary to get new shocks/coilovers when installing lowering springs? (and other concerns)

So let me start off with telling you I only ha email 6500 miles on my car now. At 800 miles I installed h&r sports springs on the stock shocks and struts. No noises what so ever. Now I've had PLENTY of time on the drive on them and just not happy with how low I am. I ordered a set of solo werks coil overs, to put on until I can afford a bag setup. My question is, should the bearings be changed now, or am I still good with them being low miles? What's the mileage, that most people are installing and getting this sound?

How do you adjust the rear height on coilovers? I have the ST coilovers which are comparable to the KW. Do I have to compress the spring and then adjust? I tried to do it with the wrenches given but the whole thing just turns with it. I'm going to lower the front some more and I want to do the rear as well. It is my first set of coilovers on a car and I had someone else do the install.

I just installed coilovers on my b6 passat(I will post pics when the problem is fixed)but back to where i started the ride is a big improvement then I thought. I was driving the other day and no problems until i hit a bump in the street/ not pothole. all the coilovers held up except the passenger side the bump dropped my suspension on the passenger side to where it now hits the inner linen in the wheel well it that low that I smell a burning smell when I drive.

I recently leased a 2013 Passat SE and I desperately need to eliminate the wheel gap. I know that SoloWerks has some coilovers available or our car, but I have a friend that has a CC on KSports and I absolutely love the way they ride. Ksport does not make a coilover for our cars, but I have heard that the CC suspension is the same. Looking for CC coilover setup on these cars yet? I'll be sure to post pictures once I get my wheels and eliminate the wheel gap!

i got my coilovers on and both the front and back are all the way down as far as they can go but they fronts are still about 1/4" higher. will the fronts take longer to settle in? ins been a few days.

I was driving down the road and an m3 came up next to me. I was chewing on my fingernail and my girl says o this guy wants to race "heard him down shift". I drive in sports mode a lot and was in it at this time. cause I was chewing on my finger nail I didn't downshift via paddle, when I heard him hit it I hit it as well he took off a car and a half while I was waiting for my tranny to drop into the right gear when it did we were at a stand still he wasn't gaining and neither was I then my girl yield cop so I let off lol he was sitting in a field off to the side.
is there anything I can do to get the tranny to act faster? or is it a case of down shifting first is a must before racing from a roll?
but then you have to keep the bottle temp/pressure up and full and on all the time. why o why cant they hack this ECU so I can turbo this thing

My '91 240 races when turned on when motor cold, colder it is the moreso, especially in Park and Neutral till it calms down It's happening under 60 degrees Fahrenheit and big time under 32. Sometimes turning steering wheel sharply will stop this. Is this ECU? Transmission? Belts? There seems too show excess transmission fluid on the dipstick, by the way lately, which may have been that way from accidental overfill and may not be related t this insane racing issue.)

I drive a 2009 Kia Spectra. Mileage - 89,000. About a year ago, very infrequently, I started noticing that the engine would start racing when I would try to come to a stop. Now, almost every time I start the car, the engine is racing while it is still in park. And when I come to a stop sign or stoplight, the engine races when I put on the brakes. This is NOT an issue with the mat hitting the accelerator. Lately, also, the car is starting to die for no reason when I bring it to a stop. I took this in to a mechanic, they could not find a problem--they cleaned off some cables but the engine was racing when I turned it on to drive home.

Our 2010 Prius with 33000 miles has developed strange 'engine racing'. At low speeds around 20-30mph, (warm) engine will rev up for 10+ sec with no foot on brake or accelerator. Then engine warning light comes on. Toyota dealer says "lean code", cleaned MAF sensor, checked AF and O2 sensors - OK. But same behavior continues- engine warning light back on. Otherwise runs normal.

Bought a 2001 from a used car dealership about 2 months ago. A week later it started acting funny. It would often race the rpm's about 2000 when at at stop light and then others times would act like I was out of gas when I would take off. Sputtered and then finally run normally. Then other times it wouldn't start and just crank over and over. After 10-15 times it would fire up and then act like nothing was wrong. It was a total crap shoot whether it would start or not each time.
Took it back to dealership and supposedly their mechanic installed a new fuel pump. Ran like a champ for about another two weeks and then exact same symptoms started showing up.
Passat (B6) :: 2008 - Installing HID Kit
Okay, this is my problem. I bought a HID kit for my 08 Passat and did a little searching and found that I need to get into the computer and change the settings to where it thinks I have the Xenon lights already. If I didn't do it, that it would burn my ballast So I spoke to someone who knows about Vw's. Was told to download the software from Ross-tech and instead of paying the $300 for the VAG-COM, that I could get one off Ebay and I would be good to go. But to my surprise, I downloaded everything, got my OBD-II wire but I keep on getting error codes and cant get into the computer to change anything. I have installed and deleted the program, spent hours trying to fix.

I just bought this grill [URL].... and it fits great. However, the grill does not come with a emblem so I was just going to put mine from my 06 Passat on but it is a lot smaller than the opening on the new one. Am I just missing something here, or are there different size grill emblems on some cars? Or is my new grill just messed up?

Seems too coincidental to be unrelated. I installed a new K&N filter into my '04 GLX Wagon and 2 days later my MIL light came on. No blinking just always on. Is there a connection between the two? If I swap out the filters will the light go out on it's own or does it need to be reset? If it's not the filter what's the most common cause of the light coming on? Assuming is doesn't start blinking I have read it's OK to drive until fixed.
