Passat (B5) :: Windows Do Not Roll Up With One Click / Only Driver Door Locks
So today I went to work forgot my lights on and when i got done working my car battery was dead. I jump started the car and now the windows dont roll up with one click and when I lock car doors only driver door locks how could i fix this problem do I need to reprogram ?

So i was installing a led light in the trunk of my car to replace the old halogens an when it came out a spark happened and now i am unable to use my key fob or roll up the windows, lock the car, or get in the trunk. Also already tried to reset both FOBs but they are not working.

When I first got my 2006 Lexus RX400h (LOVE the car, btw), I would unlock all the doors by clicking twice on the unlock button on the key fob, then hold it down to open the trunk.
My dad went to get something from the trunk and I gave him the same instructions. Well when he did it (we were in the middle of a rain storm) all of the windows opened and not the trunk. Now this is what happens every time.
I'm not sure what happened, but I'm really missing opening my trunk through my key fob especially when my hands are full. Why this is happening and how I can open my trunk using the key fob again?

My car got broken into 2002 VR6 4 motion.
Windows no longer roll down.
Trunk doesn't open.
Interior lights don't turn on.
Passat (B5) :: Power Locks / Windows Feature Malfunctioning
There is a feature of the lock mechanism whose name I do not know - When the key is inserted and turned it unlocks the driver's door, turned a second time it unlocks all doors, turn and hold and it lowers all the windows.
This is working intermittently. That is, the second turn does not unlock the other doors, nor does the turn-and-hold lower the windows. As a side bar, when it does not function, using the key to unlock the car it does not turn off the alarm.
I'd like to understand more thoroughly how this system operates so that I can more fully research and diagnose.
Passat (B5) :: Key Fob Not Opening All The Door Locks
I put my car in reverse and my door locks has some sort of spasm. The rear locks started twitching for several seconds then stopped.
Now both key fobs will only unlock the drive's side door. All locks work fine with the key.
Untimely demise on my remote unlock feature? Other threads have dealt with single door issues. We had that problem with the rear door on our 99 but this not the same issue since only one door will unlock remotely.
I know that my car battery needs to be replaced but it should not cause a problem. Also all fuses were checked and are ok. What to check.

I just bought a 2008 Passat last week, and am still learning all the features in the car. I previously had an '05 Jetta, and I was able to remotely open all of the windows by holding the key in the unlock position.
My manual says that I can roll down all of the windows from the remote by holding the unlock key on the remote, but it doesn't work. I have even checked the settings to make sure that the "Convenience" option is set to "All" windows. Am I missing something? What do I have to do to get the windows opened / closed remotely?

SE with Nav & Sunroof, when opening & closing Tilt the motor vibrates and the hinges squeak, after the dealer apparently lubricated the s/roof the squeaking etc is still happening..
The service manager says it's the rubber water seals closing or pulling apart! he says that after lubrication just 1car wash will enable the squeaking to return!!!!!
He also says that the trunk on my wife's 2012 Jetta should not fully pop open when using the keyfob, buy it popped fully open for 2 months - now it's just lifts a little..did VW reprogram via the internet? or whats the story...........

Having issues with the power windows making a funny noise when you roll it down and up? It is happening to the right front and right rear windows. Sounds like something is broken inside. Both windows do go up and down perfect , just thinking its on its last legs and worried one day it wont go back up. The problem is not like a motor burning out, more like something is crackling inside. What is weird both windows have the same noise.

Do the 2014-15 Avalons have a power opening trunk lid? My wife and I both have back and neck pain. Neither one of us can lift very much weight without causing pain flare up.In a youtube video of a 2014 Avalon, it looks like the trunk lid opens about 3 quarters of the way when the man showing the Avalon features pressed the key fob.
