Passat (B5) :: Switch From Kilometers To Miles On Speedometer?
How do i switch the speedometer to miles from kilometers. I need to travel to USA by road from Canada.. I have a Passat 1999 GLS.. The speedometer is set to kilometers.

I can't find any way to switch my Prius 3 Touring from miles to kilometers. Since I live close to Canada, and expect to drive there, not being able to switch would be an issue, as there are no corresponding markings on the totally absent dial. Or does the Prius just know when it should switch?

I accidentally switched my C from miles to kilometers and for the life of couldn't figure out how to switch it back. Since I was resetting the trip odometer when this happened I thought it might have something to do with the trip odometer settings. I was correct. If you hold the trip odometer button down it will switch. Fortunately it switches back the same way.

It seems my head gasket is blown. I've got tonnes of foam and froth in my coolant reservoir and my conclusion is that it is likely the head gasket. I cleaned it out once and after about 1/2 hour of driving its full of foam again.
I can't believe it. I checked with an Indi mechanic and he was surprized too. I'm checking at the dealer tomorrow but I'm outside of the warranty so I'm not holding out any hope.
Camry :: 2011 LE Odometer Lost Miles
I have a 2011 Camry LE. I took it to have the oil changed today. The odometer was around 46,000 miles and that's what the service guy put in the computer. After the service was completed, the guy leaned in the car and had me turn the keys 2 clicks while he pressed the odometer button to reset the oil change light. It took him a few tries before he said "ok, got it." Afterwards, I noticed the odometer was reading 40,000. I showed it to him, and he had no explanation for what happened. Neither did anyone else that worked there. I called my local Toyota and they had never heard of that happening.

Outside gauges says 2C inside temp set at 71f.....

Nissan - Quest :: 2004 - Odometer Jumped 10k Miles
I have a 2004 Nissan Quest SE. We were on a trip and drove 15 hours to Florida which was a 870 mile trip. We had 104,440 miles on the van when we left, validated by the dealer service records and our own notes to track MPG. We arrived in FL and didn't notice the odometer. The van remained parked for 4 days. Upon leaving, we noticed it had 115,310 miles on the odometer. Upon checking the trip computer (setting 1), it did not reflect this 10k mile gain. The trip computer also didn't reflect a change in MPG with the additional 10k miles. The trip computer (setting 2) hasn't been reset in a very long time as we don't use it. and continued to show a total mileage just over 4k miles, therefore, also not reflecting this 10k mile gain in the odometer.What would cause this jump of 10k miles on the odometer?

Passat (B6) :: Way To Adjust The Hood?
Today I received my passat from the dealer's body shop after a rear end accident. Rear lid, bumper, reinforcement, lights, parking sensors, fuse and front seat belts replaced. So I suppose that no one touched the front end except for the towing bar cover. But I drove the car and found that the hood is shaking at high speed (200+ kmph) which is odd to me since the car was rock solid.
I opened the hood and felt that the release handle was loose ( can't feel the mechanism any more). Visually the right side of the hood is higher than the fender. Also pushing on the hood seems that it doesn't set on the rubber adjusters (there are 4 adjusters)
After making few adjustments (only the outer adjusters ) the hood is even higher than before although it is tight and the release handle felt good.
How can I lower the hood while keeping it tight?
