Ford F-150 (2004-2008) :: 2007 - No Heat After Idling For 3 To 5 Minutes
2007 f150 5.4 supercrew, average temp for the last 2 weeks was -27. I plug the truck in all night it starts good and idles down fast engine is warm. no heat after idling for 3-5 min and then try to drive it takes another 5 min for the temp gauge to hit full temp 192. then my windows fog over even the dash and there is minimal heat coming out takes another 10-15 min to clear the windows. what the "F". fulid levels up, winter front on, block heater works, not using or smelling antifreeze, brush off every last speck of snow and I still have to pull over on the highway and wait......should have kept my 95 5.8l.

I have a 2001 Montana. Recently I have no heat/air movement via the defrost vent. All other setting work along with fan. Plenty of heat when set on floor or dash vent. Just doesn't work with the defrost setting in either alone or with the floor.

I have a 2000 chevy venture with 100,000 miles on it and I just had the thermostat replaced a month ago. Now that the weather is getting warmer I have noticed the gauge going up when idling for a few minutes, drive through, etc. Is there a sensor that could have went bad when the thermostat went out that should be replaced? When I start driving again the gauge comes back down. I have noticed that the fans arent kicking on, but when I turn the a/c or heat on then they do.

I have an F-250 Ford, 2006, 6.0 turbo-diesel. Started noticing that my heat only works while running at 70 mph or more and the turbo is at around 15-20 psi. Now that it has gotten cold it is definitely an issue. Truck does not overheat, I am not able to feel heat on the hose after control vlave and I do not feel any vacuum on the line (grey) to the control valve. I have checked for leaks, changed out the fill cap, checked anti-freeze level, pulled control valve just to verify its position when opened (which it seems to stay open). It's getting really cold in the cab of that truck now.

I have an 07 prius with 105k miles. It had no warning lights on and drives great with 1 exception. The heat gets cold at idle, it works great as soon as i drive or if the ICE starts to charge the battery. I believe the problem was the ICE not coming on to heat it back up, it would only come on if the battery drops not if the air temp drops.
Then my mechanic replaced the pump on the coolant heat storage tank and it made no difference so he put the old one back on. However since then the ICE will occasionally kick on for heat even if the battery is charged (like it should be) but not frequently enough and sometimes not at all.
Ford A/C :: 2007 - No Floor Heat?
07 Expedition, front and defrost vents work for heat and AC but not the floor. There is a tiny bit of air flowing on the floor vents when I switch to them, but not enough to keep my feet warm in the winter. Vacuum? Where would I look for the floor vent vacuum lines?

Well of course with the coldest weekend of the year coming up my heat stops working.
When I'm driving it pulls heat off the engine just fine but stopped it just blows cold air.
Santa Fe (CM - 2007-12) :: No Heat Control In Cabin
I took the 2008 Santa Fe Limited into the dealer for no control over heat in cabin. It turned out to be a air mixing valve actuator failure. Since the car had 60714 miles on it I needed to convince the dealer, since this is a common failure, that Hyundai should stand behind it. Since it failed before I brought it in, it failed before the 60k mark. The dealer supplied the part and I the labor.
Before I brought it in I replaced the thermostat. An old school problem fix for insufficient heat. That did nothing. Upon disassembly i found it very difficult to get at. You need a lot of patients to do this task and reversible wrists and elbows due to its location.
Also, in looking up the control system in the Factory Repair Manual I discovered this Limited heat/AC panel has an internal self-diagnosis that you can trigger. It did indeed indicate a faulty actuator. The dealer was not aware of the self-diagnosis facility having not been taught it by Hyundai during training.
Santa Fe (CM - 2007-12) :: Heat Only On Driver Side
I have a 2007 Santa Fe that will only produce heat on the driver side of the vehicle. It does not have dual climate control. So I changed out the heat control actuator and it did not work. I manually moved the lever and still nothing. The air will go from all sections perfectly.

I have a 2007 Ford Ranger Sport with 85000 miles. Just yesterday, it started sputtering while idling, as if I was out of gas, but I'm not. The cabin shakes a bit sporadically with the sputtering sounds. It seemed to go away somewhat when I'm driving, but I could just be confusing it with the bumps in the road. Then, when I'm accelerating, there are occasional pulses in the acceleration. Today, the blinking engine light came on briefly just before I got back home.

i have a 2.2 crdi 2009 santa fe and when my foots off the gas pedal it has this strange vibrating hum noise that comes and goes - it doesn't matter if its in Park or Neutral.
You can only hear it inside the cab so im thinking maybe its something up against the firewall but i can't see what?
Santa Fe (CM - 2007-12) :: Engine Would Jump Around Between 200 - 800 Rpm When Idling
I have a 2009 with 45,000 miles. It has been idling goofy for a while. Last winter when it was cold it the engine when first started would jump around between 200 - 800rpm when idling. I went and had the fuel system cleaned. It wasn't noticeable when it was warm out and it did not jump around as dramatically on cold starts. Lately it started bouncing on every start from 400rpm-800rpm. It drives fine, just idles bouncy. The other night it lost power while driving. The engine was running but when the accelerator was pushed it would not speed up. It was limping along at 20mph and the engine light on the dash turned on. After sitting for little bit, the engine light was off and drove normally again. I have an apt. for the dealer to look at it next week, but of course I will not be able to recreate the event and there are no error codes.

I have a 2010 Santa Fe 2.2 crdi auto with 67k on the clock. It's hard to explain but recently the car is idling much deeper than usual, that typical diesel everything vibrating feel when sat at lights. Its fine when I'm on the move but once i drop below 1000rev and more so when in Drive, not as bad in Neutral. I went over a speed bump the other day and i can swear i felt something change when i went over the bump.
