Volvo :: Internal Ventilation - No Air Outlet

I have a problem with the internal ventilation: the fan works but no air exits through vents whatever the position of the control button. Where can I find a schematic of the ventilation system, I do not know how to disassemble it....

Lexus GX 2010+ :: 120 VAC Power Outlet By Rear Door Hinge

Our 2010 base model GX 460 was 'born' in November 2009 and purchased new in February 2010, but we never used the 120 VAC power outlet at the back of the cargo compartment by the rear door hinge. I was cleaning and swapping 'summer' floor mats for 'winter' mats and decided to see if the outlet works. The appended pictures prove it does produce 120 VAC .... actually, almost 124 VAC, but I have no way to test if it can supply 100 Watts, much less the waveform shape. Perhaps it could light a 100 Watt incandescent bulb, but nothing sensitive to supply line glitches!

Ford F-150 (2009-2014) :: 2011 - Cleaning Air Ventilation System?

I recently picked up a really clean 2011 F150. Once thing I notice is the brief smell of manure at startup. I bought a ventilation cleaning kit which has a hose to snake up the drain hose. Little did I know how much of a PITA this was going to be. Best I can see, the drain is behind the heat mat on the firewall and not easy to get to.

Questions - Is there another way into the system? Since there isn't a cabin filter (first odd discovery for a modern vehicle), can I get in through the intake side?

Lexus - Defrosters - Ventilation :: IS250 2007 - Front Windows And Windshield Fogging Up

I just had the 30,000 mile service at a dealership, replaced a leaking water pump, front and rear brakes. The car has just 30k miles on it so it hasn't needed anything major despite being 10 years old. Once I got it back the front windows and windshield are fogging up. It doesn't seem to matter if the car just started or has been going for a while. We have had temperature changes and humidity changes in the weather, neither makes a difference. I have to drive with the windshield defrost on all the time. The dealer said it isn't anything they did, but it started immediately after I got it back. Is it possible that they knocked something and broke it?

Prius (2010-12) :: 2014 - Power Outlet Fuse Keeps Blowing

I have owned my Prius three, not III, for just over 2 years now. The first year I had no issue but now, when charging my iPhone 6, the fuse blows every 2-4 weeks. (My phone is the ONLY thing I ever plug in there). I finally tried replacing the 15amp fuse with a 20amp (I know, that's a no no). But I still blew the 20amp fuse now.

Camry :: AC System - Rear Outlet Blows Really Hot Air

If I've been traveling on a hot day with A/C on, at some point after 3-4 hours, the air coming out of the REAR outlet starts to blow HOT.

Again, front A/C outlets still blowing nice cold air, but rear outlet blows really hot air. If you shut the A/C off for 1/2 hour, (or shut the car down for 20-30 minutes), when the A/C runs again, everything is fine again.

I think it must have something to do with icing (?) and the flaps on the ventilation system. Any diagram of the system?

Avalon 2005-12 :: AC System - Rear Outlet Blows Really Hot Air?

I'My car is a Gen 3 Avalon (2005 Touring), but, I figure the 2nd Generation Avalon & recent Camry XLS have similar interior A/C layouts in the interior.

PROBLEM: If I've been traveling on a hot day with A/C on, at some point after 3-4 hours, the air coming out of the REAR outlet starts to blow HOT.

Lexus GX 2004-09 :: 12V Power Outlet Failure On 1st Gen GX470

I was using the12V power outlet to power a small air compressor to a small air tank. Had to answer a phone and forgot about it for a while. When I returned, the air compressor was not working. I figured I either blew a fuse or fried the compressor. I pulled the 12v plug from the power outlet and inserted it in the cigarette liter outlet and the compressor still worked.

I then plugged my radar detector into the 12V outlet and it did not work.So I figureed I blew a fuse. I pulled the 15 amp fuse from #54 but it looked good. To double check I swapped this fuse with the 15 amp fuse for the rear wiper and the fuse was fine.

So I am thinking the 12V power outlet socket must be bad. Isn't that why we have fuses -to protect an expensive part with a cheap one? Is this an easy DIY job?

I checked all three power outlet fuses indicated in the owner's manual and all are good (75 and 76 in the driver's side instrument panel fuse box and number 21 in the engine compartment (type B) fuse panel). Do I need to start ripping out the tray under the front console to find the problem?

Lexus IS 2014+ :: Humming Noise From Right Rear While Turned Off

This is a first for me. Came in last night after my 140 mile commute and pulled into my garage and turned off my car ('16 IS350F). This morning(approx. 10 hrs.later) I went into the garage and heard a humming noise. I thought it was the refrigerator, but as I walked around the back of the car,it was obvious the noise was originating from the right rear. It sounded(to me) just like the fuel pump running,but that made no sense as it isn't on the "hot" battery bus...ie: it doesn't run until the accessory power is provided. I got in the car and cranked it....let it run for a couple of minutes and shut it down and the humming stopped.
