Lexus IS 2014+ :: Navigation Screen Never Goes To Home Screen Without Pressing Home Button
According to the navigation manual (attached), the navigation screen should go to the home screen within 5 seconds. But my IS never goes to the home screen without pressing the home button, but it always shows the full screen map. I tried many different things including "Auto Screen Change" setting but nothing seems to work.

2014 Avalon XLE - Driver Side Mirror Scratched?
I guess I put some scratches in the drivers (left) side door mirror. My micro fiber towel must have had some forein material in it. if I can order and just replace the mirror part? or do I have to order the complete assembly? It's a 2014 Avalon XLE with the heated mirror option. At certain agles I see swearl scratches right in the middle of the mirror.

Is there anyway to have the audio screen remain permanently on view? On my 2010 Prius, the screen view changes back to another screen after about 15 seconds. I would like the audio screen to remain on view so I can make changes between various presets. I know I can do this with the buttons on the steering wheel, but this may involve lots of button pushing. I also want to be able to flip between the presets and the text view (which shows me artist and song title.

Lexus IS 2014+ :: Radio Swap Due To Nav Screen Flashing
I had my radio swapped by the dealer last night due to an issue with the navigation screen restarting while driving an randomly blinking / flashing blue or white. However today the blinking / flashing came back just minutes after picking the car up from the dealer and again this morning while driving to work.
Just out of curiosity is the radio different in a Mark Levinson car or is it only the speakers, sub etc. that distinguishes the sound?

I'm considering ordering an IS350 F-Sport RWD in the next few months and I compare everything to my wife's 2013 BMW 335i Xdrive. I guess this is a legitimate comparison since both are in the same category. However whenever I look at the interior pictures one thing pops up : the size of the NAV screen. Why on earth did they leave around 1 inch of unused space to the left and right of the screen? It annoys me because everything in the interior looks more upscale than the 335, but this thing looks so cheap.

The car is about a week old. Today, the NAV system (ML version), re-started a few times and then shut completely off. Re-starting the car does not work. Got a totally "off" screen and no sound. 2014 350?

I ordered my IS 300h F-Sport (winter!). After five months of waiting, the car is now at the dealer. I went today to take a look and one thing is making me a little bit nervous...
The info screen said "Pop up hood error", I asked the salesman about it and said that the car needs preparation and be reset....
I want to believe it but my mind is taking my opinion that something triggered the pop up hood pedestrian protection... maybe a little hit? I don't know.... and maybe the salesman is being honest and it is normal.
The bumper is all ok, no signs of damage, (the car arrived yesterday and my girlfriend went to take a look).

I have my home screen set to show audio on the left side, weather upper right and climate lower right. Even though the audio section is the whole left side of the screen, it does not display the artist or song information for radio stations. If I click on audio, though, then in the full audio screen (with presets, etc.), it does show the artist and song information. How to get the info to display on the home screen?

I managed to scratch the air bag while making a turn somehow . Must be a curse of some sort as I was wearing a newly acquired Submariner that day, Father's Day I might add. The scratch is right on top of the air bag cover and is about an inch long.
Is it possible to change the cover alone? Or is it the whole air bag ? Anything I can do to smoothie the scratch out so it's less visible? I can try to forget it , but is hard when it's right there in front of you.
