Lexus GS 2013+ :: 2014 GS350 Acceleration Slower When Driving In Normal Mode
Two weeks ago, I purchased a pre owned/certified 2014 GS 350 F Sport and about a week later my parents purchased a pre owned/certified 2014 GS 350. When driving the GS 350 in normal mode, my parents, my son, and I find the acceleration to be slower than that of my F Sport (also driven in normal mode). When we asked the dealer about the different feel of acceleration, they insist that the acceleration should be the same as the engines are identical. The acceleration in the GS 350 in normal mode feels like acceleration in my F Sport in Eco mode.

I just purchased my brand new 2014 F150 4x4 STX 5.0L single cab short box about a month ago. I noticed when I drove it off the lot that it had a slight vibration at low RPMs. I boiled it down to brand new stuff working out all the kinks and running around for the first time, bought a brand new jeep in 2005 and it made interesting noises and had funny vibrations for a while, but this is starting to get annoying. I have a very noticeable vibration at low RPMs both in park and while driving, more noticeable at speeds between 35-45 with RPMs anywhere from idle to 1500 or so.
I have not had it at the dealer yet, I want to be armed with a little bit of knowledge when I go in an talk to them if possible. I know how stealerships work and since it seems similar problems are somewhat common in these newer F150s, I don't want to get the "oh it's common in these trucks and perfectly normal". In my opinion a brand new truck should run smoother than melted butter on hot flapjacks, especially one that only has 1400 miles on it.

2016 IS300.
I've had it for 4 days now, and I've never had a brand new car so maybe this is a moot point. But the car simply feels heavy and sluggish. I'm at a little over 300 miles and the car just doesn't have much zip compared to my 2010 IS. Also, when I had the clear bra done at Lexus they gave me an identical loaner (2016 IS300 AWD) with around 800 miles and it felt totally different.
I remember with my 2010 reading that the car has to "learn" how you drive, etc. With my 2016 it'll go from a dead stop, them a couple of shifts in it drops to a super low gear. Even in sport mode it feels sluggish. In ECO mode... Well, lets just say that feels laughable.
Why was my loaner (which was identical to my new car) much zippier in the normal mode? Is this something I should be concerned about? The car runs fine, just no zip (yet).
Lexus IS 2014+ :: Engine Generate Some Vibration In D Mode
Winter is coming. These two days are the first time my living area get below 5C (41F). The car start up fine as summer time. I let the car to warm up like 30 second as usual.
After I drove a short distance and the engine temperature indicator reach 1/3 of the level, I realize the engine would generate some vibration while I stop the car completely in D mode. You can actually hear the engine get louder and shake the car a little.
It happens whenever I brake the car to a complete stop.
However, it does not happen when I start my car or after the car is completely warm up (1/2 of the temperature bar). I am not sure if it is because of the cold weather or the engine hasn't warmed up enough. It has never happened before while the outside temperature is above 5C.. Yesterday, I thought it was someone beside me who turn their base speaker so loud beside my car. Today, it happened again. I am sure it is the engine. Our engine is always quiet. I am not sure what is happening.

So mine is a 2014 is250awd and I currently have 16,000 miles. Sometimes when I put my car into park the gear lever doesn't always go all the way into park. It kinda gets stuck, then the car under its own weight will pull the lever into park. I will see an obvious movement of the gear lever going even further into the park position.
Sometimes I try to be a little bit more forceful with it, to push the gear lever into park. So it doesn't get pulled or clicked into place by the weight of the car gently settling forward or backwards depending where I parked.
But The other day I pulled into and parked on a bit of an incline, put the car in park and got out. When I got back into the car from the store, when I sat in the car it rolled back what seemed like and inch and a loud click and I see the gear lever get forced into park as the car rolled back. So it seemed to me I left the car, and it wasn't quite in park or drive. Which seems a bit unsettling to me.
Lexus IS 2014+ :: Extremely Rough Ride In Normal Mode
The last few days I've noticed an extremely rough ride when in Normal Mode. In sport + mode I noticed a bit of a smoother ride where the bumps weren't as harsh. Which is the complete opposite of what's supposed to happen. My tire pressure is 36 and reaches 39-40 when hot. No clue why this is happening, should I be worried ? Should I lower the tire pressure a little maybe to much air is causing the harsh ride? Or should I reset the battery because my car is stuck in sport + mode when it should be normal.

Recently I started driving on eco mode to have the smoothest ride/acceleration. However, yesterday I wanted to get my dose of sport mode and WOT, so I switched to sport mode and stepped on the gas and during a small curve I felt the car steering is stiffer than usual, so I thought it could be due to speed. After that I reduced my speed and tried switching between sport and eco back to back and the sport mode steering actually is stiffer and more responsive! . I was surprised because my car is not the F sport, it is the normal is350 with tech package, and Lexus didn't mention this when describing the sport mode.

I am feeling disappointed just came out of a lemon law suit with a kia optima I bought two years ago. I figured we'll I should buy a better brand this time which my brother recommended cause I was going to buy another Infiniti I always had good things with those cars. But the last 2 nights I have been hearing a squeaking noise in my rear end of my brand new IS 350 F Sport. Only in sport plus mode. I was driving home from work at 2 am and driving through a canyon road cause I want to see how this car does as soon as the road got a little bumpy I was hearing a squeaking noise come out of the rear of the car. Then I get home and I hear it going over my speed bumps in my complex of my condos. So I think we'll that's odd. I take it out of sport plus mode and back to eco and drive around the complex again and it goes away. Remind you I have 484 miles on the car.

I've had my IS 250 F-Sport for exactly 6 months now, and over the last month I've noticed that when I'm pulling in to park or backing out (at a very low speed) with my steering wheel turned right or left from the center, I hear and feel some shaking/vibration from the car. I can't pinpoint if it only happens with the A/C on.
I live about 3 hrs away from my Lexus dealer now, and my first maintenance appointment is at the end of the month. I'm pretty disturbed. I have about 4500 miles on the car.

I just traded in my 14 IS 350 for 13 GS 350. In my IS, while i'm driving at any speed and change mode from Normal to Sport, i can see the RPM change higher instantaneously. But in 13 GS 350, nothing happens in RPM gauge. Is the 6 and 8 transmission different here ?

So i noticed, when in auto mode, whether sport mode is on or off, it does the same thing. If i floor it from a stand still, the transmission takes noticeably longer to go from 1st into 2nd then from 2nd to 3rd, 3rd to 4th, etc. 1st to 2nd takes like a good second, kinda like this:
1st VROOOOM.....................2nd VROOOM..3rd VROOOM..4th.....etc..
If I drive it in manual mode, then it shifts just as fast. So this only happens in auto.
Lexus RX 2004-09 :: Intermittent Rattle / Clatter Noise When In Park Or Driving Slowly
(2008 RX350)... Recently I've noticed that when I'm in park, or driving slowly next to other cars, I can hear an intermittent rattle/chatter, sort of sounds like leaves or crinkling plastic. Also sort of sounds like clutch chatter. The noise is coming from an area near the front-passenger wheel well, sort of near the alternator.
