Lexus LS 2007+ :: 2013 - Squeaking Driver Seat
My new-to-me 2013 LS has a squeaking driver's seat... it's especially evident if the car's been parked for a week.
When I purchased the car it had this problem, the dealership "took care of it", but it came back a month later... when I lean back in the seat it squeaks annoyingly...
Lexus GS 2013+ :: Funky Smell From Driver Seat
I purchased my car second hand. I don't know if the previous owner was a big, sweaty dude who didn't take showers but....after driving in my car for certain periods, I get a funky body odor from the seat.
I sprayed vinegar/water onto the seat, let it stay and wiped up. I wonder if there's bacteria forming on the seat heat/cooling source?
Lexus GS 2013+ :: Driver Memory Seat - Customize Settings In Nav Area
I can set my seat to recognize what key is unlocking the door to set the drivers seat to registered position (1, 2 or 3). Now when I customize settings in the Nav area so that the driver's seat slides back partially or fully when shutting down car, it no longer recognizes the keys. When I cancel the slide back option in the Nav, it quickly recognizes the keys again. I like both options and do wish that there is a way to remedy this. Is this normal?

My drivers seat feels like it moves slightly after applying the brakes and then back on the gas like when you almost come to a full stop. The car is CPO with 22k and new to me so I can't say how long it's been happening. I feel like I remember a similar problem and TSB with the 2 gen IS but I'm not sure. Having a fan like sound apparently coming from the gas tank, but different than what everybody is saying is the fuel pump- its not a whirring sound under the drivers seat and not while the engine is running. I have heard this a couple of times after the engine has been off a few hours of sitting in my garage, and then after a few minutes it goes away. The last time, I opened the fuel filler cap and the fan sound stopped immediately.

My 2 week old IS 350 Ultra white/Red F sport is in the shop for the rattle that feels to me to be under the car under the driver's seat. The dealer cannot figure out the problem after a day, so is keeping my new car. At least they were able to hear the rattle.

Having a very annoying rattle/creaking near the seat belt pillar on the driver's side? This occurs continously even on smooth highway roads. I will ask them to check it out at the 5k service.
Also, my steering wheel slightly "clicks" when turning the steering wheel 1 full turn to the right. It doesn't do it on the left side, and doesn't seem right. No turn signals or anything is on. Just seems flimsy with all these noises!

Been driving my new GTI for a few weeks now and I love it. As a longtime VW owner I am aware that these cars like to make mysterious noises, but this one is new to me. About 1 minute after starting my new 2010 GTI and driving to the end of the block, I hear a tick/tock sound from the right rear of the car for about 15 seconds. I am familiar with the fuel pump priming sound upon opening the driver's door, but this is different. What this might be?

Recently the drivers seat would only recline/move front to back tilt on the outer left most side. The seat back appeared to be frozen on the inner/right hand hinge by the center console. It just twists the seat back if I try to recline or move it at all
Is this a warranty thing or is there something simple like a fuse or plug the at could be the culprit?

My driver's seat has developed a popping sound when I move around, especially moving forward and back. It seems to be coming from the cushion in base of the seat or maybe down in the lower part of the seat back. adjust the electrically adjustable seat to her position. Since that is quite further forward than my programmed position the seatbelt was quickly choking her. So before I knew (I was sitting next to her) she unbuckled, with a bang.The bang was because there was quite a lot of pressure on the seatbelt.
No harm, nothing broken, at least ... until I heard the ping ping ping sound even though both of our seatbelts were in their sockets or whatever you call them. Inserting again, no change. Still the 'seatbelt light' on + the annoying sound.
Should I try to open the seatbelt socket/block/the thing where you insert your seatbelt in and see if there is some broken wire inside ?
