Lexus GS 2013+ :: GS350 F Sport - IPod Video To Nav Screen Via USB Input?
I just picked up my gs 350 fsport. having fun.. noticed that when i plug in my ipad to the usb port it recognizes it as an ipod. but.. here is the question.. it will play sound of music files no problem and but on the videos it only plays sound and give a message that device not video or something similar to that. Does that mean that some devices can be input through the usb to play video?

We have a 2010 Kia Sedona. My wife and daughter say that when they plug their iPods into the van, the iPods will only play the same two or three songs. This has been going on for many months. I don't have an iPod myself, and know nothing about them.

I found a few threads on this forum talking about skipping problems with ipods. Has there been a fix for this yet? I have a 2012 Prius Three and an ipod classic 80 gb from 2006. I'm not able to use voice commands because it says that the ipod is still syncing. If I play a song it will pause for 1-2 seconds randomly during the song, maybe 1-3 times per song. It's extremely annoying. It doesn't matter if I'm driving slow, fast or parked.

Loving the car, but I'm having an issue trying to get an older iPod (like iPod 2) to connect to my car. It keeps saying it can't recognize/connect to it. The iPod just continues to charge (even though it was just completely charged). I'm plugging it in using the USB inside of the console.

Is it okay to always leave my iPod connected to the MDI? I ask because I noticed it continues to charge my iPod even when the car is off. I don't want to hurt the battery if I leave my iPod connected 24/7. On the other hand, it would be a lot more convenient to leave it plugged in all the time.

I've been having a few problems with keeping my ipod connected with Entune. I was working fine but lately the ipod screen keeps saying loading. Then when I switch to another source like FM, then back to Ipod, I also get a "Function not available" screen. My iPod usually plays just fine in my ES350, but once a week or so it freezes up. I have to reboot the iPod and then all is good for another week or so. I have two iPods; this happens to each of them. The iPods do not freeze up when tied into my home stereo system. Usually there is an iPhone in the car, using the blue-tooth connection; no hardwired connection for the iPhone in the center console. I am using an Apple connection cable, not a cheap knock-off cable.

I can't find the dual anchors for the infant seat base; I know I feel dumb and I'm sure the dealer can show me how to access Blue Tooth connection; Phone screen flickers on and off see attached images. I lose the ability to dial number or access contacts
Phone is connected the whole time. I've deleted and added the phone several times. I am using Samsung Infuse ATT

Gen 3 Prius (Audio/Electronics) :: 2012 - IPod (nano 6th Gen) Won't Connecting To Info Screen?
Just got a new 2012 Prius II today. Got in the car with my iPod "splitter" cable adapter (on one end it has the ipod connector and on the other end is the USB & Auxillary cables), my 6th gen ipod nano, and hooked it up only to find that the Audio info was not connecting to the screen. I found that you do not need this "splitter" cable, all you need is your ipod adapter. You can use the that auxillary cable for a Walkman or something ! Glad, I figured it out the first day or i'd be pissed trying.

Lexus 2015 GS350. On the Nav. screen, when I switch my audio screen to the main screen from the side screen, it only stays on for a few seconds, and the map reappears on the main screen. Is there a way to lock the main screen to audio, and use the side screen for one of the other tasks?

I read that I can change the start up pics on my GS nav screen when starting the car. I like the default ones but would like to try something new. When I went to transfer my images in the directory, it asked if I really wanted to delete the existing ones. I was under the impression that what is default remains and that I can install new ones also. Does the default ones will be removed from car nav system?

I've owned Acura's for 15 years total and now own my first Lexus. Loving it so far. Just bought a used 2013 GS350 luxury package with only 12,000 miles believe it or not. Spectacular condition. Loving it so far after 4 days!
Quick condition, is there a way to permanently display the digital clock somewhere on the nav screen or is the analog clock the only option? Not a big deal, but prefer digital clocks.
