Lexus GS 2006-11 :: Check VSC / Anti-Skid And ABS Lights Are On
2007 GS350... Yesterday i ended up changing my oil and did not noticed the oil seal for the oil filter shifted . So it dumped out about 3 qts of oil when I started the car. Oil everywhere. I ended up cleaning everything and did the oil change again. Now I am having an check vsc light, also the anti skid and abs light is on. No check engine light. What can it be??? Can i just run a generic scanner ?

I just picked up my 'new'/used 2006 sonata! unfortunately, about 11 months in now, i have a check engine light and some codes; a local store told me what the codes were (i haven't got a code reader yet) and as i was researching them it sounds like either a bad O2 sensor or just the wiring going to it.?.? Codes are P0160, P2273, P0158. How can i tell what is actually bad? I am 'ok' at 'fixing'; just trying to save from an expensive garage repair if at all possible.

I just purchased a 2006 GS300 AWD w/115k. Started car on lunch hour to find check engine / check VSC lights on. Ran codes to find P0333 Knock Sensor code. Vehicle seem to run perfectly fine, but now that the light is on, it is definity spark knocking under acceleration. This is my first Lexus / Toyota product, so I am unfamiliar with the common problems or fixes. Are knock sensor replacements common?

I recently bought a 2007 toyota Camry le v6 with less than 38,000 miles it currently has 39,300 miles and my check engine light is on along with the VSC and a skid control light (car with squiggle lines behind it) we have a had lots of rain here where I live and I had to drive through a couple deep water puddles. I looked up online and it said The engine light may turn on if the VSC and skid control lights are on. Could this be that the sensors maybe got wet? I don't think anything should be wrong with this car considering it's a toyota with less than 40k miles

A few days ago my "Check VSC" warning came on along with the check engine and traction lights being on. I left my car in a parking garage for a week when I was on vacation and the lights came on once I started the car after getting back from my trip.
I have had the "Check VSC" warning before and I fixed it by replacing my gas cap. My gas cap seems fine this time around so I got my codes scanned and the only one that came up was P0300. Having this issue with the 2007 Lexus GS 350? I still feel like it's my gas cap because I bought a cheap replacement last time around.
Lexus GS 2006-11 :: Rear View Mirror Has Black Skid Marks
The rear view mirror (inside) has black skid marks, lines, and dots and other crap under the mirror surface. It doesn't hinder visibility yet, but I wonder if there will be a recall in the future. Mirrors should have crystal clear visibility.

2008 with 165K. I had the fuel pump replaced then started getting this code. Garage said they did a smoke test could not find any leak. I then replaced this part (CCV #31453-3K500 / picture attached) I still get the code.

I have a 2007 Dodge Charter 3.5L v6 Automatic that is having a few issues that I think are related. It all started with a P0158 Code O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage Bank 2 Sensor 2. Had this go on my previous vehicle so I inspected the O2 Sensor on passenger side closest to the back of the car. Wiring harness is fine, so I replaced the sensor. The code came back after about 3 days of driving (30-60mi/day).
Then I remembered some of the other issues I thought were not important, but wondering if together they mean something.
1.) While idling the engine seems to stutter, almost like its about to stall. Almost like it is starved of fuel for a second. This happens maybe 3 times a week.
2.) One out of Twenty starts are rough. I will turn they key, the starter/engine will crank and will take about 3-5 seconds to turn over.
3.) Significant drop in gas mileage. I usually get 340-350 miles before my low fuel warning light will go off. Now it will go off at around 290-300.
4.) When filling up at the gas station, the pump will shut off like it is full, when I know for a fact it is not (i.e. putting 1 gallon in when the tank is half full). I have tested this with the tank at multiple different levels and the issue always occurs. So even when my gas gauge tells me I am full, I never really know because the pump shuts off multiple times. That could be the reason for the mileage short, my tank is not actually full (fingers crossed).
5.) My OBD2 reader is showing the following information other than the code above: Readiness Monitors - 5 Complete, 3 Incomplete. The monitors that are incomplete are: Catalyst monitoring, Oxygen sensor and ERG system monitoring.
So my questions are: Did I replace the wrong O2 Sensor and is the Bank 2/Sensor 2 on the left (drivers side) and not the right? Is the issue the Catalytic Converter (I would assume the car would be throwing more codes at me)? And lastly, am I the lucky guy that has the last, and most unlikely, issue with the P0158 code and I have an issue with my fuel pressure/delivery system since I am getting gas fume kickback causing the gas pump to shut off prematurely?
Lexus RX 2004-09 :: Code P0037 - Check Engine And VSC Lights On
On the road today and out of no where I see the 2 lights on. So I get home and find the port for the scanner. plug it in and retrieve the P0037 code.
I cleared the code and I'm hoping it will not come back. What exactly does the code mean? What might I be looking at in my near future?
Car has 109K and I have not had it serviced since 85K except oil changes. I use shell 93 octane gas. car sees lots of highway when I'm using it. 2004 RX 330 AWD.

Tonight, during a short ride, all the sudden the VSC TRAC, VSC OFF and Check Engine came on. Atfter home, I got the P0057 code from a OBDII scanner. The P0057 code indicates O2 sensor on bank 2 lower sensor. However, the interesting thing is I also lost the power seat adjustment on the seat memory. When I switched between L1 and L2 , the mirrors and the steering position changes and the seat did not. However, the adjustment buttons on the seat itself work correctly. I wonder if this problem associates with P0057?

went to have an oil change. Standard procedure. Wife drives the 330 away and the check engine and VSC lights come on. I figure it's the maintenance indicator needing reset, but no..... the reset didn't work. Went back to my local mechanic who changed the oil to run codes and see what the problem is. Code P0157 = bad O2 sensor.
Now, I questioned him as to why these lights would come on DIRECTLY after they changed my oil. Is there any correlation there? NO, he says. No reason why these lights would come on immediately after the oil change and we've never seen these two lights come on at the same time before.
I've read every post and thread I can, but it seems like every issue is different. Some times it's a loose gas cap or gas cap that needs replacing. I have to drive 60 miles to the dealer some time soon to have a recall performed, but until then should I worry about this O2 sensor and these lights staying on?
Lexus GS 2006-11 :: VSC And Check Engine Light Came On - P0031 Code
VSC, Check engine light just came on my 2006 GS300. I only have 50k miles on it. I had this happen a few years back and it was the Gas cap o-ring. This time I changed the gas cap and reset the codes but no luck. After starting the car, with a minute the lights come back on. So checked the code and here is what I'm getting:
P0031
Heated Oxygen
Sensor Heater
Control Circuit Low
Bank 1 Sensor 1

Changing the sensor vs. checking something else that might be the issue?

I have 07 350 and my check engine light is on, i had it scanned and they told me that the code is BP0013 and bank 1 Cam position sensor is bad. What that code means and where is that sensor located???

I have a 2006 lexus gs300 rwd and my check engine light came on the code P0021 and the check VSC light is on as well and a knocking noise i checked my engine level and seems to be fine but thats just because im always adding oil since its burning a quart every 500 miles which is a lot so whats going on here? Also my idle seems to drop when at a light any one know about recalls on these cars?

One day my VSC, Traction and check engine lights came on. Nothing seems wrong with the car. Took it to a mechanic, they said many things popped up on their computer (emissions, etc, including replacing computer). The car has 48k on it, the warranty ran out at 39k.
