Golf VI R :: Cannot Auto Roll Passenger Window
I did some vag-com tweaks I noticed that my passenger seat window would role up and down but I have to keep holding the button. The full click down or up no longer works. My driver window works fine, what I have done wrong?
View 5 RepliesGolf V R32 :: No Auto Up / Down On Passenger Side Window
It was just pointed out to to me by a passenger yesterday that the auto up/down on the passenger side switch isn't working. I can do it when controlling from the driver side though. On the first click on the pass side nothing happens. Window only goes up/down on the second click position. I had speakers installed about a month ago but Im not sure if it's related. Do I need to take the door panel off to inspect the switch? What it could be?
View 5 RepliesGolf/GTI VI :: 2011 - Motor Holding Its RPMs / Passenger Window Very Slow - Driver Window Pause?
So I've been noticing some issues with my 2011 GTI with only 1800 miles. I had some weird drive by wire issues, like the motor holding its RPMs with the clutch in for excessive time, a start up and idle issue (TPS?), my passenger window is very slow (heard that this is common), and now my driver window hesitates and pauses when rolling it down... ERR!
And yes I will take it to the dealer, its just that I live 100 plus miles away.
Golf/GTI VII :: Window Auto Up / Down Stops Working Almost Daily
When I first got my GTI this was a problem maybe every could weeks or so. The driver's side auto up/down will randomly stop working almost every day now. I do the reset by holding the button down for 5 seconds when the window is down and then holding it up for 5 seconds when it's up. It then functions as it should and malfunctions a day or so later. I have a VAG-COM, not sure if that can reset something in the module? Not sure if it could also be the switch itself? I COULD go to the dealer but last time they just did the reset procedure and sent me on my way.
View 24 RepliesGolf/GTI VI :: 2012 - Auto Window Movement Going Up Will Stop Halfway
I've tried to search for fixes but nothing comprehensive works. The problem is that the auto window movement going up will stop halfway and lower a few inches so that it is about a quarter from being fully rolled down. Now, i've managed to get it back all the way up but I'd have to hold the up button. the auto roll is very picky and only works perfectly 50/50. I've tried to reteach the window settings and that does not work either.
The car only has about 1200 miles on it, and no moisture has ever gotten in. seeing as how people have complained about it before but not able to find a conclusive fix, should i just make time to see the dealership and have warranty cover it?
Here is a video I've found of the exact same behavior: [URL] .....
Golf/GTI VII :: Driver Side Auto Window Doesn't Work
So it started when the auto up DID work, and when it closed, it automatically came back down. In order to close the window, I had to use the switch in the non-auto mode. Now, the auto up and down don't work.
View 11 RepliesGolf/GTI VII :: Auto Up / Down Working Intermittently On Driver Side Window Switch?
My GTI has 300 miles on it, just noticed that the auto up/down function on the driver's side window switch only works sometimes. You have to push or pull hard on the switch to get it to auto open or close. I'm assuming it could just be a faulty switch?
View 9 RepliesPassat (B7) :: Rear Passenger Window Just Went Down When Driving At 80 MPH
Check this out, I was driving on a road trip yesterday 300 mile round tripper and just one time the rear passenger window went down on its own. Freaked me out for a second and then had me worrying it would do it again but never did, just a glitch or ghost in the machine I guess but I didn't like it.
View 3 RepliesPassat (B5) :: Passenger Side Rear Window Not Going Up And Down
The window actuator/motor is running and going up and down but the window isn't. I am thinking the clip/hardware that attaches the window to the track has broken. My issue is getting to it. Ive had the door panel off but cant figure out getting to the area.
View 1 RepliesFord Excursion :: Rear Passenger Window Will Only Go Up
Rear passenger window will only go up. I tried new motor, same problem, swapped switch with other back door the problem stayed on the same side. Drivers main switch to that rear window does same thing, up but not down.
View 12 RepliesFord Excursion :: Rear Passenger Doors Do Not Auto Unlock When Shut The Truck Off
Ever since I've owned this truck I notice that when I shut the truck off only my rear doors do not auto unlock. Is this normal? It's embarrassing when I have passengers and they need me to hit the unlock switch from my door to get out.
View 14 RepliesPhaeton :: Rear Passenger Window Suddenly Stuck Down
Took Phaeton in late Thursday afternoon, because rear pax window suddenly stuck down (regulator popped/exploded). Because I wanted to drive her to Las Vegas on Sunday, Sep 5, I asked my dealer if the window regulator was not available to be installed before my trip, if they could reset the window to its upright position (closed). The service writer said that this may not be possible, that the window could slip down... The mechanic reset the window up and I was allowed to retrieve my Phaeton, so I can drive it to Las Vegas tomorrow. I'll take it back to dealer when I return (a bit richer?)
Question: driving a long distance with the window up, but the window regulator broken?
My concern: the window will fall and I have no real way to get it back up. With temps running over 100 degrees every day of my trip, I do not want that window down. I have taped the window buttons (driver door and broken window regulator door) so they cannot be accidentally used..
Regal :: 1999 - Passenger Side Rear Window Will Not Lower
Just replaced the rear window regulator/motor assemblies on both doors. The cable guided regulator just worn out. Now the passenger side rear window will not lower at either the drivers rocker switch or the rear rocker switch. I did check for voltage at the motor connection (two wire) and have 12.4 V when raise is depressed, but 0 V when lower is selected.
View 6 RepliesCorolla / Matrix 2009-13 :: Rear Passenger Window Is Stuck All The Way Down
My rear passenger window is stuck all the way down. It will not go up at all by its dedicated switch or master switch. i can hear the motor when pressed down but refuses to go up. master switch is most likely the culprit (it has serious issues) & i'm still waiting for replacement to arrive in mail..
For the time being, what are my options, I can't take car anywhere with window all the way down.
Chevrolet - Malibu :: 2002 -Passenger Rear Power Window Won't Go Up Or Down
I have a 2002 Chevy Malibu. The passenger rear power window wont go up or down. Other windows are fine. I push the buttons from the rear door and the main control from the drivers door and nothing happens. I don't hear the window motor or anything going on while I push those buttons. I opened up the door panel and window regulator and motor seem fine. Connectors seem fine also.

I have a 2006 f150 extended cab and the rear passenger window stopped rolling up one day. I ordered a replacement regulator and installed it. It still doesn't work and I tested then switch in the door and it seems to be working still. The window itself does not seem to be caught on anything either.

View 5 RepliesFord F-150 (2004-2008) :: Passenger Rear Window Not Working?
I am looking at buying a 2004 Lariat and everything works beautifully on the truck with one exception, the passenger rear window. When the switch is pressed it not only doesn't move but there are no signs that the motor or regulator are working. The salesman grabbed the window and proceeded to say it was probably just "stuck". The window moves up and down about 1/4-1/2 an inch almost like it is not bolted to the track. Seeing as how I am new to this vehicle are there any common issues?
