Golf IV R32 :: Shifter Moving Slightly Side-to-side While In Gear - Shifter Cables Need Adjustment?
I recently changed the bushings and installed SS kit. I don't know if this was the case before, but now while in any gear, i can still move it approx half inch to the right and half inch to the left.
I checked everything and all screws are tight. Could it be that the shifter cables need adjustment?

I have 2004 Ford, thought it needed injectors because it was struggling hard almost a side to side movement. Had a friend recommend replacing the FICM, did that now it stumbles, less often, less movement like it's muted. I noticed it again yesterday after hard breaking, but also really likes to do it in heavy traffic.

So I just installed brand new coilovers and I quickly noticed a this problem. On the passenger side, when the wheel is lifted, I can feel a little bit of movement from the coilover and it really seems like it is the top bushing that is moving. I can see the metal top plate moving a little also. Everything is we tighten andI did the same thing as the driver's side but only this one does this. When the car is on the ground I can feel there is a bit of play in the wheel if I bang on it with my hand. Also, I know the gap on the top plates is normal, specially when lowered but again the passenger side looks weird and is much higher then the other side. What I'm I missing here ? Both side top bushing and bearing are also brand new.

2013 MKVI golf TDI with DSG. I use the manual mode a lot and now the shifter makes a squeak noise and is no longer a smooth movement. Ive attached a video link below of the noise.
I've tried spraying silicone lube down into the shifter and it hasn't made any difference. How I can maybe take the shifter apart and grease it?

BMW :: 2000 - Rolling / Movement Under Driver Side Floor
2000 BMW csi with 113,000 miles. When I turn right or left I can feel something rolling under my left foot as it sits flat on the floor. Not every turn, but very often. At first I thought something, maybe a water bottle was under my seat. I recently had 4 new tires installed, and this wasn't happening before.

The drivers side power door lock is starting to go out. The lock is very sluggish and sometime does not activate. Two months ago I sprayed the mechanism with some lite oil, that worked for a little while. I could not see the power relay on the power lock there is not much room to see inside the door.

Golf/GTI VI :: Passenger Side Wiper Blade Hitting Side Of Windshield Randomly
My passanger side blade has been hitting the side of my windshield randomly since the car was new. Wasn't able to replicate the issue at the dealer so I was pulling the blade off last night to investigate and broke the small square retaining clip (Red arrow). Do the clip assembly (Blue arrow) can be purchased separately or if I have to buy a whole new wiper.

I just noticed this, this weekend, sitting in GTI and Golf. I checked carefully, and indeed it feels like I'm not sitting directly in line with the steering column/wheel. It's not a huge issue, but just a little strange, that they wouldn't match them up straight?

Ok so here's the deal.. A few weeks back I started to notice my passenger side window started to roll slower than the driver side, not by much but its pretty obvious enough every time you either roll the window down or up.. I made an appointment with a VW service center to have them look at it but they said they can't do anything about it .. Is this true ..? The service guy told me that their would be no way to make the motor of the window go any faster or slower.. However I'm back here again due to some clunking/ticking noise every time I roll my pax side window which develop during their first assessment.. So they ordered me a new window regulator which is getting put in now.. The main and initial problem as to why I made an appointment in the first place was for VW service center to fix my pax side window rolling a bit slowly. Now since they are replacing the regulator of my pax side window I asked the service guy whether this would fix the problem of the window rolling slower compare to the driver side and he bluntly said no.. "we cannot make the motor of the window go slower or faster".. Is their any way to fix the rate of the window to go up or down..?

As I want to use the electrical mirrors to adjust my driver side mirror, passenger side mirror moves too. Is it possible that these faults caused by not coded ECU?
I connected ground wire of my LED to blue and black cable connected to the mirror and ran another wire from unit 10 in 16 pin door connector to live wire from my LED.
Golf/GTI VI :: Rear Driver Side Sits About Half Inch Lower Than Passenger Side On Flat Ground
I have a mkvi gti with all stock suspension except rear sway bar. And I'm right about to order driver gear springs. But have a question about suspension. My rear driver side of the car sits about half inch lower then then rear passenger side on a flat ground. Would this be caused by springs? Or struts? Or what. Planning on ordering the driver gear springs but what the real problem is. I want the driver gear so I'm a bit lowered but not crazy low since the roads in my home town are awful and my street I have to do figure 8's all the way down it to not hit a pot hole.

I have a nice 2000 Durango 4x4 SLT, automatic. I have some problems.
1) The drivers door outside latch will not open the door, the inside latch works fine.
2) The shifter on the transfer case is loose, it appears that the drive was left in 2wd since I have been able to use it. But it will not shift?
3) The steering wheel feels like it has a lot of play in it, also feels like a knuckle is in it when I turn it. It sometimes slips on turns at speed?
Golf IV / Jetta IV :: Right Side Rear Is Set Back Further Than The Left Side Rear
I Have had my 99.5 jetta for 4 years now, car drives straight, no tire wear issues, but from day one I have noticed by looking in the wheel wells of both rear tires that the r/s rear is set back further than the l/s rear, l/s rear looks centered in the wheel wheel and the r/s rear looks to be back further and not centered, no evidence of any rear damage from a previous owner, car drives straight as an arrow , I'm stumped, all four tires have worn even in the past 3 years.

I am having some issues with my radiator fan (the big one). Vagcom show an error I think it was "Movement Restricted / Jammed" so I'm thinking of ordering a new one but not the OEM . A year ago I had issues with the same fan, hit it with a small bat and it worked fine until now.

Golf VI R :: Code To Turn Off Headlights Movement?
1) Are there 2 lights in the head light projector 1 for low and 1 for high? Didn't see the lenses move as high beams go on.
2) do all R's come with LED license plate lights? Mine did and I ordered a set from ECS. So if someone didn't get LED's and they want a set PM me. 20 bucks shipped
3) I'm having trouble searching for the coding on turning off the headlights moving (hate it!) I find myself watching the damn lights and not the road.
4) I'm having trouble searching for the code to have the DRL LED's on full with the headlights on. I'd be nice to get those both added to the DIY post that thread was nice enough to put together.
