Golf IV R32 :: P1089 - 001 - Lean Limit Exceeded
I have checked egr, hoses to airpump (decided to order new ones), exhaust manifold`s bolts, vacuum hoses etc. I even ducktaped to be clear those hoses. Still waiting for brand new hoses.
I will get this fault:
17497 - Mixture Regulation; Bank 2; Range 1
P1089 - 001 - Lean Limit Exceeded
And noticed this one:
Seems to be second air injection. The engine is almost new 7000 km mileage after rebuilt. BFH engine code Euro model. First 5000 km i didnt saw the foult then every 500km and now its coming every 20km.
Some details on vdcs:
Car is running ok on idle 780 to 800rpms. Is it possible to mix up these # 24 and 25 connectors? How i can check those?

I finally got around to installing a transmission temp sensor in our '06 F250, and I have noticed today that it seems to be at 180 degrees regularly driving around town unloaded. It has been around 80-85 degrees outside today. We just got this truck about a month ago, so I'm still getting used to its little quirks. On our old 7.3 with a 4R100, it wasn't at all unusual to see 180 on a day like today around town. Is this normal on a TorqShift?

The car sat in a garage for 9 days. It had no problems before. Now I have a p0441 code that comes back after being cleared, and an intermittent gas cap light. Is there a typical problem that causes this?
Golf IV / Jetta IV :: 2005 - ABS Light Is On - Can't Clear The Code
I have an 05 GLI with many mods, far from stock. In the past i have tried to recode the ABS module with my vag com to ABS only because the traction control does not work when you make 300whp and im sick of pushing the button every time i get in the car. The module will not take the recode so i gave up. Then about a week ago the ABS light came on for no reason and i can not turn off the traction control with the esp button so i checked the code.
It said something about a system test (ill have to check it tomorrow to find out what the code was) i tried to clear it and it would come right back with no other codes. Then i took the car out and beat on it and the traction control still works (or trys to) and i hammered on the brakes and the ABS still works and the fluid is still full. Then i came to red light and i after i stopped i pushed the brake petal hard and the traction control light started flashing (im still stopped and not moving at all) It just kept flashing for over a minute even after i started driving. Then the tc light stayed on and the ABS light went off. As soon as i turned the car off and back on it was ABS light on and tc light off. Still only the same code stored. I tried recoding it to a car with ABS, ESP, and HD suspension and it took that coding. But still had the same code so i recoded it back to my oem one.
Golf IV / Jetta IV :: ABS And Traction Light Won't Go Off - Code P00285
Currently I have a 01 mk4 GTTDI golf. It has been parked up for a year but i want to get it on the road again, the Traction control light and ABS light are on on the dash and wont go off, i had a friend run Diagnostics and a fault of p00285 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Front Right (G45): Electrical Fault in Circuit.
Within the last 3 weeks i currently iv changed both front wheel speed sensors for brand new items, i cleaned the tone rings with a wire brush, and fixed a lose connection on the passanger side (RHD car). With the diagnostics we tested to see if the sensor was picking up anything, and with the car moving it wasn't picking up the speed.
I can't see any damage to the wires, and everything looks ok,

These wires look a little damaged but the insulation is still intact.
Wheel speed sensor new and fitted properly.
Golf IV / Jetta IV :: Engine Light With Error Code P1296 Came On
I was cruising down the highway and my check engine light came on. I was a few minutes from a auto store and they said my code was p1296. I found out it is either the thermostat or the coolant temperature sensor. I wanna know where it is located in the engine bay. I have a 02 VW Jetta 1.8T.

MK4 GTi - My check engine light came on a few days ago and when I checked it, it pulled code P0420.
Just this morning, the check engine light went away.
Is this a common issue? Or should I go get it checked just in case?

Just installed a short Ram intake on my 2000 Vw Jetta 1.8t. Had the Intake for about 250 miles and now the check engine light came on. Just pulled the code p0411 secondary air injection system incorrect flow detected. Is this just cause there is more air going through the MAF sensor?

I have a 2000 jetta 1.8t. Check engine light recently came on and the code is a PO1128. I replaced the maf sensor and that did nothing but make the car run worse. I've check for vacuum leaks and found a busted line at the egr valve, fixed the line, reset the code only to have the check engine light come back on with the same code. I am at a loss now.

I have a 2005 1.8 TJetta GLI owned for about 2 months now. Gas cap warning pops up then goes away when I turn off the car then check engine light comes on. I've change the gas cap to new oem one changed the purge valve [URL] .... After a couple of weeks same issues again brought it to my mechanic he ran a leak detector and told me that there are Evap leaks. I read somewhere that I might need a need charcoal canister and a fuel tank.

Bought a Mk4 1.8T gti last year had only about 75,000 on it and drove it for about 10,000 miles. The check engine light went on about 2 months ago and the code read 3rd gear incorrect ratio. It still rode fine until about a week ago when it started slipping. Brought it to the local transmission guys in my town and got a quote at about $3,000-$3,500 to have the transmission rebuilt. The transmission is a tiptronic automatic 6-speed.

After running to operating temp, if the car is turned off then restarted (like you would at a gas station, which is where I notice this) the engine will turn and turn and turn but not fire. I have noticed that stomping on the acceleration will cough it into life during this procedure. This doesn't happen every time and I have recently run high octane gas during a long distance trip.

Recent p0441 fault codes and gas cap warning light...
No other problems or codes...

I have a 2002 Jetta 1.8t. My check engine light came on and it gave me the code P0135 sensor heater circuit. Bank 1 Sensor 1. We bought a new 02 sensor and replaced it. We definitely bought the right one too. Cleared the codes. After a little driving the CEL came back on with the same code P0135. What is wrong and how I can fix this?

My 98 1.8t Passat is throwing a P1565 Idle Speed Control Throttle Position Lower Limit Not Obtained. I have cleaned the throttle body with no improvement and cleared the code many times with no luck. The car only has 114k on it car runs fine although some times will give me problems starting it ill have to sit and crank it for 40 seconds or more and also will idle on rear occasions 1300 vut normally between 850 and 900.

I'm the proud new owner of a B6 Passat I picked up this weekend. I keep getting the "0 MPH speed exceeded" on my MFA screen every time I turn on the car. I know how to browse through all the optional screens on it and reset everything, but unsure if there is a way to default a different screen on start up?
