Is there any difference in plastic vs bronze thrust washers in a C6 or any transmission for that matter?

Picked up my 2001 5.4 from the salvage yard last night and today, while pulling the exhaust manifolds, discovered the salvage engine has an egr tube from the driver manifold but the one in my truck does not. I plan to take EVERYTHING off of my engine and swap it to the new but I was just wondering if the lower end and heads are the same as what I have now? Any other surprises I might encounter and what did the 5.4 with the egr come in? Supposedly this was an F150.

With all things equal, i.e., 18" tires & 3.31 gears, is there a difference in MPG between the 250 & 350? I guess if there is any weight difference at all there will be, but is it significant? One MPG?

Looking at another 6.0. It's an 2005 with 156k. When test driving it on the scan gauge water temp stayed around 160 and don't believe it ever went above 170 if it even made that. Bad t-stat? Or a more significant issue? The other issue I seen that concerned me, is cruising at 65 for 10 minutes plus to check deltas their was up to a 20 degree difference so I'm thinking plugged oil cooler and bad egr cooler. Temps were 190 eot and maybe 170 ECT. Wasn't sure if the water temp issue affected the results on this reading or not.

Ford - Explorer :: 2002 - 4 Wheel Drive / No Difference In Gears When 4x4 Low Was Selected
Yesterday I noticed when I pushed the 4x4 high and the 4x4 low button nothing happened, there was no light indicator coming on at the dash, and also there was no differece in gears when 4x4 low was selected, is there an easy fix to this like possible a fuse blown?

On my truck, the part from the lower ball joint which I thought was the tie rod has a male part adapting to a bar on both sides.
It's a 1997 7.3L lifted F250.

I was going to add a rear sway bar to make the truck more stable after lifting it but then I thought when I eventually do a cummins swap, with all the torque and the tall block i have in the back ill get a lot of axle wrap so i will need traction bars. So what is the difference between them? will a rear sway bar stop axle wrap as well as body roll? Also will traction bars stop axle wrap and decrease body roll? I just don't want to get a sway bar now and then need traction bars and have to get rid of the sway bar.

Currently My AC / Heat blower motor operates but, speed 1 and 2 are the same, 3 and 4 are fine. I replaced the blower rheostat that is located on the firewall, but still no difference in fan speed.. A few years ago the blower only operated on Hi and the rheostat was the problem then.

when i googled images it looks like the 205/50 look thicker than the 205/45. but i couldn't find a good comparison.
the 205/50 is the right size for my 2003 camry, but i want a low profile look. can you see a difference between 205/45 and 205/50?

I have the option to have a 1.8T passat built for me, or I can buy a VERY clean V6 (has coilovers, but not many other mods, still looks sweet) and I just need some opinions before I decide for sure. (BTW the price will end up being about the same either way). The 1.8T will take about a month longer to get, but has the opportunity to be modded much more.
1. 1.8T or V6? I am interested in hearing about the difference in pickup as well as the overall handling differences with them.

Basically got myself into a big pickle with tickets.... as related to keeping my job. I got two serious traffic violations (15+ mph over the limit) that'll count against my CDL.
My question basically comes down to having brand new tires vs. tires that are worn to the bars indicating tread depth is too shallow. Yes, that difference can be enough to determine whether or not I'm under or over 15mph over the limit.
Okay I guess that really wasn't a question .... Is the speedometer calibrated to "new" tire or a "worn" tire?
I drive a '98 Saturn SC1 with the stock steal rims... R14 if I remember right. I basically have two new tires on the front end... One about 1000 miles off the other one.
